"I'm here!" A soldier came up to the first that had spotted a clone to aid him. He knew that his Jo wielding buddy had taken some hard blows and would be shoulder to shoulder with him till the end. Taking the low, the soldier without a scratch swept at Aya's feet while the heavily wounded soldier took the high to crash his Jo upon Aya's head.

Aya's brow furrowed as the first soldier she attacked did not fall. Biting down the inside of her lip, her blue eyes scanned the entire battlefield taking in the movement of the upcoming attacks. Some soldiers were pairing up and others were going at it alone. Kana had managed to send one soldier to his knees and it did not look like he was going to get up anytime soon. Kana's clones were keeping several soldiers occupied, while Aya's clones kept a few of them busy. Swallowing hard, her blue eyes came back to her battle against the tougher soldier, who now had a second soldier to back him up. Aya knew that no soldiers had gone after the bunshin right next to her, so in return that bunshin attacked the soldiers as they were attacking Aya. She knew the bunshin wouldn't be next to her in time to protect her from the attack, but she knew the soldier probably wouldn't have time to block the attack.
While she had gracefully avoided the double teamed attacked, her other bunshins were not so lucky. One had almost made it away from the slashing of an Aikuichi, but it was just a little hair that needed to disrupt the chakra flow of the bunshin. Returning to the mucky swamp water in which they came from, Aya was out two from three. She knew that Kana would most likely be ready to move onto the next step of the L.M.F.A.O attack soon, but she would wait for him to throw the bomb when he was ready. She knew it was coming since they both had been able to take out one soldier a piece.

While attacking one of the many girls with pale blue hair, the leading soldier had no time to react to the oncoming attacks by what was one of her clones. Just one small hit was all that was needed to send this man to the ground on his back, letting his Jo roll away from his fingers.

Kana could feel with both hits an internal cracking of organs and bone on the raw recruit. Soon after the monstrously potent attacks the Rice country soldier fell dead to the combination of rubble and lush green grass beneath his own feet. The young man didn't have a moment to spare on celebrating his victory over the inexperienced warrior since there were nine more feisty opponents that ached for the auburn haired shinobi's blood. In a flash of furious attempted vengeance for his fallen comrade the other recruit flailed his club in hopes that it would somehow by some miracle land a blow on the shinobi with extreme blunt force. Easily the Shimagakurian sidestepped these cumbersome attacks and launched himself back through the pairings of two towards Aya with his nearest Bunshin at his side. The other two Bunshins started to laugh historically to the point of drooling and crying whilst walking towards their opponents, swiftly they were eliminated with combined attacks and transformed into a small haze that sank low to the ground.

Kana saw that Aya had handled one of the soldiers with ease and was on the offensive with one of her Bunshins. Closing in on her he slipped his pale fingers into one of the compartments upon his belt, pulling out a spherical object that he quickly lobbed to the ground to create a huge burst of smoke in the surrounding area. In the cover of the obstruction he grasped his partners hand to help guide her through the smoke but also quickly attempted to escape the clearing and return to the trees and brush for hiding purposes. With he and his clone a few feet apart they lied to the ground, the murky watery mud nearly touching Kana's lips. Realizing that his clone wasn't hidden well enough Kana let the copy fade into smog along the ground rather than jeopardize Aya's or his own safety.

Aya knew it was coming and it did. The smoke bomb light up and spread out across the area quickly to help cover their tracks. She felt Kana's hand grasp hers and fully gave her trust to him as he led her through the smoke and back into the jungle swamp. She kept her blue eyes focused on the ground, so she wouldn't trip in their sprint away from the group. "They're fast," Aya whispered to Kana before releasing his hand and running her way up the trunk of a tree. The army's skills with weapons weren't very expertise, but their quickness and ability to dodge oncoming attacks was rather skilled for a low-leveled army. Aya took her spot up in the tree for now. The next step of their plan was all Kana. The girl would have to sit silently by and let her single clone distract the guards to give Kana a moment to work his genjutsu on the remaining eight.
With her peripheral vision, she kept a pin marked on Kana while her focused gaze fell upon all eight soldiers, making sure she knew where they were and where they were headed as Kana used his genjutsu on them. The clone that stayed behind stood right on the outskirts of the area Kana and Aya had ran too. It stood there with its water body for only a moment before pulling out the kitsune mask that was a replica of what Kana and Aya had made during the festival earlier that year. Slowly, the clone put it on its face before returning to a pile of water, a technique that Aya would hope could cast some superstition or intimidation among the group of soldiers in order to give the two just a sliver more of a upper hand.

Once the dust cleared, the soldiers were in a frenzy as to where the two went. "Did they head back into the ruins?" one called out look behind them and not to the forest.

Kana heard Aya's quick note as they scurried off the battlefield, keeping t in mind as he hid silently. His partners little show of intimidation bought him a little time to set up the next part of their plan, his fingers intertwining to create many different hand seals. Finally after a few seconds of finger twisting he held the ram seal in front of his chest. Chakra radiated throughout his fingertips as he cast his magic across the soldiers. His ears could pick up what they were bumbling about and understood that they were to split into groups of two, which might turn out to become an advantage to the shinobi. As the soldiers entered the forest Kana instantly changed the backdrop behind them so that after only a few steps the clearing and Orochi gates were no longer visible. It appeared to be entangled trees and vines and that overgrown into each other in the damp and dense swamp. Next it was Aya's turn, and he knew that this would probably be nothing more than a walk in the park for the sneaky kunoichi. Kana felt almost utterly exposed where he hid, and wished that he had followed his partner up high into the tree tops. Around each group Kana created a thick dense forest so that it seemed the other soldiers were no where to be found and out of yelling distance.

Demonic Illusion: False Surroundings Technique [Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu]
This technique is a genjutsu that not only transforms nearby objects by effecting the user's sight, but causes the user's sense of direction to become distorted. The user uses this technique to lose and confuse the enemy from a distance, tiring them out as they move along. The user must be hidden in order to use this technique successfully. This technique can also be helpful when luring someone into a trap.

As the Genjutsu began to work, Aya received balcony seats to the change of scenery. Kana worked so well with his genjutsu that it made Aya smile. The soldiers below would be even more separated from one another. She had heard them call for a tight sweep, which meant the groups of two needed to stay within sight of one another. Their plan was flawed as the groups of two would be isolated alone as long as Kana remained hidden and unharmed. The girl noticed that Kana's hiding place would be discovered by the two soldiers closest to him, so Aya made sure to drop down on the two below him first. From branches in the mossy tangled trees, Aya dropped down quietly, hitting the soft spongy ground without a sound. Her feet only took to large sprinting steps before she was right on top of the two soldiers nearest to Kana. Silently with her last step, she flipped up into the air. This flip wasn't one to get her momentum going for a copeira attack, but and strong downfall to pin the soldier carrying the aikuichi to the ground.
The girl had been a little low on chakra and needed to use a certain technique to gain some back in order to make a few more clones. Like a vampire and a salty virgin, Aya swooped down to bring all her force on the single man and hit him to the ground, which would hopefully distract the other from going after Kana and focusing on getting her off of his fellow soldier. She also cupped her hand around the man's mouth so that he would not be able to cry out as she sucked the energy and life from him.

Before he could cry out or knew what was even happening, the soldier was pinned to the ground. His body met the wet ground and sent a chill through his body. Then he realized that it wasn't a chill that was going through his body but something else. Slowly, he felt like he could feel the life being drained out of him. Underneath whatever was atop of him, he could barely even struggled underneath the secured tackle. Not even being able to cry out for help, he was stuck against the ground.

The attack on his friend had been so quiet, that soldier hadn't even heard it coming or even hear it happen. As he was walking along, his eyes spotted the opponent immediately. Rushing at him with his Jo held out, he was sure that this was the real one and not another trick! Stricking with all his force, he swung his Jo out at the boy, aiming to hit him in the head with a powerful blow. As he did this, he thought that his companion would be right next to him backing him up. "Juno!" the soldier yelled as his eyes connected with his friend and the girl atop of him, glowing slightly in a very strange way. He then rushed at the girl, hoping to knock her off with a blow from his Jo.

As a scream echoed through the forest and made it to the ears of the other soldiers, they began to turn and look for their comrades, but none were to be found since they were securely trapped in Kana's Genjutsu.

Aya held the soldier tightly not letting him move in the slightest bit as the chakra left her body to take from his. Underneath her, she could feel the soldier's struggles grow weaker and weaker until there was nothing more to take. She had managed to regain a lot of chakra thanks to that soldier. As she was letting go of his limp body, the other soldier had finally noticed what was going on and turned around after he had attacked Kana. Aya guessed that she had been too stealthy with her attack in order to take the spotlight off of Kana's poor hiding place. They both had their strong and weak suits. Kana's strength was Genjutsu and Taijutsu, where Aya's was Ninjutsu and Stealth. She only wished that she had spent less time using her technique on the soldier in order to stop the attack on Kana, so that he could keep up his technique. As the soldier came at her, Aya attempted to tumble backwards from her sitting position near the ground.
However, Aya's legs were trapped around the opponent she had just taken down. The Jo came crashing down on her upper shoulder with a painful crack. The girl winced slightly, but the wound wouldn't be that bad since it was only a Jo hitting her. At worst, Aya would have a large bruise. After she was hit by the attack, Aya rolled backwards into the brush and began moving around crouched low to the ground in order to lose herself in the swamp's surroundings, so the soldier wouldn't be able to spot her again. She would hope for the same attack on this soldier that she had done on the last, hoping that it would be just as successful.

Kana watched with a devilish smile as his partner swooped down from the treetops to attack her prey with hawk like precision, pinning him to the boggy surface and sucking the chakra from his vanes. Perhaps while he was snickering to himself he should have been paying closer attention to the other soldier as he had spotted him and was continuing to charge angrily towards the shinobi as if he were a bull aggravated by the sight of Kana's red hair and attire. Quickly the young man thought of a plan and put it to action. Using the chakra he was already channeling to his hands for the Genjutsu he would abandon the technique and quickly dodge the attack with the simple yet effective Kawarimi technique. Within a split second the boy was gone and replaced by a dripping wet log rotten to the core, splattering swamp water and splintering decaying wood in the vicinity from the critically strong attack. Now that his Genjutsu was inactive the other members of the group would be able to detect the duo once again, so he hoped to make light work of the foolish soldier that slashed at him with the Jo. Now was his time to strike, when the soldier had no clue where the red headed one had fled. His fist tensed as he prepared for another close quarters bout with one of the Rice countries soldiers. Launching from his back foot he swiftly climbed the trunk of a tree, ascending to the messy canopy above like his partner had only a few moments before. Lunging from branch to branch Kana advanced on his target with a one track mind. From above through the branches he could see his partner being attacked by the brute, but knew Aya was a tough little cookie that could take as much if not more pain than she could dish out. Immediately after the Jo made contact with his partner Kana furiously dove from the old tree, his arm cocked back and ready to smash into the victims eye. His attack landed with catastrophic power precisely where he had planned it too. Gently the shinobi landed beside the man after the punch, and continued into another attack. Crouching a bit the young man jetted out his leg towards the soldiers torso in an attempt to finish him off if he wasn't already dead.
