Draqx finished thinking and decided that just staying my the gate was a bad idea, so he thought that perhaps if he traveled a bit to get beyond the sight of the city perhaps he could send up a flare... from what he saw of the people earlyer, they would be at least slightly curious...

But first things first, he was outside the city and no need to keep pretenses up so he took off his cap, his hair poofing out after being held down and he rearranged his attire to what he was more comfortable with, sighing ah he put on his labcoat, it felt good to be back in it again... though with white being the way it was, as soon as he started moving with it on it would draw the eye, even though heavy brush, though that might serve to his advantage anyways... so after he double checked to make sure everything was ready and his pack was secure and in the proper position... the spot where the chemical had spilled on the labcoat earlyer would have to be looked at later on, but he really should get a move on.


And with that Draqx started out at a comfortable pace, if any gaurds did see him, they would see his pace and not be as concerned about it... hopefully.

Jade kinda regretted asking about Aron's past when he got the answer that he did. Though he knew that he wasn't going to get anything out of him, so talking about something else was just fine. "Alright then, no talking about Aron's past, I'll remember that in the future. Sorry, if i would have known I wouldn't have suggested that. My past well, it's nothing probably compared to yours, but I'm just a kid after all." He said with a slight chuckle. "Ether way, I'll tell you a bit. If you remember I told you about my real parents dying before I really knew them. My real last name is Cross, I'm planning on using that if I ever leave Cheries, for safety reasons of course."

He continued walking behind Aron still keeping up to him. Hopefully his talking would help Aron at least survive until they found Alexis. "My parents now, well, I know you're not a fan of non humans, but, that's what my parents are, and I really didn't have anybody else and they're all I have. Either way, they're the reason I am what I am today. Though, them both being male means I've never really had a female in my life, can't really help that though. Just so you know, my original goal of traveling was to help anybody that needed it, and also to show that non humans really aren't that much different from humans."

((Well, hopefully that'll leave Aron with an interesting reply. ;p))

Jade blinked slightly as Aron had stopped for a moment and just gave him a cold and blank stare. "If it's like that to be a mercenary, that must be a tough rule to follow. Even though I'm still just a kid, well I don't feel that way about myself but, either way, I seem to cause quite the trouble, even when I don't mean it. I know it's noble as well as very tough but, it's not like I'm going around and telling people what to think. I want to show people, hopefully through non violent methods that not all of them are as bad as the stereotype. I mean sure, not all non humans are good people, though, the same goes with humans, it's just the non humans who have never hurt anybody and should have the same rights. It's been through personal experience that I've learned to see things this way." Jade smiled slightly as Aron patted him on the back a couple of times. It made him happy that even though Aron saw things differently, he wouldn't not be there for him.

"Well, I dunno really, my parents were always good friends with my parents who adopted me. Though, I can't really dwell on something I've never known. My parents now are my real parents to me, and nobody can change that. Plus, they have never been easy parents, they don't like me slacking off, that's why I had to work for everything I learned, like my magic and my slight bit of fighting training. Oh, I'm rambling again, sorry. You're right though, even in my short time travelling, I've dealt with things that I can really learn from. Even though I'd like to trust everyone, you can never be too careful in this world, either way, I'll cherrish your advice for sure and try to remember it when I need to." Jade let out a slight laugh at how silly the last part sounded to him.

"So you are basically saying that if they don't fight or harm others, they have the right to be treated equally? If someone were to take someones land.... and that person wanted it back, they would fight or harm the other, that is a right... and yet... what happens if he does nothing?" Aron paused his words and then grumbled. "I can't explain it in words someone like you would understand, just remember, everyone has a right to defend and protect those things close to them, like I protect Alexis... take away that right, and you strip a person, human or otherwise from everything which makes them, them."

Aron was a strange person, very strange indeed. "Here, south gate.... where is that woman and Alexis?" Aron already had a bad feeling, he would probably have to tract Alexis down, or kill himself, he did break quite a few rules over the last little while, losing Alexis would be the final straw for him.

Renee head her head rested against the tree she was sitting under, the girl Alexis was still out cold. Frowning, Renee knew this was not good, it had been over an hour since the whole incident at the inn. "Hmmm..." she sighed as she leaned forward to study the girls face, to see if there were any signs of movement under her eyelids. With another sigh she sat back, her butt was sore and tired from sitting in the same position and not moving due to Alexis's head in her lap. "Poor girl..." she murmured, no one should have the responsibility of carrying such a heavy on her shoulders. Renee tried to put herself in the girl's shoes, serving some unknown master that comes in visions, ridding the world of the shadows crystals, and having to do it all in countries who oppose even your own power. Whimpering at the thought and shook her head, it was best not to think such things. Somehow she knew she had pledged her services to the girl, even though they never exchanged words on it, it was there nevertheless.

Renee looked out at the landscape that surrounded the city of Dea, something was wrong, they had been waiting for a very long time now. They should have been here. It was hard for her not to place Alexis up in the tree and go find them herself, but would Aron be mad if he saw her then. She laughed to herself at this, he is so protective of her it's unreal. She sighed again and rested her head against the tree. "I wonder where you will lead us next?" she looked down at Alexis. Her eyes traveled back to Dea and she thought she could see several specs out there, two side by side and another tailing. Renee frowned, they were being followed. "This is not going to be good." she bit her lower lip, mentally preparing herself to fight again. She wondered if there was any way of getting their attention without alerting anyone passing or even at Dea's gates, she could not see any way of doing it. Renee would have to wait until they were closer.

Draqx had walked far enough away from the city so that those watching from it would not be able to see him any more. When he was sure that he could not be seen from the city he pulled out a tube and fiddled with it untill it extended, a slightly smaller section of tube dropping and it repeating that prosses a few times till it was the length of a goodly sized walking stick. With that done he made sure it was locked in place and set what looked to be a fairly small crystal mounted in a cylinder of some sort of metal into the top of the now extended walking stick. once in place Draqx gave it a bit of a turn and it started to faintly glow and slowly build up to the point of it being a respectable light source. Draqx made sure it was working properly started off once again, with his labcoat and the lit walking stick, if anyone wanted to find him it would be a fairly easy task.

"Well, we'll just see about that Aron." Jade said with a slight smile as he watched him reach for his sword. "Well it's good that they're both safe." Jade moved closer to Aron as he stumbled a little and eventually fall to one knee. The wound was clearly open once again from the walking and Jade worried silently. He could see the blood soaking through his shirt and he let out a slight sigh at the sight of it. "You're bleeding again Aron, I know it may not be the best idea in this situation but, if you intend to get that guy back for what he did, then you should let me heal you a little more. Please." Even though he tried to keep his worrying hidden from Aron, it was clearly on his face.
