"Nature, of course," Tal smiled, still nursing his plate, "Good food. Travel. Literature."

"Aha." the neko nodded his head a bit. "All of things I can agree with. Though, s'been many years since I've traveled."

Tal itched his cheek and looked down.
"Are you married?" he asked casually, pushing some food around his plate. He wasn't certain why, but he couldn't seem to make eye contact at that moment.

Riot blinked, a bit thrown by the question. "No. Why?"

"I don't know," Tal said, looking up and chewing thoughtfully between statements, "You seem like the type to fall in love young, travel the world, enjoy life, get married and settle down, still...very much in love and successful!" He had sighed dreamily during the pause, like a girl relaying a fantasy life.

Riot sighed somewhat at that. "I didn't exactly meet many people when I was young. And very few who remained so even when I was." he replied.

Tal nodded.
"I know the feeling. I've never been in love, though."

"I haven't either. Met a few people who seemed to be but haven't been in it myself."

Tal nodded, looked back down to his food. He pushed the one last noodle around for a while before eating it.
"Would you like to go on a date with me some time?" He looked up slowly, afraid of what he may see.

A soft smile worked it's way onto Riot's features. "Certainly. That would be lovely."

"Wonderful," Tal said, smiling softly. He'd only ever been on a few first dates, and there were rarely repeats. He was a pretty face, pretty enough for a night or two, but if he wouldn't put out after an expensive glass of wine, that was that. Even the women seemed put-off by his vaguely prudish ways.
Tal took up a warm bread stick and dipped it in what remained of his sauce, swirling it around. He ate this much less daintily. Bread was filling and wonderful and, for him, rare.

Riot laughed a bit. "I shall have to warn you, I haven't been on any first dates in a few thousand years."

Tal shrugged. Mmm, soft bread.
"That's fine. I've never dated before recent times," he admitted, and then paused, "What do you enjoy on dates? Of course, your response may be a bit outdated, but I'll do my best." He smiled smartly.

"Do you prefer...moonlit walks? Rich meals? Romantic evenings on the beach?" Tal asked, giving whatever options he could think of, "Do you like it to end formally, a goodbye at the door, or with a tender kiss, or with something more?"
