"Thank you for the fast hunt," she replied, then continuing at her paws. Artemis stopped mid-lick, paw still raised to her mouth, and raised a brow at him. She stared back for awhile, "...What~?" Did she have something on her face? Had she missed a spot.

Tic Tac nodded her to and smiled. "Not a problem at all." When she caught him staring at her, he felt nervous but something kept him front looking away. "I'm sorry." He murmured cleaning his throat. "To tell the truth I think your quiet beautiful, I can't help it." He said a little queitly but then looked down at his paws still slightly embarssed.

Artemis looked down at her own paws at his words, unsure what to do, really. You generally didn't thank someone for a comment like that... She looked over her left shoulder slightly, trying to look anywhere but at him, not wanting him to feel more embarrassed - she could sense in him that he was - and also not wanting to her her own.

Tic Tac hated the awkward silence that fell after h is comment. He didn't mean for her to feel like that when he said that, and he was even more embarrassed at the fact that he couldn't look at her after saying something like that. He sighed then shook his head. "I'm sorry..." He appologized again with a soft sigh escaping his lips. He liked her but he wasn't to sure of her own thoughts of him.

Artemis' head snapped back to him, and she raised a brow, "You don't have to be sorry," she said, pursing her lips as if to punctuate her point. "You shouldn't apologize for saying nice things, hm?"

Tic Tac looked at Artemis and nodded to her. "I-" He paused himself for apologizing again, A soft laugh escaped his throat he shook his head before smiling. "I felt like I offended you, forgive me." He laughed slightly, mainly at himself. He looked at her with a soft smile before looking down at his feet.

Artemis shook her head in an almost comical manner, "No, I'm not sure anyone has ever been offended by kind words, it's just..." She pondered her words a moment, looking up at the sky as if trying to find the right words from her past. "It's just I don't hear many compliments, if any, and especially not from a lion as handsome as yourself," she finished in an almost matter-of-fact tone that made her feel a bit confused at her own intentions.

Tic Tac was caught off guard by the female talking. He didn't felt better at complimenting the female with her complimenting him back. He wasn't complimented that often. He chuckled before smiling softly at the female. "I'm nothing compared to your beauty. He smiled at the female. Her compliment didn't sound as natural but at the same time it didn't sound that bad. It fit her. He smiled at her again before spreading out her wings for a moment then pulling them closer to himself once more.

Artemis shrugged, and trotted around him a bit, "You know, our conversation goes no where when we continually flatter each other, my handsome prince," she said with a gentle chuckle. She then watched his wings and longed just a bit, but shrugged and returned to his front.

Tic Tac chuckled once more at the female. He sped up just a bit to keep up with her. A grin was growing on his face before he nuzzled her and laughed. "Well I think you came up with that on the spot, not a proven fact." He half teased as he bumped into her and then licked her cheek... Wondering how she would react to that. He was hoping so much for a good reaction but he wasn't that sure what he was going to get. He really hoped it was good.

Artemis looked up at him a moment before the blush burned in her cheeks, and she looked away a moment before she suppressed it and nudged him back, nuzzling his shoulder (since she can't reach his cheek to return the lick). His move confused her at first, but she soon realized that after the confusion, it was only glee she felt in response, and it made her a bit giddy.

Tic Tac held his breath after the move he made, biting his lip, until he did feel that response. The feeling of her head nuzzling his shoulder he smiled, it quickly grew across his face and he slowed down just a bit so he was going about the same pace as her. He was too blushing, but just a bit in his cheeks. Hidden by the color in his pelt, that was good. He wasn't that sure what to say, or if he should even say anything. He wasn't that sure at all. He was going to take his chances and stay quiet.

Artemis smiled at her action, and tilted her head downward so if he were to look at her he wouldn't see it. His silence left her silent as well, but it was relaxed and easy, their mutual actions breaking down a wall and leaving their presences enough to fill the gap of conversation.

Tic Tac smiled at her slowing down as they approached a large tree. This was one of his favorite spots. The feeling of the shade on his coat made him feel so good. He looked at her with a soft smile then sat down near the tree. "So... What do you think Artemis?" He asked, he wasn't even that sure of what he was talking about himself. He laughed at himself slightly afer the question. He was interested in what she was thinking, just over all, about him, love... Anything. He wouldn't admit it but he wanted to hear her voice.

Artemis sat next to him, just that close, and looked up through the tree branches to the sky, "What do I think?" she repeated, cocking her head to one side, letting her mind wander where it would at the question. "I think that life is a depressing series of events that We guide but do not control - though some wish they had more control - that is shaped by our experiences and those we meet along the way..." Her voice carried a moment, "But I think that it meets unexpected twists at unexpected times, and this is what love is: one of those turns of events that no one really sees coming, and that completely changes the path that was set before us, and possibly changing the end of our path completely. It's a beautiful thing that Life needs to continue in a way that is not stagnant and the same for everyone."
