Callista smiled faintly. "Lots of us are dark. All four of my sisters are. My brother even is too. Oh, and there's another male who's dark too. I'm the only girl in my family that isn't black in color." She walked closer to Valzar, restraining herself from hugging him. Instead she stuck a hoof out on his leg. "Does your father have any other children, other than you and your sister?"

Valzar gave a half smile, "Several, there's my one full blooded brother, then four other brothers who are older than I am and two that are younger..."

"Most of them live with us. In fact after Rowena and her children moved in, she's the mother of my three younger siblings, everyone lives together except thee of my brothers."

They're intertwined so much with each other's souls that they can't be apart for very long." She smiled weakly. "Daddy says that I'll be one of those one day."

"Well, um...do you want to live like a drow? Only being around for 'offspring'?" Callista was standing now. She couldn't see why anyone would willing live that way. But Valzar seemed to be very bound to his traditions.
