He studied the sword for a moment then nodded to her.
"Not too bad. Try that technique against me." said Shibuki as he performed the technique as well.
dEx prepared herself and lunged at him. Shibuki brought his water sword up to strike her. She used hers to block the technique and then she threw a kick at his leg. The hit didn't knock him down, but it did cause him to loose his balance for a moment. She brought her sword away and tried to strike him. At the last moment he got his sword up to block her attack.
"I guess Kirisame wasn't wasting my time after all. Are you interested in learning another water technique?" asked Shibuki as the water sword disappeared in his hands. dEx's sword disappeared as well and she nodded to Shibuki.

"Okay, this technique is called Tornado of Water, which I think is pretty self-explanatory." said Shibuki.
dEx nodded to him as Shadow walked over to he side. She wondered if this was the technique that she saw him working on when she first arrived here. Shibuki pulled out another scroll and tossed it to her. He watched as she unrolled it and looked it over. After studying the information in the scroll for a few moments she rolled it back up and returned it to Shibuki.
"Now watch me demonstrate the technique for you once and then you can get to work on it." said Shibuki.

Shibuki knew that she had some potential and talent using water skills since she picked up the Sword of Draining skill so quickly. However, this technique required quite a bit more chakra control so he was curious to see how she would fare with this technique. dEx knew that she had open up her tenketsu and let her chakra flow around her in order for it to use the water effectively. Shadow watched her as she began to concentrate carefully on her chakra. Then she released it so that it flowed around her body so that she could control the water in order to create the attack.

She turned to look back at Shibiki who was nodding to her.
"That wasn't bad for your first attempt. I am actually impressed that your formed the column of water so easily. Now when you focus your chakra into the water you need to focus some of it to create the spinning motion of the column that will give you the tornado effect." explained Shibuki.
dEx thought about his advice for a moment and then she nodded to him. She had not thought about concentrating on rotating the water along with forming it. dEx knew that she would have to use more chakra and maintain more focus in order to successfully learn this technique.

She had come to this village on her own to prove to herself that she could train hard without the help of her friends and family. Her goal was to become as strong as she could before returning home so that she would make everyone proud. Before leaving the village she didn't know much about the techniques used by the shinobi in the Hidden Rain Village, but she suspected that they were quite powerful. Now she knew that she was correct in her assumption. Hopefully, with hard work she could learn this powerful techniques and put them to work when she returned home. She wanted to be able to pass the next Chunnin Exam with ease.

dEx was very thankful that the Hokage had been supportive of her taking this trip by herself to train. When she returned she would resume her life as a genin and work on completing missions until it was time for the exam. Now it was time to get back to her training. She carefully released her chakra so that it flowed around her. Then she quickly performed the hand seals as she kept her concentration on the water.
"Tornado of Water!" she called out.

dEx and Shadow watched hopefully as a large column of water began to rise up in front of them. dEx smiled as she saw that the column was spinning like a furious tornado. This technique reminded her very much of the Piercing Fang technique. Then she kept her focus on the water and used her chakra to target a nearby tree with the attack. The top of the column went high up into the air and then came out towards the targeted tree. Shadow barked in encouragement as dEx saw that the column was now coming down at a high speed towards the tree. It hit the mark perfectly and Shibuki smiled as the tree was crushed.
"You're better than I though." said Shibuki as he walked over to dEx.

There was a slight noise off in the distance. Then Shibuki, dEx and Shadow all turned to see someone approaching them slowly.
"Kagari! What are YOU doing here?" called out Shibuki in an annoyed tone.
"I was watching your training. You're pretty strong kid. Why are you wasting your time learning from Shibuki?!" called out the stranger as he looked at dEx.
Shadow whined a bit at the comment. dEx looked carefully at the stranger and then back to see Shibuki's reaction to Kagari's rudeness.

From the look of utter disgust and annoyance on Shibuki's face she was fairly certain that his pride wouldn't allow him to continue training her. Her best bet would be to thank Shibuki respectfully and then see what this new guy could teach her. She turned and bowed to Shibuki.
"Thank you very much for training me Shibuki-sensei." said dEx while she bowed.
Shibuki's face seemed to show less digust and he nodded to her. Then dEx and Shadow walked over to Kagari who lead them away along the shorline to find a new place to train.
"Good choice kid. Now you can learn some real techniques." said Kagari with a laugh.

((I had to finish posting at one time because my mom is yelling at me to let her use the phone so I need to finish before I get kicked off again))

After they got to a good open area near the waterside they stopped and Kagari turned to face dEx and Shadow.
"Now I can show you some real techniques. Oboro told me about you so I stopped by to watch your training with Shibuki. I must say that I was impressed to see you picking up his techniques so quickly. I think you would enjoy some of the skills that I know even more, particularly if you liked Oboro's techniques." said Kagari.
dEx watched the strange shinobi who had both of his eyes covered closely.

dEx nodded and watched the rain ninja closely. He formed the hand seals for her to watch. Then she stopped him before he could move on.
"What is that first seal? It looks kind of like a ram, yet it seems different." asked dEx a bit confused.
"Oh, this is what I call the support ram. It is easier to go from this to the tiger seal and it works well for this technique." explained Kagari.
dEx nodded to him. Okay, so support ram and tiger, she could remember these hand seals easily enough.

"So, as you can see these clones aren't able to really do anything for you in the way of attacking. However, they are a bit harder for your average shinobi to detect as a fake so they make a nice diversion. Go ahead and give it a try." said Kagari.
Shadow sat back down and prepared to watch dEx work on the technique. She nodded to Kagari as she began to prepare her chakra. Once she was ready she performed the hand seals, support ram and tiger.
"Haze Clone Technique!" called out dEx.

The clone came back at him and hit him with a strong kick while he was off guard. Kagari stumbled backwards while he smiled at the real dEx.
"I didn't see you create the shadow clone. Nice trick." said Kagari as he then looked back at dEx's shadow clone.
Shadow hit dEx's hand with his nose. She looked down at him and he was wagging his tail and he barked slightly.
"Thanks Shadow." said dEx as she acknowledged his congratulations on tricking Kagari.
Then Kagari threw a strong punch right into the unsuspecting clone and it disappeared.
