Cindy waved a bit as she headed back to her room, "Later."
Entering what was to be her room, for the first time Cindy realized exactly how long she would end up staying. She was going to be very old by the time this was over, which shouldn't be unusual, but... it was something to think about.
The first thing she unpacked were her plants, because those were the most important, then everything else after that.

For the first time since Shael had begun to teach Rhea in the afternoons, Rhea was fidgety and had difficulty concentrating on her work. Shael wasn't surprised. She had a new teacher, after all. But when it got to the point where little blue sparkles of magic began to shimmer in the air around her, Shael decided that it was time to give up.
"No causing trouble, you understand," she warned Rhea as the girl jumped out of her chair.
"I know!" Rhea giggled, pushing her chair in. She grabbed her stack of paper and a quill that was filled with ink, and then headed towards the stairs. She wanted to watch Cindy- she didn't mind doing her work at the same time.

Cindy had arranged the plants she did have in the way she liked it, there were empty pots stacked up in a corner in case she would have need for it later. At the moment she was pulling out clothes, summer and spring clothes were on top because those had originally been put away in favor of winter and fall, so they were the last pieces of clothing to go in.
She was going to have to store that away somewhere until it was time to wear them again.

Once Rhea got to the top of the stairs, she tiptoed along the hallway and peeked around the corner of the door in Cindy's room. She didn't know if Cindy wanted to be left alone or not, and she was hesitant to make her presence known.

Cindy hadn't heard Rhea come up the stairs nor down the hall, however the girl had developed a strong sense of paraonia whenever someone was watching her. She sort of blamed that on Mia actually.
She turned around to check the door, only to see Rhea peeking around.
"Rhea," Cindy smiled, "Done your lessons?"

Rhea's eyes lit up when Cindy acknowledged her, and she stepped forward to the middle of the doorway, nodding at Cindy's question.
"Mama said we could finish early today," she said quietly. "Are you all done unpacking?"
She stepped forward and looked around at all of Cindy's things. "You sure brought a lot ..."

"Well, I don't know how long I'll be staying, but I believe it'll be for a long time, so I just brought everything," Cindy replied, "And it was faster taht way."
She took a few light bottles she had and set them on her night table, windowsill and desk. Even though she had candles, these would be much easier and she didn't really use candles to be honest.

Rhea set her papers and quill on the floor near the door and wandered over to the table where Cindy had put her bottles.
"What's that?" she asked, running one finger down the glass. She looked up at Cindy, her eyes filled with curiosity.

"They're potions, they all different things," Cindy explained touching the one that Rhea had, "This one is light in a bottle. It does give off light, you need to shake it first though, and it can last for a few hours."
Though there were only so many shakes per bottle before it faded.

Rhea's eyes glowed with excitement. "Can I try it?" she asked eagerly, her finger coming to a rest on the side of the bottle. "It looks pretty, I bet it makes all kinds of light!"
She giggled.

"Just becomes light," Cindy giggled, "Sure, you can try one."
It wouldn't hurt and really it wouldn't be that long until it the sun would set since it was winter.

Rhea's eyes glowed brightly, and she clasped one of the bottles in her hand and lifted it up. She shook it hard and then put it back down on the table, though she kept her hands wrapped tightly around it.
"So pretty," she cooed, putting her chin on the table so that her face was nearly right against the bottle.

"Careful, if you look at it for too long you'll see spots for a while later," Cindy told her.
Not that it would do anything bad to Rhea, it was just it might take her a while to see clearly and since elves could see far, she didn't know how this would effect them in terms of other aspects of sight.

Rhea giggled and let go of the bottle, laying her head on her hands instead to watch it from the edge of the table.
"How does it work?" she asked with wide eyes, looking up at Cindy instead of at the bottle. "Can I do something like that?"

"There are two liquids exacted from plants and earth that helps give off a glow," Cindy explained, "You can't see it because the liquid is the same colour, but thise liquids are different, so much that they separate naturally. So when you shake them, you're mixing them, causing them to react against each other which makes them glow. I just add magic to increase how long they last and to make them glow stronger than they would normally."
She paused for a moment and thought about it.
"I don't know, you might."
