When Peyote called to her, Llune looked over her shoulder and realized that yes, indeed, everyone had already been fed and watered! "Well... I suppose I ought to fetch myself a plate now, hm?" she says to Zayn, taking the fish from his hand with a brush of her magic and whisking it safely over to the preparation area.
Llune laughs, the tinkling sound of lightheartedness, and trots lightly (is she floating?) over to the spread of fruits and other non-fleshy things, putting together a plate and returning to a log nearby to sit and dine.
"Mmmm! Oh, Peyote! The strawberries are divine!" Llune is lost in a heavenly haze of sweet, delicious, fruity flavor.

**It's better that way, I think.** Blaze matched Joy's grin with a nonchalant shrug. If he'd felt the prod in her mind, he wasn't showing any interest. **How's the water? You went swimming, right?** The day had been hot, and the firestarter had begun to develop an appreciation for bathing in safe, shallow waters. He still was no Wavedancer.

A light shrug of the shoulders and Autumn sent, *The water is cool and inviting but the feel it leaves is unpleasant. As for a swim no. The vast deep is to deep for me to go splashing out to far in.* A true fear of its great expanse felt in the send. She smiled warmly now. *Get us some meat and come sit and chew it with me.* A warm and friendly feeling washed over the send.

Dewpaw returned to the group riding Morningtail, the wolf still cautious despite Dew's reassurances. The elf cub was grinning and howling the whole way, as short as it was. *Dancer! Savith! Look who's back! Morningtail came back.* While the send was directed at the two named elves, it was left open for everyone. When Dew got close to the others, she slid gracefully from the wolf's back. She gave the wolf a hug, clutching his neck tightly and bruying her face in his grey-brown pelt. She reached for the meat that she had left behind, intending to give it to Morningtail.

Llune watched the reunion with interest through a haze of fruity heavenliness, smiling broadly the whole time. Were she a less proper and polite elfess, she would have elbowed those next to her in good humor to point out the happy reunion, but Llune was raised to be proper, and so she keeps politely eating her delicious fruit. **Oh Dew, I'm so happy for you!** is all she sends to the youngster, though the emotion included in the send is joyful relief and congratulation.

Tidalwave had thought he saw a few animals in his time but the wolf was new. His heart leaped a moment as it bounded closer but Dewpaw was swiftly spotted and he made himself relax. None of the others seemed upset, least of all the one on the wolf. His mind drifting back to Dewpaw mentioning she was a wolfrider. Indeed she was.
He laughed quietly to himself and gathered a few things to nibble on before sitting again near Llune. She seemed so frail as if the wind might take her away in the moment of a strong breeze. Still she took all the rudeness Fathom gave her with a smile so she was strong even if it wasn't able to be seen at first glance. "Have you always preferred to eat plants and such Llune or only since you received the child?" He nibbled lightly on this and that. Some of the tastes making his face light up or scrunch together. Still he liked to try new things s much as he liked to meet new friends.

Llune beamed at Dewpaw, happy to see her so happy, but not entirely able to relate, as she's never had such a close relationship with an animal - hardly even any other elves, to be honest.
But as Zayn sits beside her, she turns to him, the movement a twist of gracefulness, munching on her plate of goodies and blushing furiously at the mention of "receiving" the child. Oh dear. That means everyone here knows that she joined at some point... Ewwwwwwwww.
"Ah, hm," she begins, clearing her throat to push aside that feeling of embarassment she gets when someone points out her child-bearing-ness, "Actually, I have never been fond of meats and such, though I have been known to sample them from time to time. In my younger days the occurence was more frequent, and lately because of necessity," she scrunches up her face in recollection, much as Zayn scrunches up his at unpleasant flavors, "But in all, were I to have my choice about it, I would never touch the stuff!"
The last was said with a hint of sureness, just before she laughs again lightly. "Though I must say, some of the interesting creatures that you and your kin have brought have piqued my interest... What do you call the one with the many legs?"

Savith watched Starsong a moment, then shook his head and rolled his eyes. Turning away from the treeline, he found a place to settle and start in on his own meal when Dewpaw came bounding over, sending his name. He looked up, a gentle is some-what bittersweet near grin on his features. **A blessing, indeed, Dewpaw,** he replied openly with only the slightest chill to his thoughts.

Dewpaw giggled as the wolf ate the meat from her hand and gave her a grateful licking. *I knew he'd come back soon. The little welp couldn't go chasing ravvits forever without his little rider!* she sent as an open reply to everyone. Dewpaw touched her forehead to the wolf's once more before pointing to Tidalwave with a grin, "Thats Tidalwave. He's a wavedancer like Fishie!" she moved her hand so she was now pointing at Creek Runner, "And thats Creek. He a plainsurnner. He rides no-humps. So no hunting them. Okay! And..." Dew looked around the fire, looking for Fathom. It was then she remembered the elfess couldn't come on land, unlike the other two wavedancers. She turned to look toward the water before standing up adn running to the edge, toward Fathom. "Fathom. look! This is Morningtail! He's the wolf I mentioned. Or I think I mentioned. I'm not sure who all knows about him. But now everyone does, cause he came back." Dew's excitement was clear in her voice.

Tidalwave nodded lightly to Dewpaw's introduction to her bond. His gaze moving back in time to see Llune turning the loveliest shade of red. It made his smile broaden as he slipped a bit of meat past him lips. As he chewed he sent to her, *I will remember to bring more water plants for you to try if you like. Most things have a salty taste but that is from living where they do I suppose.* His eyes only left her to look at the many legged thing she was speaking of. Did it pinch or have suckers or something else? He wanted to be sure to explain the right thing to the Mother to be.

**Aye, let's. It's good stuff.** Blaze was about to comment further on the deep when Dew's outcry broke his thread of thought. He watched for a while, grinning as the cub lavished attention on her bond, then turned back to Joy. **You wolfriders and your wolves. Really are quite close, aren't you?** The send carried a tinge of pity; regret for the subject.

Llune smiles, her blush fading fast as she continues to eat off her plate of tasty fruits and vegetables. Chewing with her mouth closed, just as a proper glider does, Llune responds to Zayn's send **Oh, that would be fantastic! I would love to try some of them, salty or no!** she smiled again, truly enjoying the company of the waterelf.
When Zayn asked what water animal she was referring to, her mind touched his lightly with a send remembering the earlier meetings with Crosscurrent where some 8-legged thing with suckers had been introduced ((octopus)). And then there was a time that a pincher-thing had been introduced, as well, come to think of it, and Llune passes along that memory as an immediate afterthought ((crab, or lobster if you prefer I suppose)). And then there was the time Llune saw some strange thing in the water when she was out for a walk, and the recollection is briefly shared once again. This last creature had long lazy tendril-legs and a poofing bubble-like crown, and the whole thing looked like a watery bundle of shiny ribbons ((jellyfish)).
Swallowing her mouthful of leafy veggies and berries, Llune finishes her little send-series of pictures of unfamiliar things that come from the vast deep with, "But when I asked, I was referring to the first thing ((octopus))... When I think about it though, I must say, many of the things I have seen from the vastdeep have many legs!"

The otherwise tough wolfrider faltered for an answer here. Her happy face melted away as if the water washed it out to sea. Turning her gaze from the fire elf she nodded. Her own bond lost not long after the moon shattering. Still the wolf that remained at her side for many a turn was as much a reminder of the blood she longed to be rid of as much as he was her very best friend and constant companion. Once she was able to choke back the thoughts she walled off most of her mind and replied to Blaze, *Yes, at times. Though it seems her kind accepted it better then mine did.* She gnawed lightly on a bit of meat and stared at the ground.

Blaze ventured a reassuring pat on Joy's back, griping her shoulder with a gentle shake. He fell into lock-send, open to scrutiny. **Oh, come off of it. It's not the time for mourning now, among the others in their festivities. Wolves, zwoots, even elves must eventually pass away. You'll find another in time, be it wolf or elf or whatever. And then you can worry over acceptance. That's past, this is now. All we'll ever have is now and later, no?**
He grinned suddenly, electrified and wreckless.
**Now cheer up, or I'll throw ya inta the water.**

For long moments Autumn looked at Blaze. From his head to his toe and back up again stopping at his eyes. His face turning into a grin and the look of trouble all over it. A smirk soon found her lips as she shoved him with a chuckle, *You just try and you and I will be rolling all over the sand again.* Her send to him alone and held a feeling of thanks in it. For him not prying nor him showing her pity.
