Chesh likes to lead people in circles, figuratively and literally. The Cat enjoys speaking enigmatically and using words such as "perhaps" and "maybe" in conjunction with "but then again", rarely giving a straight answer to anything. Chesh's speech patterns and mannerisms are also known to be quite learned and philosophical.
Of course, Chesh still very much a cat, so it isn't uncommon to find The Cat acting in a highly aloof and uncaring manner.
Generally, Chesh has a strong sense of right and wrong, and as such uses unknown powers in aiding the heroes of the Oasis in defending the area from evil.
Chesh rarely speaks of things pertaining to itself, such as history, home, family, even gender. The Cat prefers to be as unknown as possible, so encounters are often kept brief.
Deep down, The Cat is actually very effeminate and kind, guarding the buried personality by the whimsical manner to hide the scar tissue inflicted by an overbearing father. This kindness shows in the gentle nudges often given to others in need of help with their problems.
