L heard the commotion in her room and headed over there. "I have been too harsh on her," he murmured. "Perhaps she is venting her anger...?"
((this might be a cool [and possibly humorous] scene since he can't see the shinigami [ex.: what if Remu made funny faces behind L's back when he's in the room? haha]))

Kitty was walking to the kitchen but she saw that there were a good deal of people there so she veered away from the room and started walking around, listening to her music and munching on twizzlers. She walked by Thorn's room and jumped at hearing Thorn yelling inside. She just stood there wondering what she was yelling about when a question popped in her head. why am i so easily scared? she shook her head a bit then knocked on the door, "Thorn? You ok?"

L saw Kitty walk near Thorn's door and immediately went into stealth-mode. Close against the wall, yet completely hidden in the shadows, he listened to their conversation.

At not getting an answer Kitty looked under her door and saw Thorn's feet in a defensive stance. She stood back up and knocked on the door a bit more, then she realized that Thorn might be talking to Remu so she said "i'm coming in now ok?" she tried the door but it was locked. Annoyed and not wanting to walk over to the kitchen to get a butter knife she took off one of her bracelets and tried to unlock the door, butter knifes work best but with some effort her bracelet works too.

Both Thorn and Remu stopped as soon as they heard kitty at the door.
"Kitty it's okay I'll unlock the door." She said quickly before her friend attempted a break-in. Thorn unlocked the door and smiled at her friend.
"What's up?"

Kitty stood up and put her bracelet back on when Thorn said she was going to unlock the door. "aw i wanted to unlock the door, it's fun. Well, i heard you yelling and i was wondering if your alright?...is it Remu?"

Thorn put a finger to her lips. "Don't say that out loud! Come on in."
She let kitty in and sat on the bed. Remu looked at the girl and then at Thorn.
"You told her about me?"
Thorn looked at the shinigami and laughed. "Of course I told her! You didn't think I'd keep such a big secret did you?"
Remu laughed. "You do realise that to her you're talking to thin air don't you?"

Kitty entered the room and sat down in a chair. She looked around the room and saw no one and she jumped bit when Thorn laughed but she realized that she must be talking to Remu.

Thorn looked at kitty and realised how confused she was.
"Oh! Sorry about that kitty I forgot I was the only one who could see her." Thorn pointed at Remu. "She's standing right there. Hey Remu? Is there any way for her to see you?"
"Yeah... I just hope she doesn't scream." Remu said as she pulled out a thin black notebook. It had something written on it, but Thorn didn't manage to read it because Remu slapped kitty over the head with it and then quickly put it away in a small white bag around her waist.

Kitty looked were Thorn pointed and blinked a bit. "Ow" she said when Remu hit her then yelped in terror and fell backwards off her chair involuntary. She stood back up and rightened her chair and stared at Remu with wide eyes. "So that's what you look like...." she said with a shaky voice.

Thorn slapped a hand to her forehead. "Remu! I said make her able to see you not try to knock her out! Sorry kitty. Yeah she's a bit scary looking at first glance isn't she?"
"Hey!"
"Well you are!" Thorn laughed.

Kitty calmed herself down then sat down again "wow, this is a change from my boring life" she looked at Remu and smiled "you can't believe how badly i wanna poke you right now..."

Remu looked amused and a little scared at the same time. Thorn on the other hand was just busy laughing her head off.
A little while later after some joking around, Thorn decided to finally ask Remu why she came in the first place.
"You didn't answer my question earlier. What are you doing here?"
Rem paused. Something seemed to suddenly hold her back from telling the truth.
"You... may not believe this but... we're related."
