Mara nodded. "Take all the time you need, I have no where to go." She watched them go up the stairs. She wanted to listen, but she was also fighting her senses so that she couldn't hear what was being said.
She stood alone in the room, still for a moment before she began movie around the room, looking curiously. It was a nice place, she thought happily. She touched nothing, just paced from one side of the room to the other. She rushed back to where she had been when she heard Lucius coming down the stairs.
From the spot she was at when he left she looked up at him. "Asleep?" She asked, "Strange," She laughed softly. "Oh, I see, he will be quite happy I think." She still watched Lucius, curious of what he was. She turned her attention from that to his question. "Hm? Oh, He seems like a wonderful person. It's been a while since I've seen someone so trained, and so sweet. You have done a good job teaching him." Smiling she tipped her head to the side. "Why do you ask?" she inquired.

"I like to think that I have." Lucius said softly. "I want him to set a good example. He is very talented for his species." He looked at the floor above for a moment. "I have set the process that will halt his aging. So he will awake when it finishes. He has strong feelings for you, I'm sure that you have sensed it. I gave him warning, but... he is ready to make his own decisions." He said. "Would you like to sit down? Please, sit down and relax, miss Mara."

"Oh, I see." Her voice was enough to cove for the lack of blush in her cheeks. She found a seat, and sat down looking up at Lucius. "Yes, I had sensed it." She looked over her shoulder at the stairs and back at Lucius. 'He's changed, or stopped his change because of affection?' "Yes, I suppose I do like him, he's polite, friendly." She looked into Lucius's eyes. "He's proven that he is not afraid of what I am, and that he will follow."

Eve stopped for a moment, a perverse smile crossing her face. "She eats her own kind?" Eve gave a laugh in amusement. "That's fantastic. I pity the mortal who crosses you. Well if the child is indeed hungry, and you wish to feed it, allow me to join you in the hunt. I could use refreshment myself." she smirked, baring sharp white fangs.
Somni looked down in surprise. He watched the young girl trail off, and took a few seconds of deliberation before following. "Excuse me Miss, but what did you feel?" His slow stride turned into a brisk walk, in an attempt to keep up with her.

Lucius smiled faintly. "Oh, he will follow. I don't think there is anything that could deter him." He moved to a window and looked out at the city below. "Sometimes I wish he would think of himself for once. He has special powers, the likes of which I haven't seen in any other creature, living or otherwise. But... he is still young, you can see that I am concerned for his well being. And now I guess I can't watch over him as much anymore." He turned to Mara and took a seat of his own. "I want you to watch out for him, when I can't. I feel I can trust. If I didn't I would let you read my thoughts." He said with a sly smile and with tongue in cheek.

Ollie, sighed, unsure of what to say to him, quickly she says, "It's like I'm in a cotton ball, and I can barely feel someone touching the outside. I..." she glances at him from over her shoulder, "I have no idea what you are. You're not like me, you're not a vampire. I don't know what it is I felt." She stops suddenly staring at him. "Why are you following me?" she closed her eyes and sighed. "Never mind. Better than being alone." She sighs and stops in front of the church. "I've never felt anything like that before." She moves up the stairs, creaking open the door to the church.

The creature lifted herself up, untangling her tail "As you wish my dear...do you wish to ride with my child, or to fly as your kind often do?" The little one wiggled it's way back onto her back, hiding it's face in it's mother's hair. She turned her head "Your friend is walking back towards the church...she shall be here soon"

Mara chuckled, "Is it that easy to see?" she asked him. "I will watch him as best as I can." Mara promised him. "I am one of the vampires who can control their hunger. I do not drink form humans, I am a vegetarian. If you trust me, I will trust you." She smiled, "And if he is loyal, then I will be as well." She said softly. "Thank you for your trust, I will watch out for him as much as I can."

Lucius smiled, clearly relieved. "Thank you. You reassure me a great deal." He sighed. "And Zack is loyal, don't you worry about that. You have already won his loyalty by letting him befriend you." Lucius leaned back in his chair. "Are you curious as to what I am?" He asked her. "I'm quite sure that you were thinking of it at some point." He said.
Arzachel stood on top of a building, standing on the very tip of a lightning rod, gazing at the city below. Listening and watching all going on below. Thing were not going the way he wanted them to, he could no longer safely socialize with werewolves. This galled him to no end, as he could no longer find any value from associating with his own kind, or at least he hadn't found a vampire the peaked his interest. "The night is no longer the place it once was." He said to himself. "I must become free of the night." He said. Arzachel leaped off of the building, and halfway through his fall he turned into a bat and flew off aimlessly, searching the city for something interesting.

Mara nodded, "Then I shall work my hardest to keep my promises and to deserve his loyalty." Mara watched him for a moment longer. "Yes, I am curious as to what you are. Zack is right, you are not a vampire." Mara watched him now another moment more. "I try not to read into people's minds, but sometimes I fail miserably. I like to ask people before I begin to invade their minds. If I do not ask for permission then I only hear the lightest thoughts. If you like I can guess, or you can tell me. If you want me to figure it out then I can search your mind for it. I leave it up to you, but I really would like to know." Mara told him smiling as she lay back in the chair and lay her chin on her folded hands.

Eve chuckled. "I do not fly, assuredly. I can walk of my own volition." She turned to the squealing church door, and flashed another smile. "What brings you back, my dear? We were just about to join in the hunt." Eve motioned towards the Naga.
"I..." Somni muttered only to stop in his tracks, mesmerized by the serpentine creature before him. Her glowing eyes protruded in the darkness, so that he hardly took notice of the other immortal.

Lucius smiled softly. "Yes... I think that I'd might as well come out and say. I've wanted to tell Zack but... I'm making it part of his learning. To take the information available to him to uncover it." He explained to Mara and stood up. "I am a Lich Mara. I'm not sure that you would know what that is. I was once a vampire, but through means unknown, even to my creator, I became what I am now. There hasn't been another Lich in many hundreds of years, as far as I can tell. So I have since made it my work to keep mistakes from happening again. To prevent history from repeating itself. That's why I've trained Zack so much." He said to her.

Ollie moves away from the man that followed her, as if to disclaim him, so that, if the serpent woman were to attack, she might attack him instead. Her eyes remained glued to 'Sairen' as she moved to Eve's side. "You keep interesting company. Myself included."

Sairen arched herself, lifting the child up into the light, letting them see it. She then slowly, as the child got a better hold, lifted herself into a position similar to theirs, so it looked as if she were standing. Her long tail curled itself around her for balance. "I simply wish to hunt...my child is hungry" She slowly made her way towards the doors, her body swaying like that of a dance as she slithered, her tail trailing behind. She paused by the male, looking down at him. She gave a small growl then turned back to Eve. "Do you still wish to join me?"

Mara watched him and listened closely to all he said. "So you where once a vampire." She thought for a moment longer. "So what makes you different from vampires, how did you become a Lich? Like a necromancer, correct? Can you do the same things a necromancer can?"
