"Once you can control it like I can you might be able to do this." the astral Colm pointed to his body which waved, "Creepy huh. But feel the need to be in two places at once, let the feeling go and try to control it this time."

Tala looked at the King warily and then looked back at her body. "Okay."
She took a deep breath and concentrated at being in her body. To feel her skin against Kiro's reassuring strength to provide her with an anchor to make it easier.
And suddenly she could feel his heartbeat against her. It was soothing to feel something so full of life.
Okay, two places at once.....
She completely relaxed, her eyes still closed, and just let go. Suddenly she was back in... where ever she was and was looking at the King.
She smiled. "I did it."

"Good, now watch." Colm didn't even say the last word as an astral person, already back in his body. "Now take a deep breathe and concentrate, remember how it feels to be in your body." The king sat, conserving all the energy he could.

Tala concentrated again, using the heartbeat as her anchor. And just like that, she was back in her body. But she was so drained!
"Mmm..." She said, dazed and holding her head.

"That's all you really need to know, and that this is only temporary, until the war is over." Colm sighed. "I hate fighting... well not fighting but wars yes." the king layed down and projected his mind back to the castle, it was still hot. Freaked, he went back into his own body, nobody would have ever guessed he was gone. "Now for the rest of them." he muttered

Tala nodded, her mouth in a thin line, trying to fight dizziness. She wasn't yet ready to stand on her own.
She hoped that she wasn't too heavy for Kiro or that she was annoying him in anyway. She muttered another sincere, "Sorry".

Colm smiled and then scowlede for the same reason. How cute, and yet so disgusting. The king had made himself cold and distant for a reason, love complicates everything, ruins everything. He sighed, he had to give them something though, at least hey had hearts to give. The vampire moved his hand over where is heart was supposed to be and shrugged.

The ache that usually settled in her chest when she was alone, was absent. Tala was grateful for this. It would be difficult to battle both ache and disorientation.

Colm glared at Tala, Try feeling that way for eighteen thousand years. He sighed and then began to walk around the room.

The King's voice flooded her mind. He was right. But she still didn't have a chance with anyone.
She was from the Fire Nation, just like he was. According to the rest of the world, they were notorious for their tempers, attitudes, violent tendencies, and destructive actions.
She was unwantable. The ache returned again.

Colm smirked, focusing on Tala's thoughts. If i didn't think the wolf thing was utterly repulsive I would think about it... but wolves triumphs over all forms of feelings. To hell with everybody's stereotypes, people from earth are supposed to be hippies but all the ones I've met are down to earth...no pun intended. The king let out a soft chuckle.

Tala, who had finally regained her ability to stand, stood next to Kiro but still kept her hands on his chest to steady her. She looked down at her bootless feet so he couldn't see how mortified she was at how close they were.
"Thanks for catching me," she said quietly.
Fine. She said to the King.

Whatever. Colm got up and began walking to the door. "I'll be outside training, come and get me when they all wake up." The king didn't have a clue where the astral royals were and didn't really care.
