Seta just stood there this was strange an attack on him with no real reason" there must be something else your not telling us" he tried to be calm unlike Arai

Terrence pinched the bridge of his nose. "And why would I?" He asked Arai. "The moment he found out my mother was pregnant he up and left. He abandoned his wife and his unborn child. If he did that why would he even have any interest when his son got older? Maybe to think that his older son would be of some use? Please." Terrence said blinking.
He said all of this but on the inside it did hurt him. He knew about his father longer before he was 6 he found a picture of him when he was 5 and always wondered who was this man. The only men he knew well were his Grandfather and his 'dad' the man who his mother married afterwards and raised him. It was that one faithful day that b*****d actually came. Terrence was playing at the local playground when a man approuched him and picked him up and playfully tossed and caught him. He hadn't changed from the image and Terrence had mentioned he looked like the man from the picture, his momma's picture that he found in the up up room, attic.
His mother was not pleased to see him at all and they had a calm convosation that started out pleasant but it turned angry and entered the red zone near evening.
His biological father. Really had no interest in his son...other than the fact he could use him as a trump card. It wasn't until Terrence was 12 did he finally drop the subject of his 'other daddy' and realised that is was not that man who disowned him. It was Terrence himself who disown the man who abandoned him. He did not see that man as a father at all, even with half of his chromosome number, in his mindset he had the man who raised him as his real father.
But he worried nevertheless constantly looking over his shoulder to make sure that man did not ruin his mother's happy life. And that was the reason why he kept the letter that man wrote to him a 2months ago a secret.

Arai's eyes narrowed, fixated on Terrence, he placed the rubber end of the cane against Terrence's throat and pressed down just enough for Terrence to feel the pressure.
"I'll just wait until you tell me everything," Arai said calmly but darkly.

"Getting answers," Arai said coldly, "This b*****d wont tell us what we need to know unless we make him!"
Arai kept one hand on his cane and took his other hand and grabbed Seta's wrist.

Seta looked at him" yes but threating him might not work for the fact that you have this damn thing to his wind pipe" seta pulled his hand from arai's" why do you hide information from us Terrance we are here as friends we want to help you"

Yuriko grabbed Arai's arm, "Please Arai, violence wont get you anywhere." She looked down, "Did either of you ever think that maybe Terrance wasn't the real target? That he was used as bait? Think of how many people with high status came to his aid? What if the real target is one of us?"
Yuriko's mind had been racing with a lot of these questions. She knew that both Ryuu and Arai had high status in the underground. Things were getting so confusing for her. She couldn't help but slump to the floor and cry.

Arai dropped his cane and knelt next to Yuriko, he place one finger on her cheek to catch a tear.
"I'm sorry, Yuriko," his voice was much softer than when he was talking to Terrence, "I guess I should have thought about that earlier. Ryuu and I are just as much to blame, the two of us are sons of two rival yakuza families. To my family I am a disposable dog, and Ryuu is an unruly heir to his family. Either of us could have been a target, either to eliminate us or to test us."
Arai stood up at this epiphany and walked out of the room into the hallway.

Seta kneeled down they never though of it that way he looked up at Terrance" I'm sorry" he paused" I'm sorry to both of you we belived he would have the answers but we might be wrong" he pulled out his handkerchief and handed it to her" i must say he does fancy you"

Yuriko looked up at Seta, she took the handkerchief and whipped her eyes. "Fancy?" she said looking at him with a confused look, she wasn't sure if he was talking about Arai, or not. It seemed odd to her being fancied by anyone.

he smiled his hand coming up to block his mouth as he began to laugh" yes Fancy" he thought for a moment" I think he has feelings for you but is afraid to show them" he explained" his attitude changed almost imediatly after you began to cry" he explained" and when you came up to him during the halloween ball when he was angered by that reporter he seemed to of calmed down some"

Terrence pushed his head back as far as his pillowed allowed and gulped as Arai pressed against his throat. He stared down at it and turned his eyes and glared at Arai. What more did that yakuza child need from him?
Speaking of targets. He turned his head away from everyone. Ouran. What about his parents? His uncle, aunt and his little cousin? Where they alright? There was no mistaking that if anyone would be the main target it would be that Man. He bit his lip.
"Arai." He said slowly. "If I tell you who I think is the main target, will you check on the rest of my family and see if they're alright?" he asked slowly.

"Why don't you tell me, and then Seta there calls your family," Arai grumbled through the curtain.

"I won't have it any other way. I want you to check on them." He said sternly.
He took a breath. He could feel himself sinking back deeper back inside his body.
"hn...." He sank a little lower into the pillows. "The real target is may biological father. Thomas Rivers..." He muttered. "I suspect the one who wants to get him is a rival family since....since..." And with that last word Terrence fell back to sleep. Back to his uneasy sleep.
Don fiddled with something in his hands. "Terry. Terry. Terry." he muttered under his breath as he slid under his covers and went to sleep.

Yuriko got up from the floor and smoothed back Terrance's hair after he fell asleep. "Try to sleep well," She whispered. She handed back Seta's handkerchief, "Thank you Seta. Try to get some rest as well."
She pulled the curtain aside and just smiled at Arai as she passed him. She turned back to Arai before exiting the infirmary, "Arai, stay safe; and good night." She closed the door behind herself and left for home.
