-Gabby snaps out of it, and punches down another thug who was trying to get back up on his feet. Gabrielle smiles and catches up to Xena-
Alright, then. Apology accepted. But I'm keeping you to your word about that promise.
-Gabrielle puts her sais back on her boots and sees Xena distressed.-
What wrong, Xena?
..Don't tell me that the prospect of buying me dinner is really that terrible.

Xena looked at Gabrielle, at her Chakram, and back at Gabrielle.
"My- my Charkram!" She pointed it out to her friend.
"I'm sorry Gabrielle, but I'm going to have to give you a raincheck on that dinner. We have to get my chakram."
Xena didn't wait for a reply and started heading towards the docks.
"I don't understand... I've never lost control of it before..." She mumbled to herself as she walked over the knocked out and dead thugs.

-Gabrielle crosses her arms and squints her eyes at Xena while trying not to lose her temper.-
No, it's ok Xena. I understand. Your chakram.
-Gabrielle forces a chuckle as Xena darts off towards the harbor-
That's real funny.
-Gabrielle mumbles to herself angrily as she follows Xena, who is trying to convince the captain of another ship to let them on.-

Xena sighed to herself silently as she argued with the Captian of the ship, trying to convince them to let them on and fallow the other ship. Today was really not going her way, she was already planning on buying dinner and getting a room at an Inn before she promised Gabrielle those things to make it up to her for not listening and now, instead, she had to go chasing her Chakram, on a boat with an angry and soon to be sea sick Gabrielle. Nope, this couldn't get any better... She thought as she gave the Captian the look and turned her sword in her palm.
"Alrighty, alrighty..." The captian said throwing his arms up in the air. "You can use my ship, but you're luckee my wifeys been sayin she's gonna feed me to the fishes if ain't come home and keep her company... " He drew a breath. "But I want some dinars... and you two are gonna hav'ta take good care of my crew... feed them! and..." He raised a sleazy eyebrow at Xena and than at Gabrielle. "Anythin else they might need..eh."
Xena gave him a cold look and handed him a pouch containing all their dinars, as she walked onto the boat with Gabrielle fallowing she growled. "I'm not making any promises."

Unseen by the bard and the warrior, a cloaked figure stood at the end of the dock. The stranger watched as the woman and her lighter partner managed to make it onto a sea vessel. The hood of her cloak hid the vicious smirk that appeared on the feminine face as she watched the battling bard and warrior princess set sail. Once they were far enough away, she pulled back the hood of her cloak, revealing fair blonde hair and a face identical to Gabrielle's.
"Goodbye, Mother," she said to the air in a low voice, her smirk quickly replaced with a scowl as she spoke the words. Saying no more, she turned on her heels and walked away from the sea. Soon she was leaving the too-peaceful-for-her-tastes town and heading for the cave that she had reawakened in.

"Have patience, Ares. He's on his way," Hope said with a chuckle as she scanned the village. She smirked when she caught sight of the army waiting outside. "You've done well, God of War. Father was right to accept your help," she complimented him before scanning the crowds once more. "Hm... There's your man,"she told him, nodding in the direction of a dark haired man walking towards them.
"Daughter of Dahak... It is good to see that you returned safely," Darius told her with a bow before taking in the god standing next to her. "And Ares... it is good to see that you have joined our cause," he said, pounding his fist to his armored chest in greeting.

it culd use some polishin. ninja well...for now these armys are yours! an yur gunna need a sword that wuld show that! 3nodding
*i hold up teh sword. it gets a black aura an fire flys inteh it from all over deh village. i float teh sword back inteh his sheath*
ther yuu go 3nodding that sword shuld now be able teh boil skin once it hits 3nodding enjoy.

Hope chuckled when she saw that Darius seemed to stand up taller when Ares made the comment about his height.
"Darius can get the job done, Ares," she told the God of War as she watched him hand the new sword to the commander. The warrior's eyes seemed to light up at the sight of the weapon. "Xena and mother won't be around to ruin things this time either. They'll have their own problems to worry about." Hope smirked when she thought of what her mother and that warrior were about to face.

"Oh don't worry. Your precious Xena will be just fine," Hope assured him, patting him on the hand before directing her attention back to Darius. "Don't screw things up. The price of failure won't be enjoyable," she warned the commander. She then turned back to Ares and dragged a finger down his chest. "I'm sure you'll like the plans I have for that warrior you're so obsessed with."

"I'll let you know in due time, Ares," Hope told the God of War before she pulled her head away from him and looked over at Darius. "Go. Collect as many innocents as you can and when you feel as if you have enough, bring them here," she ordered the man. Darius nodded and bowed to his two masters before running to meet his new army. Hope turned to face the God of War once more. "Let's go. I'll give you information in a more... private... place," she assured him with a smirk.
