Addy grumbled at the idea of doing chores but she didn't argue. No good in that. She followed her sister with her own plate. You rinse, I'll load, she told her sister through their shared telepathy.

Lilly didn't have any complaint with that. She enjoyed the feeling of the water running over her hands anyways. She hummed as she moved the stool out from underneath the cabinet next to the sink and stood on it. It would have been impossible to reach otherwise.

Addy finished bringing the rest of the dishes to the sink so Lilly could rinse and started loading what was already rinsed into the dishwasher.

Japi left the table to get the guest room ready. She could have just used her magic to do the work, but she decided she'd rather make the bed with her own hands. The sheets in the closet were a little dusty, but she shook them out. It really had been a long time since they'd had a guest.

"Daddy's coming home tomorrow!" Japi told the girls excitedly as they got home from school.

Addy hid her excitement. She'd always been closer to her father, but she'd never admit it. She put her backpack away with a simple "uh huh" instead and went to see what Uncle Sekenre was doing.

Lilly on the other hand expressed her excitement with a squeal. "Daaaaaddy!" She flopped her backpack down on the couch and skipped around the room, acting a lot younger than her age, making her mother laugh.
"And is Uncle Krillo gonna teach me today?" she asked with even more energy.

"Ah Lilly, I won't have to teach you what you already know and have. I just have to show you how to use it. Considering my pupil, this should be easy." Krillo smiled wide and help out his arms to hug his niece.
"Druid don't spoil your student too much." Sekenre teased from the other room. He was leaning against the door that lead to the special room waiting for Addy.

Addy rolled her eyes and entered the room without a word. She stopped at the entrance only to look her new mentor in the eyes and nod.

Lilly giggled and jumped into Uncle Krillo's arms, completely unafraid of his bulky, barky arm. "So what first?" she asked excitedly.

"Well....why don't you show me what you can do first." Krillo then lifted her up, sat her on his tree arm shoulder and started heading outside.

"Okay!" Lilly held on tightly to the large tree-arm, more out of excitement than fear of falling. She knew her Uncle Krillo would never drop her. When they reached the outside she dashed to her little corner of the garden and surveyed her flowers. They were all growing quite nicely, even though she'd never used her powers on them directly.
In truth, her powers still effected them, leaking out of her when she played with them or talked to them, drew them or just watched them. Even just this small interaction effected them, and Krillo would notice.
"Daddy said it would be a good exercise to not use my powers on some plants," she explained as she petted certain flowers gently on the leaves, power leaking out without her knowledge. They didn't grow but instead gathered nutrients from her touch. "But these over here," she moved to the other half of her little garden and pointed out some edible plants, herbs and such. "Mommy said I make the best parsley," she giggled, petting another plant and making it grow, visibly. She picked a little bit of the dill and handed it to Uncle Krillo. "Dill too. Taste it."

Krillo knelt down next to Lilly, grabbed the dill and tasted it. "Wow Lilly, thats great! Though, I wonder, do you truly know whats going on here with your powers? How it is that your plants and vegetables grow the most and taste the best?"
Sekenre nodded back to Addy and followed her into the room. The room was void of light and had a musty feel to it. He snapped his fingers and a circle of candles lit to reveal a circular room with walls lined with books. One wall held a closed cabinet instead of books. there was a small circular table in the middle. "Welcome, Child, to a portion of my Library."

Lilly thought for a moment. Uncle Krillo's question was a good one. She'd never really considered it before. "Well, I," she started, not exactly confident in what she was about to say. "I think it's like..." she paused a moment. Did she really even know? What was it she did when she made plants grow. "I ask them with my head, like when I talk to Addy, I ask them to grow like I want them to." She knew that wasn't it though. And she was pretty sure Uncle Krillo knew too. "Maybe," something struck her. "Maybe it's when I'm asking them, I feel like I'm giving them something too!"
