"Whoa! Hey, put the bow down before you shoot someone's eye out, kid." Erik casually stepped from behind the tree. "So, do you guys usaually kill first and ask questions never? I'm not too sure, but I don't think that'll win you many friends." Erik was hoping that making small talk might relax them. He certainly didn't need any more enemies.

Atrum bit the inside of his cheek, embarrassed for freaking out so badly. "S-sorry." Putting his weapon back, the dirty blonde swiped a loose strand of hair behind his ear. "Though throwing rocks isn't a good way to make yourself known." The blonde smiled, now knowing the other male was trying to calm him down by making conversation. "I could have shot you." In reality Atrum knew he wouldn't have shot unless he was attacked first, but the kid thought he might as well play along.

((@Ninja Zackeus: It's just part of her personality, shes a fairly humble person. She didn't actually DO anything wrong, but she felt she had made a mistake in running up to them unexpectantly))
Leila beamed a big grin as they were about to head to the town nearby. Of course, that was before a rock came flying out of nowhere in their direction. Leila watched Atrum as he pointed his bow into the distance, and then a man came out from behind some trees. Leila relaxed slightly, but was still no sure whether to trust him, despite him trying to make small talk.
"So exactly why are you sneaking around here throwing rocks at random groups of teenagers?" She said with a bit of sarcasm in her voice, also going along with the attempt at small talk.

Rayne didn't say anything to the boy that was spying on them. She remained quiet. She was more worried if he had heard what the group had been talking about. She had the urge to run. She didn't know if he was a hunter. Rayne had been moving from town to town every few months just so that the hunters wouldn't find her. She made sure of that. She made a new hut in the forest somewhere next to every town she'd stayed in. Rayne started to play with her dark hair. Her gray eyes going from one person to the next. She soon realized that she was getting thirsty. 'I should go hunt soon' Rayne thought.

"I'm not exactly sneaking around, I heard a scream and decided to investigate. I'm trying to get though this forest, but the map I bought just happens to be hopelessly out of date." If anyone had any hope of getting out of here, it was these people. From what he heard, they knew where they were headed. He debated as to wheter or not to reveal how much he had heard. Should he speak? Should he just keep his big mouth shut? Maybe I should talk about those "hunters"..."Would you people happen to be hunters? They've been giving me nothing but headaches for at least a month. Pity really. If they stayed out of my way, they would have lived to see a new dawn... Well, no use crying over dead emenies."

"Hey, anybody that's an enemy of our enemy is our friend," James welcomed Erik with a nod, James still wasn't smiling, but he was never a smiley cheery kind of guy. "You an elemental or some freak?" he asked curious of why Erik was being hunted.

"No, we're not hunters. In fact, we're in the same boat as you, trying to get away from the hunters," Leila said. Inside of her mind, Leila was wondering if they should trust this man or not. Deep down she really did want to believe him, but she still couldn't be too sure. Leila was also curious to know why this man was being hunted.
Leila soon realized that he hadn't mentioned his name to the group. "Would you tell us your name, as well?" She asked in a polite tone.

Erik stood there, until a question from one of the others brought him to his senses."Sorry, my mind was elsewhere. My name is Erik. I'm not an elemental or some kind of freak, but the hunters had been pursuing me. For the last week or so, they had been leaving me alone, but I didn't expect that peace to last. In fact, when I heard the scream, I hoped it was the hunters so I could take them out in one shot." he turned to the one who asked him if he was an elemental. "Do you mind if I ask what an elemental is? The hunters mentioned that a few times." Erik couldn't believe these people were making his job so easy. They already trusted him due to the fact that the hunters hated him, and if he was lucky, then he wouldn't have to reveal how much of their conversation he heard.

"Well, if you're not one, you probably would be better off not knowing." Atrum replied subtly. He didn't want anyone involved that didn't have to be. The dirty blonde pushed his hood over his head and turned toward the city. "I'm going to get my stuff, I'll be back in an hour or so." The boy didn't like how much time had passed, it would be dark long before he reached the city beyond the forest at this point. "You guys can wait here if you want."
Valencia smiled. With her new horse, this mission would be so much easier. The stallion was black and very strong and very fast. "'Atta boy. Take me to the elementals." The female half demon had rushed through the crowds and people in the city, listening and feeling for any signs or clues to the elementals. Valancia quikly pushed past the crowds and chittering people, following the necklaces directioning. Her necklace had led her to this city, and was now taking her back out of it. The forest lay less than a mile ahead, and the huntress was now excited. "They must be in the forest." The half demon spoke quietly to herself. 'So this must be my stop.' Valencia hopped off of her horse and tugged his reigns, commanding him to follow her. "Helloooo? Hellloooo?" The blonde now focused on her little act. She had to seem completely lost and abandoned for this to work. "Is anyone here?" Valancia covered off a small chuckle with a whimper. Gently pushing back her blonde hair and putting on the most innocent face she could muster, Valencia fluttered her eyelashes and let out a whimper. "Oh thank goodness." The blonde sighed in mock relief. She had spotted a small group of teenagers, and her necklace was going crazy. 'hush...' after putting a small spell of silence on her stone, Valencia spoke directly to the group. "Excuse me, but I'm looking for the next town over." The huntress smiled. "Do you have any idea where it might be?"
Atrum frowned. He knew this girl. He had seen her the night before. She was the girl that Mizuki had taken him from. Pulling his hood over his head, the light-boy tapped James. "I don't like her, I think she's trouble." Though Atrum had no proof behind his statement. He had no way to prove she was dangerous... so what else could he do other than tell her to go away. What if she really was lost and needed help getting to the next town. They were going there themselves and it would be rude to turn her away.

James saw the worry in Atrum's eyes, apparently he had reason to believe she was trouble. James looked her up and down, she seemed innocent, but of course looks can be deiciving. He nodded to Atrum and kept a hawkeye on her for the next few minutes, if she did anything funny she'd age 20 years right before their eyes, that was a promise.

Erik felt everyone in the area tense up. Plus, he had seen this woman before. She was one of the few hunters who got away. His hand instinctively went to his sword. If this woman did anything he didn't want, she would be dead on the ground before she even knew what was going on.

Valencia blinked when Erik put a hand on his sword. "Unsheilthing your weapon on a girl you've never met? What an uptight group." It was obvious she wasn't trusted. Things got way too tense way to fast for them not to know who she was. Looks like I'm much popular to put on an act for you all," The half demon frowned, a slight pout on her features. "It's too bad, I think I'm pretty good." Now switching into fight mode, the huntress knew this was a risk, but decided on it anyways. "If you want the details, I'm Valencia, I'm a hunter, and you have now given me a reason to think you are the elementals." Valencia unsheilthed her sword, it was made of reinforced steel, not very strong on its own, but when tweaked a bit with magic, it was the finest metal to use. Darkess formed with it very well. The huntress grinned. "Come out babies! Prove you're worth and you get your pay." Four men landed around her, they had been put on watch of Atrum earlier. "Maam, we wern't payed to fi-" "Silence! Fight or I'll kill you myself." Valencia sighed. Her help was so wimpy. "I'll start with you first." Valencia mentally took aim at Erik. With a jump, she sent a streak of darkness toward his heart, and lunged for his side.

Lonesome looked at the group now being attacked. "I knew I should have left earlier." He muttered as he hovered above the trees. He was about to leave when he heard them mention "hunters" and "elementals" that is when he stopped and listened. When the woman announced she was a hunter Lonesome decided to saty where he was in the air. He got ready to help the "elementals" incase she proved the better of them.

Zack didn't feel like having a big brawl, so he quickly paused her in mid-time leaving her helplessly stranded in the air as he touched each of the elementals and brought them to his speed, "Okay, if we're gonna fight we need a plan, if not let's get out of here," he said confidently. The drain from having this many people in his timestream was immense, but he knew it would be okay for at least awhile, he'd done greater than this before. One day in highschool, he'd been bored so he froze every teacher and allowed students free reign... it wasn't a pretty sight when time resumed, it was a fun day though. Zack stared at each of their faces hope to find an answer to his question, to run or fight, was their decision.

"She's a hunter so if we leave she'll follow us." Atrum started at Valencia who was frozen in time. She looked still as a statue, and it felt like a dream for everything to be frozen this way. The light boy felt a shiver as he reached out at the tendril of darkness. 'That could have been Erik's heart...' Bitinghis lip, Atrum turned back around, and the light around him began to eat at the darkness. The boy couldn't fight very well, all he had was his bow and arrow. He had never been in this kind of trouble before, never had to worry about the welfare of others before, and it scared him. "It doesn't seem right to kill her while she can't fight back." The boy frowned. But when he looked down he got a bad feeling in his gut. Like he had forgotten something. Like they all had forgotten something. "James? James! Her helpers!" Atrum took aim at a man that had taken aim at the older teen. All they knew was that he had frozen their only way of getting paid. Atrum lehis arrow fly, the tip shining with a small amount of light that had helped give it more power and accuracy. It struck him right above the heart, and he fell to the ground. "I think there are othrers."
