Nimm's initial reaction was to jump back in surprise as Singe's head fell off. That wasn't something she was expecting, and it did nothin to help that knot in her stomach. She waited as he regenerated, and then repeated teh process with his arms. She was a bit confused as to why he did this, but she didn't ask why. She smiled back at him however when he explained about his explanation.

"Still, sorry just teh same." she smiled, though it faded into confusion as he tossed the Grimoire to the ground. She looked at the book at the moment, and then quickly back up to him as he warned her what would happen when Kain showed up. A mixture of panic, disbelief, and something that looked like like utter saddness crossed her face.

"But you..." Her comment was cut short, as someone else's voice cut in, one she didn't recognize. She turned to look toward the newcomer, only to turn again as he appeared next to Singe. She studied him for now as he spoke to Singe. Was he glowing? maybe it was just teh light reflecting off the armor he was wearing. She brought herself back to attention as he addressed her and introduced himself.

This was Hiro? The same guy that had attacked Kain and had Singe looking for someplace to hide? She considered teh fact that he didn't seem like a threat anymore, and that Singe hadn't panicked before he showed up. She shook his hand and offered a small smile and nodded as Singe corrected him on her name. "Nice to meet you as well Bastion, and thank you for the help."

Nimm looked to Rayvn as she came down, though her comments had Nimm's face a bit red.

He'd pet the big cat and even laugh...which kind of sounded a little strange given the tone and echo of his voice. No way to make it sound good really. He'd then look to the elf and listen to her words, before turning back to look at Singe and Nimm. Judging by Singe's head turning from her and the girl's face lightning up, something was there...and the silence meant it hadn't been spoken of yet. Unlike his brothers, he knew what to do in moments like these. He'd point inside while tapping Moon's a** with his boot before moving to lift Ravyn' over his shoulder, taking her inside the cabin.

"Doomed yourself with that comment, elf. If you're going to force tensions, then ya get to leave them to deal with it of their own accord. Not yours, or anyone's business aside from theirs...so shut up and stick your ear against the window."

---

At Ravyn's words Singe would arch a brow at first, though at the comment of love he'd look to Nimm out of the corner of his eye for a brief moment before turning his head from her. For once, he was glad Bastion was there, given he'd remove the mouthy elf. He'd stand and walk, moving to the very tip of the canyon, his feet dangling over an edge that fell for miles. He'd cross his arms under his head, and with a dusty fall he'd lay back and stare at the sky.

"An immortal loving a mortal is just ignorant of the immortal and selfish of the mortal. I've had to tell myself that at least a thousand times each time I've looked at you, Nimm."

Nimm kept quiet as Rayvn was ushered into teh house by Bastion, though she rolled her eyes as she caught them spying through the windows. She looked as Singe fell back to lay on the ground, tilting her head a bit as he spoke.

She walked over and quietly took a seat next to him, still leaving a comfortable gap though. She pulled her knees up and wrapped her arms around them, resting her chin against her knees. She thought about what he said a moment. "Back before Bastion showed up, you mentioned that once Kain showed up you'd disappear. I must be selfish, cause the first thing I wanted to say to you, was that when we first met, you made a promise to me."
PostPosted: Mon Nov 17, 2008 8:08 pm

"Promises can only be kept so long as we have the ability to keep them. There will come a time when I can't directly protect you, but the two bumbling idiots you've met thanks to me will keep you safe while I can't. I'm not sure if bastion's right or not...but on a simple scale, Kain makes up a hell of a lot more than most of me. It'll all depend on willpower I suppose. No power, no skin, no voice...you can't heal something that has no form to heal in to."

He'd sigh and watch the clouds pass slowly, wondering when it was going to happen, fearing that moment. He wasn't able to live in the moment any longer, but it didn't matter. He'd done what he planned in banning them together and pulling them all in to one spot. Bumbling though they may be, he knew Bastion and Ishado would be all the protection they'd need. Still, he had a small sense of ease given no body parts had suddenly fallen pray to Jashin.

She nodded quietly. "I guess thats the part that confused me before, you keep saying your apart of Kain, but back before, you were two separate people. Not that you aren't now, I meant you both had your own bodies." She explained carefully. She moved a bit so her forehead rested against her knees, something metalic glinted in her pocket and she reached for it, forgetting she'd taken something awhile back. With a smile she moved and handed the chocolate bar over to Singe. "I took this before you raided the counter. I didn't see teh point in giving it to you back before since your pockets were stuffed back then." she smiled.
PostPosted: Mon Nov 17, 2008 8:57 pm

His eyes would drop from the clouds to her, and after a blink of confusion he'd look to the chocolate bars. He hadn't even had a craving lately...truth be told, he'd forgotten all about them. He'd slowly sit up and take the bar from her, but before anything else he'd break the bar in half and toss it back to her while just starring at his own half.

"I haven't been hungry for one of these since...I can't remember. It's kind of said, isn't it? We used to just run around and do as we wanted as I ate these things. Y'know...if you don't want any part of this, I understand. I didn't mean to just force you in to my mess..."

Nimm caught her half. "You go and save my life how many times, get me out of living in a cave, didn't run for the hills when you saw what I could do, stuck with me since we met, and then countless other things you've done. I owe you, and I don't plan on leaving anytime soon." She smiled. "The only thing I'm really worried about now, is the outcome of all this. That and making sure I don't mess anything up."
PostPosted: Tue Nov 18, 2008 12:59 am

"Why are we even here? Sure, Kain's hellbent on destruction...but do we honestly care? This world's provided nothing for us...the humans had to survive off of their own wit."

He'd sigh, taking in her kind words...almost made him smile. Instead, he'd end up on his back once again looking to the clouds. Nothing he was doing seemed to make sense, and it was all hitting him at the worst possible time. He felt himself losing motive...which he soon found to be just fine. He couldn't think of any motive to start him off to get to where he was, but Nimm was his new reason. While he may not care about the world, he really doubted her survival in it's destruction. Once more he'd look to her before smiling, though it was a smile as if saying goodbye. He'd quickly jump to his feet while biting his thumb open, taking in his own blood. He'd then rip his scythe from the ground and move away from Nimm before lopping his right foot off. With a kick spin and a few kicks, the circle and triangle would form again. He'd regenerate his foot, then toss the scythe aside while looking to Nimm.

"I'm gonna do the most damage to em'. I gotta make sure I get some credit here; don't wanna be 'the guy that got absorbed' or anything. When I'm done though, you might wanna skim through that cursed book. Might have some voodoo to keep me alive. If not, well, it's been fun!"

With a genuine smile, he'd once more look to the clouds before clapping his hands together. Kain's blood was now in him...it was in the first place, but so were many others. He needed to single it out to catch him. With that clap, the sky would grow dark, lit only with red lights. It's begin to rain, though only over Singe, and only for a brief second. The rand would fall in the form of holy spears, similar to Longinus, each of which impaling Singe in different areas. Each area would be of significance to Kain, but might look funny. Not like he had human organs to penetrate. These in place, Singe would grin as the spears pierced and began to burn him. The skies would let out a few bellowing roars, and finally several bolts of red lightning would strike the spears. Once they'd disperse, Singe's skin, blood, and overall being would sap away slowly in to one of the long spears piercing him. Simply put, they were absorbing the parts of him that were Kain. During the long and painful process, Singe would only grin and laugh for as long as he could.

Some time later, the spears would disperse, forcing Kain's energy in to new hosts by delivering microscopic blasts of the opposite energy of Kain's molecules to them, assuring Kain would never retrieve the energy...nor easily the energy he'd lose. A dried husk would fall to the ground, alive, but not by much. Nothing visible but various muscle tissue groups, bone, minimal blood that crept from him. And not an ounce of power. He'd figured he'd kamikaze himself to weaken Kain to the point he'd not dare leave his sanctuary for quire some time, for if he did, he'd be in a state worse then Singe's as he still lie in the Circle of Jashin.

Nimm caught the look he gave her as he smiled, and tried to smile back as best she could, but only managed to look sad about what was going to happen. As soon as he was up and creating his circle she had the book open and was busy flipping through it.

"Rayvn, Bastion!" she didn't know teh first thing about what she was doing, and she was hoping Rayvn could at least be moral support for a couple seconds while she grabbed at straws on what to do. She looked up as he mentioned there being something int eh book to help. That helped a bit as she continued scanning every page she could make out. Oddly enough, the pages didn't look full of gibberish this time.

She glanced up as something bright caught her eyes. Was he laughing? She had to close her eyes and force herself to keep looking through the book. "Just give me something I can use!" she finally yelled out of frustration. A few pages flipped and revealed something that may actually work.Hopefully someone in teh group would be able to help though.

"He went out as happy as could be. May nah look like the best death, but to him, n' his mind, usually sick and twisted, he'd done somethin' of love n' nobility. Somethin' to be respected for. He died ta give you more time, Nimm. To allow you ta really think about this...while he remains in that circle, alive n' tortured, Kain will remain tha same no matter where he be."

Ishado would land gracefully on the edge of the cliff, looking the husk of a corpse left behind, clinging to life. This time, Ishado looked a bit more mature, though. His face seemed more defined and his emerald hues seemd to let out a glow. His words were fluid, not once a stutter. His untamed hair seemed to burn like fire as the wind would rush through it. He decorated himself in a robe buttoned down the center, heavy in red with black patterns. His gauntlets would only peek from under the sleeves. Using his greaves, he'd wipe away a bit of the Jashin Circle.

"There. Ain't a damn reason ta let em' suffer now. He may enjoy that sorta thing, n' I don't blame em', but there be a reason that Jashinism is left in Immortal hands. If ya don't heal em', a certain God will drag him ta hell n' drown em' in the River Styx. Doesn't seem fair ta me..."

He'd look back to the cabin, offering a kind smile both to Ravyn and his brother. He'd leave Singe to rot and Nimm to either act or mourn, forcing footprints in to the soil with each crash of his greaves. He'd step off of the cliff and seem to walk on air, forcing ripples of energy beneath his feet with each step, trying to sniff out a temporal distortion, or anything else.

---

He'd slowly move from the cabin and offer his brother a warm smile beneath him helmet before moving over to Singe. He'd shake his head, not because he was disappointed, but because he hadn't bothered to utter any decent last words. Like a wannabe loner, he'd managed to leave his poor girl on a cliffhanger. He'd then look to Nimm, slowly allowing his eyes to set upon the unholy book. This site made him ill, and thus with a twirl of his thick cape he'd make his way to his brother's side, creating the same energy ripples beneath his feet. Singe was far beyond his saving...it was all up to the girls, considering it was obvious his brother couldn't help either. So, instead of waste time or try to make them smile, he'd make himself useful, looking for Kain on the opposite level of Ishado.

Ravyn would flail about upon being picked up by Bastion, and then noticed what he was doing, ears flicked up as she listened, and then eyes would widen and then she smiled. "I see.." She'd then come outside and noticed what Singe was doing, it was a very noble thing to do. She'd smile and then her dark orchid hues would look on Ishado, she was so happy to see him standing there, her eyes almost seemed to sparkle. But, something was a little different. Hee looked....well, mature! She'd listen to his words and nod her head, going over to Nimm and hugging her tight, she'd rub her back, softly and allow Nimm to cry, or scream.
PostPosted: Wed Nov 19, 2008 8:35 pm

Why the hell were Ishado and Bastion acting like nothing could be done? That question circled her mind several times. Course, the more it circled the more selfish she felt for some reason.

"Why are my eyes all blurry?" she thought finally, trying to switch gears as she read teh page. Nimm was crying, though she'd fail to realize it as she scanned the pages that the book was opened too. It wasn't till Rayvn hugged her and forced her to blink she felt the tears. As far as screaming went, that would only happen if Kain either showed up unscathed, which she found to be unluckily, but not impossible, or if she failed at what she had just read up on in the book.

"Rayvn...I think I know how to fix this." she said shakily. "It's tricky, but I think it'll work..."

"You think you know how to fix death? Sure, resurrections occur and things to that extent, but Singe...has no form anymore. He'd nothing to heal; to resurrect. If it were so simple, I'd of done it myself to spare your mortal heart the pain."

Bastion would have looked back to Nimm for a moment to speak to her, then return his attention to his scouting.

---

"It can be dune. If anyone's got a shot n' this sick world a' helpin' em', it's tha girl. Dun be so quick ta assess situations you've not been a part of, lad. A mortal heart's got more power n' any others, so quiet yourself."

Ishado on the other hand would multi-task, talking to his brother while searching about. His older bother's stench was all over the place, through it seemed to cut off right at the canyon...

::Ravyn wouldn't let go of her best friend, she nodded her head, rubbing her back softly, the elf would look at her. "How? What does the book say..I cannot touch it, the book.. is evil" She'd simply say as her dark gaze turned to look at Ishado, a smile formed on her dark lips she was so happy to see him, but things needed to be done first. "What is tricky?"

"He doesn't have a form now, but what if a new one was made, one that was entirely his and no one elses. The only tricky part is whether it will regenerate or not, and if not I can't heal." She pointed to the book, more precisely the circle that was the template for what she was reading about. "it's basically teh same thing Singe used, it just has to be his blood is all, and it doesn't have to be big, just so long as he's touching it."
