*Apollo blinks at kaiori and chuckles.* Ah, my little bird I can never guess what you'll do next. *He stands and kisses her cheek.* May this little one be with you when I can't. I have some matters to tend to so take care kitten. *He walks out and closes the door softly. The wolf pup yawns. " Cat ?.... me Cat !?..cat.." The pup continues to mutter until he falls asleep in her lap.*

*kaiori sighs and hugs the wolf close, she rubs her cheek on the top of the wolfs head* I hope I can make them happy here and stop the Clan from starting anymore wars..there are so many young demons here..they would loose if they were ever attacked again....I hope I can protect them Cat.. *she mutters and curls up asleep, hoping for a better tomorrow*

*Cat had wiggled out of kitten's arms long ago and had sat there waiting for her to get up and play, far too long for his taste. He wags his tail and with his face right infront of hers he starts to yell in her mind. " Kitten ! ! " A small voice begs. " Kitten ! up ! ..up ! up ! " The small wolf starts to bounce on the bed next to her, he had picked up his name for kai from Apollo it seems.*

*kaiori groans slightly at the voice in her head, she tries to muffle it out with a pillow, but such things didn't work when the voice was in your head, she slowly opens her eyes* hello Cat *she yawns and pets the pup on the head as she sits up*

*The pup continues to bounce and wag his tail as his small words fill her head." up ?.... can play now ? Big dog didn't want kitten up fast.." The pup continues to ramble on, he was new to words but loved to use them.*

*The little wolf grins from pointy ear to pointy ear. He yips and starts to talk again " play catch ! " This might sound confusing to most since the pup had no hands but that was not the catch he was thinking of. Before she could say anyhting or ask anything the wolf cub was rushing out of the room and skidding down the halls.*

*kaiori grumbles slightly with a small smile and pulls on a white silk robe before starting down the hall after Cat, she couldn't help but laugh at the name he had picked for Apollo as she chases after the cub*

* The cub turns around to give kai a smart @$$ look, but forgets to stop running and slides into the large gold skirt of the Queen. The wolf caught the glare of the Queen and with a yelp scampers behind Kitten. The Queen slowly turns her glare to kai.* What do you think you are doing ?! Running down the halls after some creature ?! And just look at what you are wearing ! Do you want the people of this house to think you are some immodest lady of the night ! Dashing down the halls like you are in your night garments ! *She snaps out her insults like arrows from a bow, each sharp and on the mark.*

*kaiori blushes a deep red from head to toe* s-sorry mum *she gently picks up the pup and looks back at the queen with a small smile* but your son did give me this "creature" and I just thought I would let him out for a run..*she felt like a deer in the headlights and wasn't sure what to say, how was she to talk to the Queen again ? was it a bow and the leave ? or was she to wait until the Queen left, her mind was full of too many new rules*

*The Queen looked enraged at the back-talk from her future daughter. With two quick steps she was close enough and with one swift flick of her hand she had slapped kai on the cheek with a crack that echoed in the halls.* Next time hold your tongue child. *She spits coldly and walks back down the hall.* *Cat whimpers and snuggles into Kitten. " Bear is angry ? " He asks softly.*

*kaiori gasps as she is hit... but as always she just took the hit.. her years of being a slave kicked in and she stood there, as still as stone, until the Queen was out of sight...tears form in the corners of her eyes but she just rocks the cub and walks back to her room* yes..but it's best not to call the Queen a bear...

*The pup nuzzles her cheek and almost has a look like a pout. " But she is a bear.. " He mutters softly slowly falling asleep. He was just a puppy after all and needed a lot of sleep.*

*kaiori laughs lightly as she cries, she sets the pup down and sits infront of a mirror and desk, she gently dabs her eyes with a cloth and places a finger on her cheek, a small spark of her light blue healing magic fades into her skin, she didn't want to tell Apollo later why her cheek was black and blue..she stares at herself in the mirror..no matter how hard she tried she didn't have...well the right ...stuff ? to rule such a powerful place..she was afraid..but for Apollo.. she hid it deep inside.. in small pearl box in her mind that she never opened..ever..* the wedding...is so close now..*she muses out loud before pulling on the dark cape she uses to walk around town without the notice of others*
