Aponi saw the two kits playing and watched them happy to see them bonding already and the strength from there little legs pushing them on. She laughed at her little daughters will to play like a normal kit and knew there was more then hope there was certainty for her future. "I love our family" she breathe barely a whisper.

Annan smiled when he heard her quiet sentiment, and said, "I love them and you so very much." He was so happy with his family, and no little setback or even bigger setbacks could ruin this. He walked over to Alaxandara and Coalan and sat on the other side of them to stop them from wondering to far away from their den. He wanted to keep an eye on them, and it was much easier for him to do that standing near them.

Aponi didn't know she had spoken out loud. Getting up and walking to the entrance she laid there making sure the fragile kits couldn't escape giving Annan a lick on the cheek as she did so. "We can't focus on negatives when we have such a beautiful family" she muttered. Alaxandara came up to her mothers warmth and laid down next to her falling asleep again.

"Your right, we can't." He laughed when his beautiful daughter curled up to sleep next to her. Coalan was not ready to rest, and started attacking Annan's tail. He laughed and lifted his tail high enough to make it harder for Coalan to get it, but still within reach. He winced a few times when Coalan got a good grip on his tail, but he kept playing with the little kit. He smiled over at Aponi, happy to be playing with their son.

"Oh don't bite your father Coalan" she scolded the kit trying to repress the laughter coming from her throat. She watched her daughter and wondered about what her future might hold and then to Coalan and what his future will hold. She loved her kits like this but she new they had to grow up.

"It's fine," Annan said, lifting his tail a little higher to make it harder for Coalan to reach. He was said that his kits had to grow up, but also glad to know that no matter what they would be okay. They would eventually have families of their own, but until they grew up, he was happy to be their parent and happy to get to be close to them and take care of them. He could not wait for Aponi to want more kits, although he knew they probably had a while to wait.

Aponi started giggling at the little playful male. She remembered her mother who wouldn't have let her play roughly, she had never wanted to but always noticed that her mother had looked disdainfully at the kits who where rougher. Aponi was always a gentle shy little kit and she laughed at her son's playfulness.

Annan was being continuously amused by his sons constant attempts to catch and eat his tail, but eventually Coalan grew tired and walked over to were Alaxandara was sleeping in order to curl up beside her and promptly go to sleep. Annan laughed quietly when he noticed how quickly Coalan fell asleep. He was still young and was tired out quickly, but he enjoyed playing to much to let it keep him down for long. "Aponi, why don't you get some sleep while they are both resting?" he said, looking over at his mate.

"Yes that may be a smart Idea" she said yawning hugely and nuzzled up to her kits. "You should get some rest as well" she murmured to Annan slowly falling asleep. Her eyes went like lead after the eventful day and she soon went into a dreamless sleep.

He smiled over at her and watched her drift off, and then he too drifted off to sleep, dreaming of their kits and being sure to stay at least partially alery in case the kits woke up. In the morning, he stood and stretched, looking over at both sleeping kits and smiling. He walked over to the river and caught a few fish to bring back as he waited for Aponi to wake up.

Aponi's eyes fluttered open as she awoke and yawned. "How long was I asleep Annan?" she asked slurring her words together groggily. She stretched with her paws in front of her and stood up seeing the freshly caught fish. "That is so sweet of you" she said happy she didn't have to go hunt for herself,she hated killing. Staring down at her now awaking daughter Aponi gave her a bath, cleaning her daughter with her tongue as Alaxandera squirmed.

"I am not sure how long you were asleep, but since they were sleeping soundly still I decided to go and get some breakfast." he said, laughing as he watched Alaxandara attempt to escape her bath. He nudged Coalan slightly, causing him to wake up and pounce on Aponi's back. Annan pushed him off Aponi's back, so then Coalan started to climb all over Annan as Annan ate a small portion of the fish he caught.

"O ok thank you" she let out another yawn. Finishing Alaxandara's bath she laughed as the kit ran away from her shaking as she was like a normal kit and hated baths. She ran behind Annan and ventured a cautious paw to his tail batting it cautiously. "She is healthy otherwise" she laughedd watching Annan become covered in kits.

Annan laughed, falling onto the ground and rolling over at the kits played on him. He was so amused by them, and could not help laughing. He loved his kits so much. He grabbed Coalan quickly and nudged him toward Aponi in case Aponi wanted to give him a bath to, all the while fending of Alaxandara's now playful claws. She was quick, so Annan got a few new scratches, but none were anything to worry about, and he loved playing with his kits.

Aponi laughed at her kits and her mate playing together happily, she was a laid back mom who didn't want to get involved with the playing. Aponi saw him push Coalan towards her and quickly pulled him over to her and started giving the little kit a bath gigglig at her daughter while doing so.
