"Hmm.." she paused and scratched her chin to show she was thinking hard. "But killing you again sounds just so cruel." She finally rolled off of him and lay sprawled out on the ground next to him.

"Ah, I see," he said, staying spread out on the ground. His eyes wandered about the ceiling for a while before turning to rest on Lilith. A drop of water fell from the ceiling and dripped right on his nose, making him wrinkle it and sit up to look out his makeshift doorway. The small puddle that had begun to form in the dip just outside the ridge his home sat on was beginning to expand and make a small river that flowed down the rest of the hill. Little ripples fogging the water's surface dug deeper into the river, the rain pelting it harder. Gossimer watched the river, illuminated by a lightning flash, and commented, "I think the storm's getting worse again."

Lilith had completely forgotten the whole reason they were here...what had brought them together like this. The storm. She shivered as she looked at what he had been staring at. And indeed, he appeared to be right. Lilith whimpered softly as the lightening struck. She began to wonder how long they would be stuck here. She didn't mind the company..she enjoyed spending time with Gossimer. But she was worried that her family might get worried about her. She had never been out alone for so long.
"Do you think....will it stay like this all night?" She brushed her paw down his forearm and looked at him.

Gossimer frowned, placing a reassuring paw over hers, "I don't think it will, but you're welcome to stay the night here if it does." He paused, seeing her worried eyes. "Unless there are Namrah who might come looking for you?" he asked, knowing that if he had a freind who might be lost out in a storm like this he would go after them, too.

Lilith looked at their paws and smiled, feeling better. "We could have a sleep over," she said excitedly. "But... someone might come looking. I'm not sure." She looked at the floor. She kind of liked the idea of staying with Gossimer for the night. They could have lots of fun. "Well, I think I'll stay here. If it doesn't clear up." She looked up at him and smiled.

"We could," Gossimer smiled back, glad her worries were lessened. He lazily twitched an ear, wondering, "Is there any way we can let your family know your safe so that they don't worry?" He was actually really looking forward to having a sleepover, but he'd feel better if he knew there wasn't anyone getting lost out in the storm.

Lilith thought hard, but she wasn't sure of any way to tell them. If she had one of those 'cell' thingies, then she could easily just call. But having no pockets, she had never worried about getting one. "Well if I had one of those phone things humans use, then I could call. But I don't have one of those."

"Hmmm..." Gossimer tilted his head to the side for a moment before hopping over to rummage in his pile of belongings. His tail flicked a little as he had to dig deeper into the pile, his head and up to his shoulders disappearing among the jumble of cloth, boxed foodstuff, and various other trinkets he had collected from under Neko's bed. He fell back out of the pile and looked up at Lilith, a small black object with buttons on it dangling from his mouth, "Is this like one of those phone things?"

Lilith watched with curiosity as he disappeared. When he finally emerged, she grinned seeing what he had in his mouth. She walked to him and stood over him. "Yes! That's a phone. You're amazing!" She bent down and nuzzled his head. "Where did you get all this stuff?"
