Ginji nodded, all to willing to let someone with more expierience lead. He might have been the head of weapons development, but hewas still technically just a field agent. "Allright well, that'll be easy. If we can overide the security lock down and make it back the Registration room, I can use either the portal, assuming it hasn't been disabled, to get to the armory and grab some emp's. If it has been offlined, I can always just insert the EMP schematics into our EM-Waver and make one or two from scratch....as for neuralizing machinery, it doesn't do much except for temporarily scrambling their sensors. Erasing their memory is differint...but its possible...the closest thing to neuralizing a machine would be erasing it's storage...so a pure magnetic shockwave should do the trick...and if we have a basic repair kit, I can tweak a neuralizer to do exactly that...unfortunatly, I have no idea where I'd get a repair kit...and to make the EM-Waver work, I'd need the datapad, which means you guys would be stuck without sensors...Unless...." Ginji paused, suddenly struck with a genious thought. "If I can get to the Registration room, I might be able to make a copy of the data pad. Not an exact copy, not even a good one. But a decent prototype, with scanner abilities! And then, if I run into Doc, she can give it to you guys while I search for some EMP's! The only problem would be if.....oh....oh yeah...that could screw things up indeed...."

"Right, Ginji, do what you need to do." Crimson said as he turned toward where Cuatela was being assaulted. "I'll take care of this here." Crimson ran forward, and as he did, he unsheathed a katana from a red sheath, and removed his silver autorevolver from his coat. "Go!" Crimson fired three shots from his revolver BAM! BAM! BAM! the first two were aimed toward the tentacles that just threw Cuatela, the third one headed straight for the face of the monster.

"Ho crap! Cautela!" Tenshi scram, dashing towards the machine with the B&-blade on hand. Letting the helmet calculate a strategy, she locked on her attack at the head, jumped over and gave a quick swipe with all her might at it.



"Now I just hope it doesn't explode like the other one..."


Just behind that tentacle-like monster came yet another set of two, some with knife like extensions and looking dangerously at the agents who have penetrated their 'zone'. This wasn't going to be pretty.

>Alert! New foes detected.

"WHAT?!" she snapped, still on the air on course to land, turning her head slightly towards them who had just come rampaging by actually pushing down one of the walls: that was the place where the blade had just stuck minutes ago! How could they do that?!

"Well damm it...."

Cuatela shook his head to clear it and scrambled to his feet. He watched the battle, giving his body a couple seconds to regain strength, then unsheathed his katana and started forward, muttering to himself.

"Gotta get my rifle back....I love my rifle....stupid bots...."

He stalked toward the bots, then lunged forward, slashing at one tentacle, and dove under Crimson's line of fire, grabbing his rifle as he rolled past. As he hopped back onto his feet, he re-sheathed his katana and took several steps back and charging the rifle for rapid fire.

"Stupid bots...gotta teach them not to steal my rifle..."

He took aim at the first bot, pumping several shots into what appeared to be its head, then switched to the other one, but held his fire as Tenshi moved in front of him. He moved out to the side, trying to get a better angle to fire.

Agent Ginji ran back to the Registration room, glancing backwards to make sure everyone else was ok. Apparently the sentry bots had been set to attack any and all targets. As he ran, Ginji pulled out his datapad and pulled up the schematics for Crimson's weapons. He had an idea that might make things a bit easier. Additionally, he ran a scan on the substance he had wiped off his own katana's, eager to learn about it. Finally, he reached his destination. Acting quickly, Ginji placed his Datapad into the EM-Waver and pressed the copy button. Several minuetes passed while the machine tried desperatly to replicate the device out of virtually nothing. Finally, emiting a bit of smoke, the machine gave a barely audible ding, and a sad looking data pad appeared. "Well...this is a let down. It can only send signals and reciever signals...but it'l at least be able to track the thing we're after..." Ginji then looked to the portal, and was not surprised that indeed, all tranportation out of the facility was impossible. Though, transportation in was still achievable with proper clearance. Sighing, Ginji went back to the Waver and loaded the schematics for the EMP grenades. When they were finished, Ginji sat down, opened the schematics for one of Crimsons katana's and scabbord's, and got to work, tweaking them and adding modifications to the design blueprints. "Let's see....add a circuit conduit here...connect a transversal relay to the handle here....install a friction charger to this slot of the sheath....a tiny voltage amplifier goes there....." Ginji paused and looked up, talking out loud..."God I love this job..." he wiped his brow, looked back down and made a few small final adjustments...."Allright...now...all I need is to install an electric capacitor...and Finished!" Ginji walked over to the EM-Waver, placed one of his own katans into the machine, and inserted his datapad with the updated schematics into it's slot. He pushed the Modify button, then pressed the "accept" button twice, verifying that he knew he would not be able to reverse the changes. "Allright....let's hope this works..." Ginji pressed the OK button one final time, and paced the room, waiting for the long modification process to complete itself....

Cuatela continued to pour fire into the group of bots, switching tagets as soon as one started to fall.

"How many of these things are there?!"

Suddenly, the rifle beeped, signaling low power. Cuatela muttered to himself and popped out the spent cartridge before slapping its replacement in. He lifted his rifle once more and began firing.

"This...is not going well."

Already standing a distance away, Cuatela took several more steps back, firing a few more shots before reaching up to polarize his eyepiece. He held his rifle ready, watching Crimson in amazement.

"This....is....insane."

As the heat grew more intense, Cuatela backed up until he was touching the rear wall. As he touched it, he seemed to turn invisible, what seemed to be a natural reaction from his body. Had anyone been looking at him, they would have only seen a pulse rifle hanging in the air, charged and pointed in the general direction of the tentacle-bots.

"Burn!" He screamed at the top of his lungs, as he twisted his body and swung horizontally, the invisible waves of heat turning into a blanket of fire which consumed the bots. Explosions were heard as the bots existence ceased to exist, their outer shells melted, as if they were crying tears of steel. And as soon as the flames engulfed the targets it hand, Crimson removed his left hand off of the blade, and quickly closed his left fist, as if they starved from oxygen the flames disappeared as quickly as they came, leaving only heaps of melted metal in their wake. As he panted Crimson turned to his allies, "You alright?" he asked, the move took a lot out of him, but he was still breathing. "No burns?" he asked as he flicked his nose with his thumb and smirked.
