Rock Jaw wasn't ready for an attack from the half, yet along knew he was there. The flames were messing with his scent and it was harder to tell where everyone was he was fighting. The flames were quite bright on this wood, Rock Jaw needed to react fast to not suffer from the attack. Having his hand already behind him to grab a gun, Rock Jaw grabbed the Spray Shoota and fired it at the fire lit wood. The spray of small metal pellets stopped it from hitting him, but didn’t' stop him from getting hurt. Pieces of the tree sprayed onto Rock Jaw's skin still on fire, siring his flesh. The Fighting Juice in his body kept the pain at bay, but Rock Jaw's skin was now covered in black scorch lines from the debris of the log.

"Ya stickin big uumie! Ya got mi skin dirty wif awl theyz blak marks, me'm gonig ter smash mi claw inta yer big uumie 'ed an make ya unregonizeabul by eben yer muvva! Den me'm goin' ter rip owt yer 'eart an stomp on it so da big uumie blood sqwirts o' da ground awl liqwidy loike."

Rock Jaw didn't like getting hurt at all or having what he thought was his beautiful skin being hurt either. He was beginning to think this wasn't worth the effort for food.

Wot if dat worm uumie burns da forest down? Meeb godda stop dat at least...

Rock Jaw realized that the fire needed to be contained or it would burn down what had been his home for some time and imagine all the poor critters he could eat being killed by the flames. Not only that, but this group seemed to be special from the other ones he had looted before and even killed. Rock Jaw decided he would like to test them, to see if their strength was Orcish enough have a chance at defeating something that has got in the way of Rock Jaw for five years: The Arch Gate. Raising his claw and using its swiping action to clear the flames in front of him, aiming to charge at the big human or giant, Rock Jaw wasn't sure which because he was too small to be a giant, yet too big to be a human. Well, that didn't matter; he raised his claw and charged, crying out his battle cry.

"Waaagh!"

"Cave ahead, estimated time to second level door is fifteen minutes, barring a fight." The drone said mechanicly. Chris only smiled. It'd only take him seven minutes.
"ERROR! ERROR! Cave not matching current layout settings. Possible change made to basic layout. Re-calculating time to exit door." The drone shouted.
"Damn." Chris muttered.

Andy slumped forward a little and panted, satisfied that his attack did some damage. However, this fiend was still far from dead. Hearing a mighty war cry, he quickly circled back around the ring of flame in hopes of helping to intercept the attack. Fighting his fatigue and sprinting as fast as he could, he glimpsed Rock Jaw charging out of the flames, straight towards Korsu. Andy would never be able to get there in time to help him. Even though Korsu was huge, Rock Jaw was a little bit bigger, and obviously more experienced. He just wished there was something he could do...

Suddenly, the world lurched around him. Everything slowed down, as if the air had turned to molasses, and everything was blurry. It seemed like his mind was being pulled out of his body. Did...did someone cast a curse on me? It couldn't have been Rock Jaw... His thoughts were proven wrong as he zoomed towards Korsu. No, he himself wasn't moving; just his mind. Coming to rest inside Korsu's head, Andy's mind began to sync with his host's. He sensed Korsu, he heard Korsu's thoughts, he was a part of Korsu...he was Korsu. Before long, Korsu appeared even more deadly than before, and there was black smoke pouring out of his eyes, nose, and mouth. It was the same smoke that was coming out of Andy's veins before. At the same time, Andy's body collapsed in a heap, obviously useless.

Rock Jaw was nearly upon his target by now, but he was unaware of what had just happened. Unwillingly, Andy had just executed one of his most potent abilities: Possession.

Aansalath's eyebrowed rose. The samurai had vanished into smoke. A ember floated closer to him, so he gently blew it away from him. He closed his eyes and thought of a place close to the healer. He had a feeling this was a bad idea, as one: she had a shield spell. And two: he was still thirsty. He sighed and dissipated from sight.

He materialized next to Alora, not a hair mussed in the process. He appeared with a hand in his pants pocket and his cane held in the other. He still appeared bored, though, there was a small spark of amusement in his eyes. He took off his top hat to check for ash, and replaced it with a small smile, being only slightly careful not to flash any fang.

Alora watched the battle with big eyes. She closed her eyes and focused her entire mind on her hands to see if a weapon would appear. Some seconds later, she opened them again. Nothing had happened. As i thought. Completely useless. She thought, a bit disappointed. Suddenly, Andy fell to the ground. Alora was afraid he might be hurt, and she was about to run to him, but stopped herself in time. It could be dangerous. The Ork was still there. Black smoke began to ooze out of Korsu's eyes, nose and mouth, and Alora was about to panic. She didn't know what to do, or if she should go and help them. Suddenly, a man appeared next to Alora, out of thin air. She let out a small yell and hopped away, shifting into a fighting stance. "Who are you!?" She asked, her voice a bit squeaky. The man was quite unusually dressed. He was wearing a tuxedo and a cape, and he also had a cane with him. And then there was the top hat. Alora slightly dropped her fighting stance out of pure astonishment.

Aansalath smiled without showing his teeth again. He looked over at her with his deep red eyes, hoping they were dark enough to pass as brown. He inclined his head, touching his hand to the brim of his hat. "Lord Aansalath, my dear lady. Rather interesting battle, yes? I wonder what will happen." He looked over to the Ork again, almost chuckling at the simplicity of entering the group. He looked back at her, "And might I have the name of milady?" he asked with a smooth voice.

Alora looked back and forth between Aansalath and the Ork. She couldn't help but notice that he had beautiful brown, almost red eyes. She blushed a bit at him calling her a 'lady'. "A-Alora..." She stuttered, still slightly looking back and forth between Aansalath and the battle. He chose the worst moment possible to talk to me. And I didn't even see him beside me! She thought nervously. By now, without noticing it herself, she had lost her fighting stance, and was almost only paying attention to the man standing before her. "How did you..." She asked hesitatingly, not sure how to formulate it. "Were you standing there all along?" Alora nodded to the place he had appeared.

Ixpath cursed in Orkish. This Ork was nearing Ghadzghkull age. That wasn't good for them. Suddenly, he noticed the samurai disappear. Hmm... Invisibility or Possession or Teleportation? The eyes flicked towards the figure. It was a vampire, he could tell, but he couldn't afford to start a fight with another enemy, Ork physiology tended towards regeneration. Instead, his hands flapped back into a clawed shape, pointed towards the ork, and spoke one word. "Rglak." A slight distortion in the air, nothing more, until everything burst into flames in a great circle around Alora, himself, and the Undead. Callibretto was already flying upwards, out of the ring, blue fire crackling into existence where wing membrane should be. Suddenly, he started laughing. And laughing. And laughing.

((Alora: Sounded like Flames))

Rock Jaw stopped his charging and took a look towards the man smelling of the earth or the worm man. The big human seemed to be different somehow, like he wasn't the same person, so Rock Jaw felt he could turn his attention to the laughing worm thing.

"Worm smelieing uumie shoudl stopp laughin' or meeb will purson-alee crump yer worms inta da dirt they came outa..."

Rock Jaw stopped for a moment, he smelt something odd and everything seemed to happen at once, but he felt there was a disturbance other then the fire spread.

"Fire!"

Rock Jaw jumped out of the way before a projectile hit him dead on. This projectile was of course from a catapult, the rock was evident of that, but from where?

"We missed the green skin gentlemen, fire at will!"

Alexander had taken precautions as Marquis told him to, but not in the way intended. Alexander had personally gathered a small portion of his war machines from the Arch Gate and used his status as a Reaper in order to transport them from Level 5 to Level 1. He brought with him three catapults, three regiments of troops, and a Arch Walker. This walker machine was built to be extremely fast and carry light weaponry in order to create an offensive to delay enemies, but for Alexander it was an escape vehicle to retreat if the battle went sour. The three catapults fired at once towards the fire, launching boulders that weren't very large compared to the Orc, and they did after all needed to be a size for the catapult engineers to place in the catapult.

"Meeb 'ate uumies..."

Rock Jaw started running in order to dodge the incoming fire from the catapults brought by the human, Alexander. It was always of course Alexander getting into Rock Jaw's business, he hated that human more than any human he ever had the displeasure of knowing their name. It was Alexander who was the cause of Rock Jaw's arm being lost back when he was still just a regiment commander in the jungles awhile back. Hopefully this group of light skins and the worm man could kill Alexander for Rock Jaw; even though Orcs liked to kill their rivals personally, the feud between Rock Jaw and Alexander was quite old.

((Blah Sorry I haven't posted in a while. >>))

Kiba had been following the group into a forest when the group had been attacked. She was going to jump in the fight, but not only did they seem to have it under control, she didn't know if she had any long ranged attacks. There were a lot of people who seemed to be able to use fire. She watched as Andy collapsed to the ground, and a black mist floated out of him and into Korau. That was interesting. The other thing was interesting was when the Vampire appeared out of nowhere. The thing was she could tell he was a Vampire just by the way he smelled. She knew she had never smelled this scent before, but somehow she knew it was Vampire.

The GM watched as all the players fought one of the non-reaper creatures of the game. He hoped it wasn't too high of a level for them. Sorika would be disappointed if all the Players were killed off before they got to her level. Although they seemed rather strong for players on level 1. He just hoped that they wouldn't be able to over power her when the time came to fight them. Then there was the boy in the robotic suit. It seemed he was looking for a way out. That wasn't possible. He had found a door, but letting him go through there would be cheating. The only was through the levels was to beat it, for Players at least.

Aansalath only smiled and shrugged as he said, "As far as I remember Lady Alora." He looked back at her with a deep gaze, "And it is a pleasure to meet you." He looked back towards the battle and back towards the other players. This GM certainly knew how to throw a party, though he would have to ask a few questions. Perhaps sneaking off at night would work.

Interupting his thoughts, he heard the worm-man utter "Fire" in Orkish. He jumped a bit away from the flame that surrounded him. Unlike himself, he let out a quiet hiss as he backed away. He realized the flame, however, was not geared towards himself. He was a "good guy" thus far. He straightened his coat and hat as he regained his composure. He growled softly at himself for over reacting.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too!" Alora said, careful not to stutter. She wasn't used to this kind of formalities, but it was probably better to be polite. She turned her head to look at Ixpath, as he said "Flames". There was a second or so where nothing happened, then suddenly flames burst up before Alora. She shrieked in terror and jumped back, only to notice there was fire all around her. "What in Gods name!?" She yelled. Was it Ixpath that had done this, or was it someone else? "Help!" She cried, not daring to go near the flames. How do I know if the shield protects me against fire? She thought almost panicking. "Ixpath!" She just guessed it was his spell. "A-are these dangerous!?" Alora pointed to the flames, even though she knew Ixpath probably couldn't see her.

"Not as long as the shield remains inbetween you and them. Now, If you excuse me, i have some soldiers to maim." With a tremendous leap that vaulted him over the ring of fire, Callibretto looked down, the blue flame in his eyes focusing on Anaslath.

Around thirty seconds later, a burst of ice from the skies, strangely green, froze solid a soldier who was unlucky enough to stand near Ixpath's landing zone. The next, rather stupid, soldier charged him with a knife in hand. With a sound akin to "For the Swarm!" all the worms surrounded him, with terrible screams emenating from inside. When the worms reformed, only a skeleton remained. "Hmmm. Decisions, decisions. Fear!" At this point, his "Head" tilted back, and anyone who possessed any magic powers or touched to the Neverordered Warp heard a scream so terrible and fear inspiring, that it could possibly cause one's head to explode. Which some of the soldiers heads did. "Bring it on." Several more blue discs popped into place between him and the soldiers.

((In an unrelated note, here's a better song to describe Ixpath.Slaughter the World))
