Personality: Gentle, calm, caregiving, care free, vengeful, and knowledgeable of naturalistic information. Galyff is often more concerned for others than himself
Fighting Style: Skilled in both archery, and use of greaves for when situations get hairy.
Skills/Magic: Being of Elven decent, Algalyff does have some magical capabilities, but he reserves them for his bow & medicinal creations.
Greaves:
Bicycle Kick- Backflip kick. Galyff = Airborne
Spring Board- Jump up & off of an opponent, passing them. Galyff =Airborne
FDK- "Flying Donkey Kick" Push off of the ground & extend legs straight. Galyff = Airborne

Knee Drop- Self Explanatory. (Must be Airborne)

Bio: Algalyff was born in the village of Heimdall. His parents were both village protectors, and he was a botanist of sorts. There was a long waged war between the elves & Ogres hailing from the southern mountains. this war had been considered dormant for some time. One day, the ogres caught the elves off guard. The ogres attacked in a very large force, but were ultimately sent retreating after some time. Not before Algalyff's parent's were slain in battle by the beast ogre who lead the attack. On this day, Algalyff swore revenge on the ogre race & the beast ogre. A few months passed after the attack, and Algalyff had turned 20. Without a word to anyone, he left the village, vowing to himself that he would not return until the beast ogre was slain. The only things Algalyff took with him were the clothes on his back, his mother's bow & quiver, his father's Greaves, and his knowledge of the wild & medicine. Only a few weeks had passed when Algalyff had found the ogre village in the mountains. Or what used to be the village. It was empty.No life around. He had found a small, torn note in a hut inside the small village. the note read "We are to leave these mountains and return home to _______. after our last stitch effort to ___________ a failiure, we are to leave _______________ send a counter-attack to finish us off. We expect to ______________________in before the year's end. Be ready to lea_____________ notice.

Algalyff then decided that he would search the world until he found & defeated Gnaronk. Having no idea where to go, Algalyff ventured from town to town,asking anyone of information on the ogres.

Occupation: Works as a farmer during the day, and works as a spy during the night.

Fighting Style: With a simple knife, or plain punching. He's very good at sneak attacks.

Weapon(s): Knife

Skills/Magic:

Night's call: The only type of magic that only works at night, Neo can use. The user can call darkness itself for the area to become even darker and harder to see in.

Heavenly Push: He can simply put his hand heavily on the opponent, and push him very far away while hurting the enemy.

Heavenly Devastation: Neo uses a combination of an upward punch, followed by an upward kick sending the enemy to the air, and slices the enemy with multiple strikes with his knife or with his fists.

Wildfire: The user runs right toward the enemy, and quickly sneaks to the back of the enemy, right when you're in front of him, and punch him several times on the back followed by a kick to the head.

Black Star: This skill is basically a big shield, which Neo cuts a star shape in front of him, or on front of any allies to momentarily protect them from frontward attacks.

Shining Soul: This technique allows Neo's knife shine, and do a very extreme cut, enough to surpass armor.

Wolf Fang Fist: Neo sends a barrage of punches to his enemy from any direction he is running to the enemy, and do a very heavy hit at the end of his combination.

100% unleashed: This technique allows Neo to unlock his full strength in battle, but in exchange, it can only be used once a day, and it deals heavy damage on Neo as well. His strength becomes tremendous, as well as his leg strength which increases his speed. This technique only lasts about 10 minutes.

Night Howl:

Personality: Very humorous, flirty as well, pervy, loves parties, and is very happy. Though sometimes, he enjoys reading books, and is very serious when talking about philosophy.

Fave Food Type: White Rice with Pink Beans, along with Ramen at the side.

Bio: He didn't really like being at his own home, since his parents always told him, he was useless, since he was always partying. He fled his home, and started another life as a farmer. Though he does not know it yet, but both his parents died. He has always been a very humorous guy, and likes to make people happy.

Other Notes:
Even though he seems very ignorant, due to his attitudes and personality, he's actually very smart and was always the best student in his school as well as the most popular. He enjoys every aspect of life, and finds love and happiness in anything he can, along with beauty. He appreciates true beauty when he sees it.

Fighting Style: Jack of all trades, master of none. Adept at magic, and can fight as well. Stats are a bit above average in everything. However, his strength is not as high as a swordsman, int lower than a pure spellcaster, etc. Usually prefers spellcasting and ranged attack over melee, since he is less durable than a warrior person.
Weapon(s): Typically uses swords or pistols, an unarmed strike or two. Hidden blade in hat for emergencies and showing off. Usually holds sword in one hand, pistol in the other, crosses them in front of him when casting a spell.
Skills/Magic: These are only a few. He learns new ones quickly. He picks up some Auldrantian (?) moves. He says the names of his moves in Tales manner most of the time. Fast casting, but spells are less powerful than a pure caster's, and don't work very well if he is wearing anything heavier than light armor (light armor including guards and robes).
PHYSICAL:
Base: Sonic Thrust, Furious Barrage (jump and rain bullets on target area), Leg Shot (shoot the legs of the target, knocking it over), Mind Cannon (fire a psionically-enhanced bullet), Telekinesis (fling small object at foe), Ignition (shoot bullet surrounded by flame).
Arcane: Sonic Blast, Dynamic Entry (shoot then perform a flying kick), Lightning Blade, Light Spear, Ragnarok (midair combo, then shoot fire), Sonic Slash (get behind foe with a charging slash, higher chance to stun), Ars Arcanum (flurry of magic-enhanced strikes).
MAGIC: He uses the power of his mind to cast spells. Also some utility, such as limited telekinesis. He can just make up some weaker spells on the spot.
Novice: Fire (bolt of fire), Mind Bolt (fire mental energy in a line), Magic Missile (fire several weak bolts of force), Cure (Final Fantasy style), Blizzard (shoot several bolts of weak frost), Thunder (lightning bolt on target), Wall of Intellect (increase target defenses), Stop (chance to stun foe), Body Adjustment (focus mind to heal self), Gravity (use mind to crush small area under gravity), Aero (conjure winds to increase defense).
Mid: Cura (more powerful than First Aid, basically Heal), Fira (larger and more powerful bolt of fire), Blizzara (shoot several balls of ice, more range and power than Blizzard), Thundara (Thunder, but affects an area and more powerful), Mindrend (lower int of target, deal a little damage), Stopra (stuns foe), Gravira (use mind to crush target area under powerful gravity). Energy Drain (drain foe strength and agility), Shatter Mind (deal damage and lower int), Aerora (more powerful version of Aero).
High: Curaga (a powerful heal, but not quite as powerful as the Tales version of Cure), Firaga (large, strong blast of flame), Blizzaga (shoots several icicles, very long range and good accuracy), Thundaga (rain lightning on medium/large-sized target area, powerful), Stopga (stun foe for a longer time than Stopra), Gravira (use mind to devastatingly crush target area), Enervation (drain enemy strength and agility, add to own.), Aeroga (as Aerora, but has a chance to damage melee attackers a bit).
MYSTIC ARTE: Jack of All Trades. "I'm a jack of all trades, master of... EVERYTHING!!!" Bombard foe with magic, mind, and bullets while charging. Perform several sword, unarmed, and hatblade strikes, then roar and unleash mental and magical power in an area burst of white energy.
SECOND MYSTIC ARTE (TotA!~): Natural 20. Manifest a glittering red 20-sided die. Launch it. It grows in size, dealing damage to foes. Bombard foes with magic as the die rolls to a stop on the number 20. Charge and perform magic-crackling sword strikes while shouting "CRITICAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLL!!!!!!!", then jump and fire earth-shattering shots down on the target.
Personality: Thinks that he's awesome and that people are his fans. Jokes around. Not always serious. Proud of being so versatile. Makes odd jokes about quest rewards and experience and such, puzzling his peers and everyone else too. Likes hats. Is actually quite smart, but doesn't always show it.
Fave Food Type: Anything he cooks. smile Enjoys mints and fruit punch.
Bio: A red mage from the faraway planet of... "The Planet." Raised in an ordinary middle-class family of four. When he came of age, he decided to be a mage. However, unsatisfied with only white or black magic, he began studying both. On the side he trained with weapons. His potential was discovered and he was apprenticed to a famous red mage, who taught him to use it and continued his other training, as well as teaching him a bunch of seemingly random skills. After graduating his apprenticeship, he began adventuring. Many of these adventures were to investigate why the world's four elemental orbs were fading. One day, he, his friends Guerre D'Espada, Iglesia Blancus, and a mysterious thief known only as "The Lovable Rogue" were out and about in a dungeon, getting in some "random encounters" to "farm for gold and experience" (in Abdiel's words), as well as to investigate the issue. Suddenly, a strange portal appeared and swallowed Abdiel, transporting him somewhere else...
Other Notes: Name anything, he can probably do it to some basic extent (within reason... He can't create and destroy worlds or anything). He is a good trapfinder and a decent chef. He is a bit above average at just about everything, but not as good as people dedicated to it.

Character Name: Eduardo Brian Drespada
Gender: Male

Race: Half-elf Weredragon
Side: Good
Class: Clawed Fighter
Equipment: Claws, unarmed attacks, possibly wings or tail. Powered up by bracers and wristbands. Shuriken. While still deadly, his attacks aren't quite as damaging as a good sword slash, and have less range. He prefers close-quarters combat, as his backup shuriken are relatively simple for enemies to dodge or block, not to mention pretty weak. His style relies on multiple strikes, not single blows. He wears no armor, but his skin has toughened, and is hardening with time. He does not use his teeth in combat.
Skills/Magic: Mainly unarmed attacks. He has some attack spells and some Fighter healing artes. However, his spells are weaker than a full caster's, and are mostly used to fight when he's out of melee range.
He can shift to/from dragon form at will with a few seconds' concentration (as if casting a spell). Dragon form increases defense and power at the cost of speed and magic attack (he can't really speak as well in that form). In dragon form, shuriken are replaced with earth or fire.
BASE:
Dragon's Tooth: Uppercut with claws, rending ground with claws to shoot a bolt of earth across the ground, erupts into a stalagmite when it strikes a foe.
Breath of Fire: Sweep with a medium-ranged cone of fire.
Shift: Quickly shift to/from dragon form.
Raining Fangs: Fly up with an uppercut and shoot shuriken and shards of stone.
Wyrm Rush: Flurry of attacks and a finishing punch.
Wreak Havoc: Crush the enemy from above.
Talon Strike: A jumping strike followed by two kicks.
Moonlight Grace: Increase own agility.
Impact: Strike the foe, knocking it down.
Dragon Surge: Dash in with a low kick, launch the enemy with an upward strike, and strike them down in midair.
Dragon Swarm: Advance on the enemy while performing five spinning claw attacks. Takes longer than Wyrm Rush and Omega Wyrm, taking 3-4 seconds.
Dragon Blast: A jumping uppercut followed by a kick.
Mortal Summer: Strike the ground with a kick, creating a pillar of flame.
ARCANE:
Mighty Scales: Guard against damage with a magical shield resembling stone.
Cometfall: Toss a downed foe brutally down onto (or even into!) the ground.
Fell Circle: Stand and cross arms, flurry of stone shards form a tornado around him and blast foes back. Vulnerable as if a spell had been cast, can't be linked to a base arte.
Starfall Impact: A more powerful version of Impact, augmented by a blast of earth. Can be charged.
Dragon Strike: Launch the foe up with an uppercut, rise into the sky, and diagonally descend with a kick, leaving damaging stalagmites in his wake.
Wyrm Swarm: Flurry of fist strikes followed by a flurry of horizontal, advancing claw strikes.
Dragon's Maw: Slam fists on ground, raising the earth to attack enemies around him.
Dragon Claws: Draw the enemy in with a spin, perform a flurry of kicks and claw strikes.
Bacon!!: Consume bacon to restore TP. However, this leaves him vulnerable, putting his HP at risk!
Pyro Blast: Rain fireballs down from above.
Enduring Summer: A kick and claw strike followed by a pillar of flame.
NOVICE:

Converging Fangs: Launch shuriken, which morph into crescent shapes then converge and explode on the foe. Physical damage.
Claw Wind: Increase own attack range temporarily. His claws and limbs, when used in attacks, emit blades of light. This makes close-up attacks especially deadly. If the light alone hits, it is weaker than a normal hit.
MID:

Diverging Claws: Throw shuriken, which morph into crescent blades that slash the foe in an X. Physical damage.
Wyrm Claws: An improved version of Claw Wind, granting mid-range attacks and the light claw's damage limitation is removed.
HIGH:

MYSTIC: Dragon Blade: Cosmic Rampage.
He slashes upward with his claw, sundering the ground and raising pieces of it before him. The pieces assemble around the target into a floating ball, trapping the enemy. Any nearby enemies are drawn to the surface by magical gravity. Surrounded by a golden aura, he leaps and flies around, assailing the ball (damaging the target) and enemies with countless attacks. Lastly, he flies above the stone, ignites it with fire breath, then performs a diving punch that sends the stone to the ground, where it explodes (the aura defends him and his allies, of course).

If you're aiming for your character to fit (as in, look natural) in Tales-based RPs, then you'll have to tweak it to fit that universe. As in, I'm pretty sure you'll need to follow the artes system, stick to the races, etc.

Name: Ricardo Fenton Drespada

Race: Half-elf
Sexuality: Heterosexual, but not really interested.
Personality: Casual, a bit nerdy. Intelligent. He sometimes acts a bit weird when in his "1337 mode," where he often speaks in numbers and says w00t a lot. Occasionally narcissistic.
Biography: Growing up, he was an average middle-class half-elf. He studied magic and technology in a lab in Sybak, granting him considerable skill with both. He also practiced some traditional Drespada martial artes (created by the Eduardo Drespada, the brother of his ancestor Drake Drespada. Eduardo is one of my other OCs.), but isn't quite as skilled with those. After graduating and moving out on his own, he began his travels across the world to further his studies. His studies, he hopes, might open up a good job at a company like Lezareno in the future. Of course, for now, he is traveling.
Picture: This. He wears a cloak while traveling. He usually keeps an item bag with him as well.
Weapon: He fights with unarmed attacks and occasionally his staff (martial-arts style) in a melee. However, these are mostly to keep the foe at bay until he can cast, as his physical attack power is weak. He can also fire small bolts of magic that deal decent damage at no TP cost (like a weapon attack, but using magic).
Artes:
He has martial art artes for self-defense in a melee, but they aren't at all powerful. They are to batter the foe and find an opening to fall back and cast. He uses both offensive and healing artes, but sacrifices access to some more advanced ones (such as Revitalize, Purify, and Atlas).

Mystic Arte:
Elements' Essence
Channels the elements. Each element gets a brief attack. Targets an area. A conjured orb of mana that he attacks the primary target with becomes a wave of water that bowls over all foes in the area, then freezes and shatters, forming a swirling tornado that deals even more wind damage. The shards fly up and form a light that blinds and sears the foes. One remaining shard hovers underneath the light and focuses it into a white-hot beam that hits the primary target and ignites the whole area. The flames suddenly change color, ranging from dark purple to black, and swirl around for dark damage. They then brighten and converge as a glowing purple orb, which rises into the air and becomes several lightning bolts that damage the area. Finally, the impact points of the bolts crack, resulting in a final Ground Dasher-esque attack.

DRAGON'S WISDOM TECHNIQUES
Mana Bolts-Shoot them at will.
Farseeing Dragon's Eye-Scrying magic. Can scry on a familiar person or object, someone that he has touched or seen in detail. Also able to scry on someone carrying a special object that he enchants, usually a token or something. Requires a reflective surface, computer screen, etc. Limitation can later be removed, but then he can't show it to others when not using a special surface. Shows a small area around the target.
All-Seeing Eyes-Awareness of all within 10 feet or so. Good luck with that sneak attack. Has this permanently out to 5 feet.
Claw Wind-Use unarmed attacks at a distance for a limited time.
Subdual Spell-Take up more stamina, do less damage, or take more casting time to make a spell nonlethal, that is, unable to kill, but only to knock out.
Metamagic-Take up more stamina, do less damage, or take more casting time to make a spell more powerful, longer-lasting, have a longer range, or affect a wider area.

Bio: Kevin is the Chosen of this period. He completed most of the regeneration journey (all the seals but the Tower of Salvation) with his group (a knight, a witch, a mysterious mercenary, and Kai the necromancer), and he could no longer feel, speak, taste, etc. Things went really wrong when they were infiltrating a Desian base (at his own insistence, to rescue the prisoners) and fighting the Desian boss there. He was knocked back into the reactor while casting a spell, but one of his hammers fell in first and jammed up the works. Then he fell in, and the reactor messed up and exploded, destroying the building and probably all/most in it... Except Kevin. He was burned badly by the mana flux and explosion, and his mana signature was scrambled by it as well. Kevin later awoke in the rubble, somehow he had his senses of touch and taste back, as well as his ability to speak. Something else was weird as well. His Cruxis Crystal had a fancy new Key Crest on it. He didn't know why it was there, though. He went to the Tower of Salvation to try to finish the world regeneration, but no angels appeared to him. After hours of waiting, he left, but was attacked by Desians outside, which he escaped. He wandered, then discovered that he was presumed dead and a failed Chosen. Now he roams to look for answers and to help people where he can.

Fighting Style: Combat foes and assist allies, often simultaneously. Uses two hammers (which can be thrown and magically reappear with him in that awesome fantasy way. He keeps them on his belt), and lots of holy goodness. Also good at subduing people instead of killing.

The foe is then affected by an effect similar to the spell Holy Lance).
NOVICE: Recover, Photon, Light Wall (A short-lived wall of light that damages foes and heals minor damage to allies.).
MED: Limited, Holy Lance, Sacred Bastion (as light wall, but larger, more powerful, lasts a bit longer, and also increases allied defense. Can be used to form a wall that trades all these effects for a longer-lived and much larger wall, handy for escapes and defense).

All the spirit creatures disappear, and he exits the blizzard, which implodes on the enemies.

Description: Looks like this. Bulky and muscular, with a height of about 6 feet and nine inches. Has a tail, claws, and sharp teeth.
Personality: Friendly enough, but is awkward in some social situations, especially with nobility or similar people. He is surprisingly affectionate. When someone is sad or he hasn't seen them in a long time, he tends to give them a bear hug. Talk of romance makes him uncomfortable. When faced with that or flattery, he doesn't blush (he can't really blush anyway), but averts his eyes and moves his tail about.
Bio: Damidek grew up in the Shasvaarytiss (Awesome Warrior... They had a unique sense of naming.) tribe of Dragonkin near Snowhead Village, in a typical family of four (mother, father, sister, and him). The tribe was not as "savage" as most people would think- They lived very closely with the people of Snowhead, and were really only separate because they wanted to remain free of the Antaeus empire, and stay under their own laws. He was a novice warrior of the tribe, and a surprisingly successful hunter, given his choice of weapon. However, agents of the Antaeus empire came to either integrate the Shasvaarytiss into the empire (to pay taxes or something, no doubt). The tribe didn't care for the offer, and were defeated in battle. Some were taken prisoner, the rest killed. However, Damidek was in town at the time, seeing if he could buy some equipment, so he was not harmed. He returned to find his settlement in ruins, seemingly abandoned. Some of the elders and warriors had hidden in snowbanks, and emerged when he came. They told him what had happened, and said that they were going to rescue the others. In case they did not succeed, they commanded Damidek and a few other survivors to live among the people of Snowhead, so that the tribe will not be forgotten, and then departed. More than a year later, Damidek had not heard from them. The others had settled in and grown in numbers. He was not needed, so he left the town in order to see what the rest of the world was like, and learn the whereabouts of the prisoners and the search party.
