Hale burried his face into Sojo's shirt to hide his tears; he didn't like seeing people die or even attempt it. He didn't know why, but it always brought up a bad feeling as though there was something horrible in his past that he couldn't remember. "Good, because if you did, I would never forgive you for it," he muttered, wiping his eyes, "God, you're such a handful," he sighed.

"Come on," Hale said, getting up and pulling Sojo to his feet feebily, "We're going to go and get some breakfast and you should probably be on you way home after that, since I still need to unpack and settle myself in," he said, his hands resting on his hips. "Breakfast is on me this time," he said, turning and heading back towards the house to get cleaned up.

"Oh..okay," Sojo said following behind Hale, once they entered his house though Sojo merely waited in the kitchen for the other. Cleaning up the little spots of tea from earlier that morning. Time had finally began rolling again.

Hale returned fifteen minutes later dressed in unusual garments, rather, unusual to that area; a midnight blue, light summer silk kimono. "Ahh~" he sighed as he entered the kitchen, tying back his hair, "I feel so much more comfortable in this attire," he said with a relieved smile. "Alright, let's go, I saw a place yesterday that looked good, and they had a breakfast menu, so they should be open by now," he said as he led Sojo to the front door, holding it open for the god as they left.
Some time later, the two could be found sitting in a nice small resturant, cups of tea in front of them to start, "I assume you do eat," he said, unsure if Sojo did or not; after all, he did say that he didn't sleep, so Hale had no idea what to expect from the man.

"I eat, I do cook all the time you know.." he suggested smiling at Hale before taking up the menu himself. Picking something off the menu he showed the waiter and looked to Hale as she waited for him to decide.

"Oh? You cook?" he asked, picking something from the menu as well and then turning back to Sojo as the waiter left them. "I cook as well, though I don't think I'm all that good at it," he said with a dismissive wave. "The truth is, I don't even know when I learned to cook, or read, or write," he said, looking as though he were in deep thought.

"That's odd, but don't worry, maybe one of these days?" he asked waiting for the waiter to call. Placing the glass of water back on the table that had arrived he smiled, feeling slightly in a better mood.

"I can't be sure," Hale said, looking out the window sadly, "I've been a Host since I remember waking up, everything else before that is totally blank except for things like speech, and skills, and preferences," he explained, turning and looking up at the waiter as they brought their plates of food. Thanking the waiter, Hale dug into his breakfast; two belgian style waffles, eggs, bacon, sasuage, and homestyle fries. He was beyond hungry of course.

Sojo nibbled at the small strawberry french toast dish topped with powdered sugar and some cream. Taking a bite he felt the energy tingly through him instantly and reacting to the dryness in his mouth he took a drink of the water. "You know many people around here go to the host place..."

Hale nodded, "It's popular enough from what I hear," he said, not actually having been to the new club yet. "I'm just worried about having to date some ugly, hairy, fat, sailor," he said quietly, "Though I'm quite popular with the ladies, even if I don't want to be," he chuckled.

"I would date you..." mumbled Sojo as he took a bite of his breakfast. The mid-summers day brought out happiness in the town. Children ran the streets and people walked about happily with their lives. The sun glinted, not to hot, not to bright. Shaking the glass of water Sojo took a sip smiling at Hale before walking over to him. A lot of people had been looking at them, since Sojo wasn't someone seen in the day either.
Taking Hale's chin he kissed him on the lips softly. "Will you date me?"

Hale flushed red, "I thought I already was," he said said, looking up at Sojo's infinite stormy eyes. "I would be careful though, once I start work, people will become jealous if they see you with me like this," he pointed out. "This is why I tend to not venture from my home too often," he added.

"Well you are now, and I don't care." Sojo said smiling "They can be jealous all they want..." Holding Hale's chin he smiled and kissed him this time but with a bit of tongue, the people around them just stared in awe at what was going on.

Hale flushed red, where he had come from, a kiss between two people was not a public thing, "S-s-sojo-san..." he stuttered, hiding his face a little, "th-that a little embarassing," he murmured softly, waving down a waitress so that he could pay the bill.
