Violetstar nodded in gratitude to Ben as he dumped a mouse in front of her. She devoured it in mere moments then stood up and shook her fur. Sleeping in the two-legs' den had obviously been the best choice, but she still didn't like the scent that clung to her fur like a burr. Having been slightly energized by the freshkill she did a little hunting of her own. She took down a few mice and dropped them off in small pile in front of the den's entrance. She padded off in search of more prey for those who had chosen to stay outside.

Tigonheart walked about the twoleg nest sniffing at all the different smells there. It was an interesting place to be. He smiled as he chased a little bit of paper that blew across the ground. He jumped on it and then looked around and began looking for a mouse to catch for dinner, and wondered where he would sleep. None of the other cats he really knew, though he might see if the few other Riverclan cats were going to sleep in the same area.

Hawktail awoke early the next morning, her thick fur fluffed against the cold that had crept in over night and damp with dew despite being inside the abandoned twoleg den. Shaking from head to tail tip, the she-cat sighed quietly and began grooming herself. Around her, the sounds of other cats mingled strangely to her ears. She was feeling slightly groggy, but it sounded, and smelled, like some of the others were feeling much worse; especially the foolish ones who had stayed outside. With her tail raised and waving slowly, the brown and white cat padded to the open entryway to look upon their 'guards'. The shadowclanner seemed to had fared worse than Fleetwing; but the windclan she-cat didn't seem to be feeling fantastic either. Hunger drew her back into the twoleg den again, and she quietly went to work tracking down the scents of prey. The entire place smelled like it was just full of mice, and although she was used to catching rabbits, the windclanner adapted to simply waiting for her prey fairly easily. After a few misses, she finally caught enough mice to eat her fill.

It took her a little longer to catch a few more, and Ben, Tornadotail, and a few others were already awake and hunting by the time she padded back to Fleetwing. She dropped two mice by her clanmate's nose. "Eat up, We need you to recover from your foolishly noble decision as soon as possible, okay? For Bramblestone and Rollinggust." She mewed bluntly, but softly before heading back to Violetstar with the third mouse.

"It isn't cold blood but this isn't that bad." BleedingMoon commented shoving the carcass towards Swiftclaw with a purr of amusement. Doubted any one would want a juice less mouse but that didn't stop him from offering. His gaze wondered away to the waking cats, stretching their weary limbs and starting the day. The seen gave him a sense of pride and confidence "We've survived one night in twoleg place and we're that much closer to saving the Warriors."

The ShadowClan cat flicked his silver ears as the WindClanner approached the group of night guards with a meal for her two clan mates. "Foolish, noble it's funny how those two go together." he meowed cooly narrowing his silver eyes. Not sure if he was heard by the cat that trotted off to attended to her leader.

Sunflare yawned and stretched, eyeing a mouse that skittered around in distress at the cats. She stalked forward and leapt, but the mouse dodged. With an angry hiss, she chased the prey and caught it with a pounce and settled down to eat. "I prefer rabbits." She grumbled. "More meat on their bones." Finishing up the meal quickly, she looked around. Several of the cats that had slept outside didn't look that good. She was thankful that she had stayed in the two-leg den.

Violetstar had caught one more mouse by the time she sat down to rest. She had put that mouse into the pile too so that those who were to tired to hunt could get to freshkill easily. She licked a paw and as she looked up she saw Hawktail coming up to her with a mouse. She smiled at her fellow WindClanner and scooted aside a little for the other she-cat to sit. "It's a shame that we can't set out right away." She mewed to the other cat while observing the others.

Rosethorn's ears twitched as she overheard Violetstar. She looked up from washing her tail to respond to the leader. "I don't see why we can't, actually," she meowed, bowing her head respectfully. "It looks like just about everycat is awake and has gotten something to eat now. Perhaps we should ask Theresa if we can set out now. The sooner we get moving, the sooner we can find the missing cats."

Swiftclaw backed away a tail length or two, a bit disgusted at Bleedingmoon's act.
"Uh, that's alright, I already ate."
He was still a little hungry, but what he really wanted to do was sleep. However, it seemed that everybody was awake and soon they'd have to be moving. He doubted that he'd be able to get any rest. So he stood up, ready to be moving.
"I agree. We can't stand around all day while they are still in danger," he said, his words turning into a yawn.

BleedingMoon flicked his ears in a 'suit yourself' sort of manner before finishing what remained of his meal. He didn't really like the flesh and bone part of the mouse but he thought it a shame to waist it. Going on a long journey after all, it was uncertain when or where they would it next.

Purred with amusement as Swiftclaw announced the ergance to leave with a weary yawn. This was the second time this cat had put his clan before himself and BleedingMoon was binging to admirer the warrior. "I agree." BleeadingMoon said getting to his paws. Made note to himself to keep an eye on the exhausted warrior.

"You should've told me that you were ready then." Theresa snorted before turning back to the road. "It looks like the wind will die down come this evening. We all should have no trouble in going twice as fast tomorrow then, to make up for lost time."

Spiderheart had taken one of the mice that the other cats had hunted for the sicker ones. He felt miserable. Not only did he feel wobbly when he tried to stand up, he was wrong. Maybe he should've slept in the two-leg nest, just to save himself from embarrassment.

But he tried to remain strong as the patrol finally left the place they were staying in and continued travelling. He got the feeling that they were going in circles sometimes, but maybe he was just that groggy.

((Skipping and cheating for a bit here, to move the plot along))

The place they'll be staying in for tonight was a well-kept two-leg house with no signs of abandonment. They reached there right before the monsters started populating the streets, to the relief of many. Navigating the many thunderpaths was hard enough with the few things that rolled on them.

Though they weren't able to sneak in the door or a broken window, Theresa showed them a small open window to the side of the house. She has stayed in here before, when needed, and the two-leg that occupies this place is barely around to notice.

When everyone was shoved inside, one at a time, she had to inform them that they weren't really staying in the house. The room was dark, with a dusty smell and curious large objects crammed into every available space. They'd be safe from everything, from the weather to any vicious creatures, and if they want to exit, they'll have to climb up those objects and out the window again. Unfortunately, there was no mice, but there is a bowl of kittypet food and water near the door for anyone that didn't feel like hunting...

It wasn't long since they have invaded the place when a shrill voice interrupted.

"Hey! What are all of you wild cats doing here in my house? Who are you all anyway?!"

Swiftclaw went the whole day feeling like his head was in a cloud, almost like he was dreaming. By the end of the day he was about ready to collapse. He thought he'd never so happy to see a twoleg nest when Theresa showed them to where they were staying. Eager to be inside so he could sleep, Swiftclaw scrambed through the window, finding it hard to get through, due to his sleepiness.
He was about to find himself a nice place to sleep when he heard the strange, shrill call.
Immediately, he turned to face the cat, energy in the form of adrenaline surging into him. Oh wait, it's just one little cat.
"And just who are you, exactly?" Swiftclaw asked, completely ignoring the cat's questions.
He was starting to calm down, but his heart was still beating quickly and his fur stood on end.

((I am so sorry! D8 I need to keep up more often!!))

Fleetwing nodded to the ShadowClanner. "My name is Fleetwing. Nice to meet you, Swiftclaw."

~~~
The next day, Fleetwing was silent and tired, her only words a grateful "Thanks!" to Hawktail as she dug into her food. Bramblestone, wherever you are, I hope you're okay...I hope you've got food as good as this... What with the wind and the strange surroundings, she hadn't been able to sleep, especially as she kept watch, remembering Ben's advice about staying subtle. The next day she spent in a daze. She would have followed her fellow WindClan warriors, but after spending the night watching with Swiftclaw, she gained a certain measure of respect for him. Her shyness started to melt away and she stuck close by him. She wasn't as weak as the other warriors who had slept outside, but the small she-cat wasn't at her top form.
She followed the rest of the warriors and stared at the walls of the Twoleg den. When she saw the half-grown kittypet, she fluffed her fur up and stepped towards him. "It's polite to introduce yourself first," she murmured softly.
Spiritspine glanced around the place, his black eyes taking in everything. The air was tainted with the stale scent of kittypet food. His eyes narrowed as they rested on the kittypet, and he jeered in disgust. Despite he was eyelevel with her, he had a condesending air.
"Great. We have to share this place with this pampered kittypet."
"I'm Hannah! I'm not a kittypet, whatever that is!" The said cat replied, fluffing up her fur and hissing at Fleetwing in return. "You didn't answer my question yet too! What are you doing here? It's my home, and my housefolk's going to be sooooooooooo pissed when they get back!"
"If they get back before we leave." Theresa snarled and examined the place some more in the dim moonlight. "We'll only be here for a little while. Surely you'll leave us in here in the dark and cold while you cuddle up in your soft comfy bed, wouldn't you?"
Spiderheart ignored the talking between the clan cats and the kittypet and glanced around. He was too tired to bicker with her, and he wanted to sleep. Sorta. He was more hungry. After he caught something, he'll find some corner to curl up in.
He couldn't scent any mice, but while bumping and knocking over some two-leg stuff, he uncovered something else interesting. Near Hannah's food and water bowl, there was a... picture, he guessed. Of the brown kittypet, her two-legs, and another grey spotted kitten that looked like her in a way. Except that she didn't have whatever she was wearing.
Strange. He could only scent one kittypet in here. Where was the other one?
