Seamus caught Damian's smirk and shook his head. It wouldn't have been the first time he'd had sarcasm go sailing over his head, prefect or not. He lifted himself off of the stool and, shooting a smoldering smile at Moira, crossed the room to an empty table. He brought his ingredients to himself via magic. And from a cabinet even. Not from anyone else's table. He didn't need to have Damian all over him the first day. Waving his wand again he began filling his, or rather, Moira's cauldron with water and re reading the board for instructions.

Judas exhaled slowly when Seamus walked away. He hadn't even realized that he'd been holding his breath. "He's... Frightening," he muttered to Moira. "I can't believe anyone is actually so abrasive." He gulped and sank down in his seat a little. "And he's in my house, too..." The idea of seeing Seamus sitting in the common room almost made him dizzy.

Nodding as Judas called Seamus abrasive, Addison spoke up. "I agree. The way he asked for Moira's cauldron was just blatantly rude." When Judas expressed concerns about Seamus being in his house, she said, "Oh, try not to worry too much about that...He's not in your year, is he? He might not be able to bother you if he's not."
Smiling reassuringly at Judas, Addison cleared up her work area and began to gather her belongings, ready to embark to her next class when the professor excused the students.

Moira patted Judas' arm. "You look like you'll faint any moment. What've you done to make him so..friendly to you?" She understood about first impressions, she hadn't loved Judas at first, but now she found herself wanting to give a good punch to Seamus' face. And probably it had something to do with him reminding her of Edgar a bit, and how cute she found him with that other boy..Lance? Louis? Louis. Maybe. Either way they were adorable.

"No, he isn't in my year," Judas replied, his nerves unwinding a bit. Perhaps Addison was right, and he wouldn't have to spend too much time ducking around him. He blushed at Moira's question. "I... Er..." He cleared his throat awkwardly, trying to seem dignified. "He asked me to pass him the juice over lunch," he muttered, "and I suppose he made me nervous enough that I didn't hand it to him." He closed his eyes and sighed. "And now my name is Juicy. Oh my."

Addison's eyes widened at Judas' reason for being so nervous. She covered her mouth in an attempt to smother a giggle forming at her lips, but failed. She laughed for a few moments before composing herself. "I'm sorry, Judas, that's not funny at all. Just--the name 'Juicy'...now that is sort of funny." Addison gave Judas a sympathetic look, trying to convey that she understood his situation--from what she had seen, Seamus was quite intimidating--and that she also found no real humor in the prospect that Seamus might attempt to bully Judas.
Changing her look to an encouraging smile, Addison reached over and gave Judas a quick hug. "Don't worry about it. And if he does give you any trouble, I'll jinx him," she said with a small smirk.

Moira raised a hand to her lips to supress a smile. Juicy was kind of cute. Although it was rude of him to call Judas that, simply for not passing him juice. Was he not familiar with the Accio spell? "Well...it could be worse? I suppose it could be worse. I mean, you have us!" She gave Judas a comforting smile. She wasn't going to let him be pushed around. "When do you think they'll let us out of here?"

Almost flinging her wand across the room on accident, Morgan had to bite her lip to keep from laughing at what she over heard from Judas' conversation. "Juicy Judas. Has a ring to it really." Things sure would be interesting in the common room this year. With her elbow resting on the potions bench, the Slytherin rested her chin on the back of her pale hand. Not caring that she was ease dropping, she answered Moira's question; half to herself. "As it seems to be a very casual class, I reckon it's up to us when we can leave." And she got up to do just that. "See you around." With a small wave over her shoulder, Morgan left the dungeon.

After Seamus sat down in his own seat, Damian made sure to find a spot that kept Seamus in view, but as far away as possible. Looking up at the board, he read the assignment. 'Hmm...Elixir to Induce Euphoria...sounds interesting. Sounds amusing. I wonder if I can keep some for later. I'll have to ask Professor Krouso.' he thought.
Writing down the instructions, he proceeded to begin. Since he was very meticulous, he got out all the ingredients first. If Anna were here right now, she would tell him that he was being a perfectionist, but that title never really bothered him. He loved doing things as correctly and as efficiently as possible.
As the instructions said, he added 1 small cup of boiling water to his cauldron and a Bouncer Plant leaf. As the mixture was turning green, Damian took that time to crush the moonstone. When he had enough of it crushed and the potion had finished changing color, he began to slowly add the moonstone, making sure to stir it clockwise. He was particularly careful about the direction of stirring. Last year he'd made the mistake of accidently stirring it the wrong way and the potion started shooting fireworks for some ungodly reason. Luckily, the professor had allowed him to redo that assignment on the grounds that he would never do that again. That and clean the potions lab from the mess.
Once all the moonstone had been stirred in, he uncorked the Essence of Euphoria and added the amount necessary. It slowly changed to the bright sunny yellow color that the instructions said it would. After he finished strirring it seventeen times, he filled a sea-glass flask with the potion, corked it, wrote his name on it, and walked up to Professor Krouso. Presenting it to the Professor, he said, "I'm finished, Professor Krouso. May I ask you a question, though?"

Seamus began grinding his stone, looking up as Morgan left. He didn't know her very well, but from what he'd heard, she was a lot of fun. His type of fun that is. He began following the directions slowly, making sure not to drop all the dust in at once. Having done that, he began stirring slowly, ensuring it was clockwise. He didn't want to get covered in potion. He'd only made a mistake once, and that was all the time it took for him to learn his lesson. His eyebrows hadn't grown back for some time after that. Thank God I was born a wizard. One quick spell was all I needed. He brushed a hand over his face, remembering.

Judas managed a laugh at the "Juicy" bit. "I-I suppose you're right, it is rather funny." His blush darkened. "It just sounds so..." He gave a shy laugh. "Don't guys usually call pretty girls 'juicy'?" he asked quietly. He hugged Addison back and smiled at her and Moira. "Thank you both so much," he said honestly. He picked up his bag. "If you want to leave, I'll go with you."

Moira grinned and said "Judas darling, you are SO pretty!" Reaching under her stool she grabbed her bookbag and began picking up her things from the desk. A quill, a hair tie, half a pencil. She had a habit of spreading her things out. Organized chaos was sometimes her way. Although, it never seemed to manifest itself in her bedroom. It was always impeccable. Looking back to Judas she asked, "Wanna go?"

Seamus decided it was time to add the Essence of Euphoria. He uncorked the bottle and carefully added the right amount. The potion changed to a sunny yellow, though not as bright as the other students. Frowning, he added a bit more. The potion then changed to a brighter yellow, closer to what he had been seeing than it had previously. Satisfied, he began counting his stirs, careful not to overdo it. As he rounded out his 17, he grabbed the sea glass bottle, and filled it nearly to the brim. He jammed a cork in the top and set it on the table.

"Sure. I'm done with everything, so I can go wherever you wish." Judas smiled. He cast one last glance at Seamus. "Where should we go?"

Moira watched Judas as his eyes went to Seamus, across the room. "Well, we could go down to the lake. Or we could grab some food. Any where we are Seamus-less. it's up to you." She laughed, and ran a hand through her red curls, trying to shake the tension of the class loose from her body.
