"We ready to go towards or... away from that thing? Or something?"
Lahren had taken to watching the melee over with the robot while he waited, but now there was a chance of them actually doing something instead of just sitting around in the open, because doing that was generally something bad.

"Everybody out! This place is about to go up in flames!"
Quickly getting to his feet, he runs immediately back toward the path he came from, his arms moving quickly like he was a track runner on the 100 meter sprint, his gun still in hand, his long coat and white scarf flowing backwards, his white teeth showing shock, and his feet moving pretty fast, thanks to, once again, the power of psychic energy. He would eventually go leaping out and run directly for the same cover that the news crew and two mercenaries had went to. Ducking, he would wait for the inevitable, peeking over the top of his concrete cover with shades about to be lit up.
Moving his left hand over head, he goes to work with creating a temporary shield to aid in protecting him and his company. Hopefully Athan got out there in time, too.

Around the same time, an explosion rocked the city, emanating from the upper levels of the Palace Dome. Flames shot out of the windows of the great golden dome, and the ground shook throughout the city.

And then the big bang happened, from the Palace dome, loud, and hard enough to shake the entire city. Lahren stumbled over, and then glanced around, wide-eyed. "Oh, s**t. What was that?"

Well this wasn't good. Things were going to go boom in a moment. He felt sorry for Athan and his sword, but he did what he had to. He grabbed Athan, and if Athan held on enough the sword would be dragged along, and Accelerated for the second time in a short while. Dragging Athan he wasn't moving nearly as quickly as he would have alone, but he wasn't going to let the fellow warrior die an explody death like that.
As it was, they were going to get his by the explosion still, he wasn't going to move that quickly dragging Athan along. But once they'd at least gotten out of the building Allen dropped the Accelerate state, already feeling the strain from using it with so much weight, and tried to get away quickly. And, as he did last time there was firey death, Allen brought his wings around both him and Athan. This was going to hurt.
Almost as an afterthought, Allen recalled his blade, it disappearing from the robot and reappearing in his hand.

Ok, it was GTFO time.
Rockets went up through the roof, and what comes up must go down. "We need to get the hell out of here." He said, immediately running for the giant gaping hole in the wall that the robot tore as it ran in.
He couldn't even try to TK the rockets out of the way because he couldn't see them through the roof, even if he could, raining shrapnel down from the sky onto everyone outside was not the best idea.
So it was with great haste that Gambion came running like hell out of the building.

Then he hears and turns around toward the southeast, seeing an explosion go off at the upper parts of one of the domes. Pulling out his map quickly, he goes to work in locating what that dome was, figuring out it's the....
"That's the Palace Dome!" One of the locations he had decided before this event to go to in terms of investigating. Quickly putting his map back into his coat, he keeps his left hand raised, watching Athan be dragged out by one of the people who helped fight the robot. Whew, that was a worry off his mind. Now, he waits for the big blast at their location.

The robot was down and somewhere else another explosion. At least that was proof things where happening in this city, though its debatable weather or not it was better off as a ghost town or not. Mozz climbed down the lichen wall leaping the final distance and ran to his comrades. So far the day had been fairly exciting and the explosion was nagging at Mozz’s curiosity.
He called out from the street level as he walked away form the building “Hey, is anyone wounded?”

As the shots hit home, the gunpod folded back up to it's usual appearance then faded away, energy rising from it then swirling towards the red metal cylinders encasing her forearms.
HoshiTe was already at a run...albeit a slow, heavy run. Each of the cylinders seemed to move as if they were rubber in the center, bouncing up and down with each movement, severely slowing her natural movement speed. As she passed the security chief, she started in a metallic voice, Initiating recovery operations.
The mecha girl would run forward, trying to reach Allen and Athan in time to help protect them, the StarHand system already generating the beginnings of a shield. It was likely HoshiTe wouldn't make it in time though.

"No," he wheezed, sitting up.
His head was still spinning, though now he had two reasons for it, and his leg hurt like hell, but it was manageable. He blinked more, casting his eyes off to try and figure out where the entire rest of the group had gotten to.
"It won't kill me... I don't want voodoo doing who knows what in me."
After more blinking and gasping, he handed the bourbon ba-
Suddenly the ground jarred and his hand slipped, dropping him on his back again, and the bourbon clattered to the ground. Hardly harmed since it hardly fell. It was just good luck he'd closed it again already.

Fierach "Bryant's Expedition, stand the ******** down"] "I told them that a bit ago." Joseph piped up from the background, "It's becoming abundantly clear that we're in over our heads." Joseph began hammering at his keypad, it was time to make an order. One medibot, one macrocharge equiped droid, things were getting ******** at this point. The delivery would take a bit, but luckly not too long, and would be dropped right in Joseph's area. The next order of bidness: Equip gun. Off from the backpack the M79 came and over the shoulder it went. Then the CEO snapped open the gun, removed the sponge round and switched it up with an actual explosive round from his bandolier. "Have you patched up in a jiffy kid," Joseph shouted out to Kael before turning to his wrist, "Allen, you ok?" Quote: AE1000 Grav Droid - A staple robot for A~E that resembles a flying disk with a single camera “eye”. The underside is mounted with two arms, one with a simple grabber claw and the other with a electric multitool. They are manoeuvrable but easily destroyed, but for complex robotics they’re fairly cheap. Instead of the two arms the underside can be mounted with other items at cost. The droids float around Joseph until he imputs a command into the Nav-Wrist. $45, 000 | Small | No requirement | 1hrMacrocharge: The droid can be outfitted with a change more powerful than the microcharges that Joseph carries. It should be noted that due to an unexpected defect with the Nav-Wrist, Joseph can only set a timed charge and not trigger an instant explosion. The minimum fuse time is 30 seconds, and cannot be reset. This destroys the droid. + $25, 000 | Small | Grav Droid Ordered | + 0.5hrTime till arrival: 1.5hr. Medibot AE3 - The Medibot is a floating multipurpose medical platform. It contains four charges of N4 Stitchless sealant, a foam that disinfects and holds wounds closed. This is applied by an applicator arm, which pinches the wound closed and applies the foam. The second function is a system that attaches to ones arm, monitoring heartbeat, blood pressure, and hooks into the bloodstream intravenously. The platform is equip with a single charge of 4BH Solution, developed to stabilise those in critical condition. While built on the same grav-tec that the Grav Droids are based on, the added bulk makes them quite a bit slower. $85, 000 | Small | No requirement | 2hrTime till arrival: 2 hr. Total cost: $155, 000Remaining Bank: $1, 845, 000

"I happen to agree, actually." she was smiling as she said it, and leaned forward to give him a hand up when the earth jarred and Sam fell forward. She flung her arms out to brace the fall, but the center of her (aka her torso) fell forward smacking her right into Kael, even as her arms braced her arms from the side. At least it'd keep her from conking heads with him. She'd look down at him and grin, their faces inches apart. "So how do you feel about a woman on top?" Trying to lighten the mood the only way she really knew other than being a nervous mess. Charles had been teaching her innuendo and he'd made a comment like that before when she'd tackled him. Her hair making a curtain, and although not protective, shielding in it's own manner. Aka hiding her blush as she realized the ramifications of her words.

When the explosion happened, Aiolos was running like hell. Away from said explosion.
He ran over to Mozz, "Okay, what the hell happened there?"

Bryant was torn between running to help his comrades, and knowing that the s**t was about to go down. So he decided that running was the better part of valor, nothing much he could do at the moment. So he ran back the way he came, ducking into a convenient alley way, although not the same as Kael and Sam.

A few moments later, right about just a tad after the robot had exploded, Kitten Hats had arrived.
The explosion had made quite the ruckus underground.
Spooky propped up the manhole cover a few inches and peered outside. He had already turned the night vision in his monocular off a while ago, and so the light really didn't blind him outright. Silently the soldier looked around, trying to keep a low profile all the while, he noticed several people down range. He was about to climb out and usher the others up the ladder, when a trio of exhaust trails shot up into the sky. <******** would mean only one thing.
"Missiles. Down. Now."
In a completely nonchalant voice.
Spooky released the manhole, and let go of his footing on the ladder. Sliding all the way to the bottom, a slam signaled the cover closing overhead. He then promptly laid on his stomach and slid his hands over his head.
