Kon laughed as he watched Gabe. He smiled though as he watched Layna. "I hope you like it Layna... I can tell Gabe does." Kon said. he walked in the kitchen and get a wet rag to wipe Gabe's face off when he was done. He looked over and saw Shenai licking mac and cheese off her face.

Layna laughed quietly, watching as Gabriel squirmed beneath the rag, hating being wiped off. "He hates being clean." She said quietly, wiping her own mouth with the back of her hand. She kept the blanket curled tightly around herself, though she wasn't exactly the most embarrassable person.

Razu had zoned out searching for his own animal compainions. Razu found that they were beyond the city limits hunting like young pups wich they were in their own right. Steffon was only a teenage wolf just about old enough to be called an adult while Duke had just reached adult hood.
'So this is where you disappeared to. I was wondering. Beware of Ceon you two because he's aparantly still alive and not very happy with me. I don't want you hurt because of me.'
Steffon and Duke didn't verbly respond because they were too busy stalking a butterfly. But they did give off a vague understanding of Razu.
Razu sat watching the two have fun feeling slightly envious but then the smell of food brought Razu back with loud grumble.
Razu looked over at Layna and everyone else eating and watching Gabe have fun.
Razu stood up abruptly and headed towards the kitchen. He snags a cold pizza and heats it up. Once down he takes it and goes back to the others in his room. Stepping on a peice of Macaroni he says sternly,"Gabe either you or Kon is gonna have to pick this mess up. If I were you I'd make Kon do it."

"What?!! Why me?!" yelled Kon. He cleaned up the glub of macoroni." You are so lucky you're a good friend." Kon mumbled as he threw the macoroni away. "Hey Razu where is Duke and steffon?" Kon asked sitting back down.

Layna blinked and looked to Razu with a apologetic expression upon her face. "He doesn't mean to be like that. But he's never actually eaten something like this." She said quietly, licking the juice from the steak off her fingers. "We haven't really eaten a good meal in a while." Gabriel took the moment to stare at Razu, before he lobbed a piece of macaroni at him, giggling.

Razu bent low to catch the noodle in his mouth before bowing saying ,"Thank-you very much! I'm here for as long as Layna is!" He looked over at Layna grinning,"Hey don't worry about it. That's what Kon is here for. Besides he's being punished.
He flashed an evil playful grin at Kon before answering his question,"They are being the youngsters they are and chasing butterflies and cute little bunny rabbits.They remind me of cats."

Layna smiled meekly, though it had not near the strength as it would have had a day, or even two days ago. She felt odd to be happy when it felt like her heart was being torn to shreds by one unexpected thing after another. She pressed her hands to her sides, blinking in a dazed state, the smile still on her lips.
Gabriel giggled, picking at the pasta with his fingers before he ate them. He felt so happy to see everyone smiling and laughing. Not like before...Who was the one who attacked Mama? She was crying...Gabriel didn't like it when his mother cried.

Razu picked up a slice of pizza and laid the rest down on his desk. He crouched in front of Gabe and asked,"No hand clapping for me? I performed a trick for you!"

Gabriel blinked his grey eyes at Razu before he burst out giggling, his small hands smacking against the other as he clapped.

Layna laughed quietly and gently leaned over her son to place her palm hesitantly on Razu's cheek. He had been kind to the both of them, helping, caring, being both anchor and boat. "I have to thank you somehow...for everything you've done."

Razu looked up at her smiled softly,"I'm being thanked every time I see you smiling and near me."
He mentally asked Shenai to take Kon out. He waited as she did so. The door shut behind and the room absent of Shenai and Kon Razu took a deep breath,"Listen Layna...I want to get this out before everything blows up in my face like it normally does...Layna...I love you."

Layna swallowed, her eyes wide, but for some reason, unsurprised. She shivered, her cheeks warm. She had really known Razu quite a long time, and hearing it...hearing it from him so suddenly, it left breathless. "I-I...." She leaned down and gently touched her lips to his forehead, evasive and unsure.

Razu's eyes shined,"Thank-you for not being repulsed. You don't have to answer...I just wanted it off my chest. Like I said things tend to blow up in face...a lot."

Layna sighed so softly, it was near inaudible. "Whatever happens soon...I think...it is my fault....I'm scared...and..." She couldn't voice her concern for her son. It felt like something unreal, a nightmare come true. "I'm so so sorry..." She whispered, her voice dropping into a soft whimper.
