"I can see why. Your Daora is quite impressive." David said, returning the complement.

David smirked. "Oh, then we are taking wagers? Aside from the fact that you know I fight only to better myself, why would you think I would have any possible reason for joining you? I'm not a simple sword for hire." David responded. Now this was most interesting. What possible use could Ulquiorra possibly have for him? Not long before, he was looking down upon him, denoting him as completely inferior. Why the sudden change of heart?

David raised an eyebrow. "And why exactly must I listen to you?" He replied. That was one thing he probably wouldn't be able to stomach, if he had to join their side. Ulquiorra being so damn bossy.

David slid his right foot behind his left, so his body rotated 90 degrees. Ulquiorra would miss completely, his fingers shotting toward the ground.

"Angelic Assault." David muttered. He blew open both reserves in his arms, releasing a huge amount of spiritual energy. The increase palpable, much like it had been earlier with the pressure and fuzziness, only it was much greater.

David's blades and arms began to glow, huge amounts of energy infused into them. Even touching the aura that peeled off of them could be deadly.

David began to slash at Ulquiorra, his blades moving at an incredible rate. Thunder rolled throughout the room, as the blades attacked at over 1000 attacks in a second. Not just that, but each time they would hit Ulquiorra, some of the spirtual energy in the blades would explode, causing huge physical harm. It would also be near impossible to defend, as when it was blocked, the blades would already be at another place, attacking again.

If Ulquiorra thought that was the extent of David's abilities up close, he was wrong. While David was slashing, it was leaving small points of energy around Ulquiorra, which now took the opportunity to all conent to each other. This created a huge net of energy around Ulquiorra, which then shrank. Not only was the net intensely hot, but it would be very difficult to dodge.

David then sent a high speed thrust through one of the holes in the net. The tip of it glowed a strange blue. This was highly concentrated energy, much like a Cero, only on a blade. If it touched Ulquiorra, due to it being attached to the sword, it would be buried inside Ulquiorra, and would explode. Not just that, but, while it was on the blade, it would sharpen the blade, to the point where it would be able to cut anything and everything, including Ulquiorra.

David brought his other claymore up, as Ulquiorra's hand shot out of the vortex. The entire edge of this blade was glowing an eerie blue. The blade was completely vertical, parallel to David. As the Tsuga shot out, it would his the edge of this blade, creating a small cut in the energy attack. This wasn't enough though. David widened the spiritual energy, so that it would take on a more triangular fashion. This spread the Tsuga out and around him. David was pushed back by the attack nonetheless, but this worked to his advantage. It put him outside of Ulquiorra's limiter. As soon as he was out of the limiter, David muttered "Spirit Doom." The remaining energy of the Tsuga was actually compressed, turning it into a tiny beam. This further concentrated the attack, and made it more powerful. But, this was not to help Ulquiorra. The remaining Tsuga then began to explode, something much like David's Spirit Spike, sending a chain of explosions down down the concentrated beam. With Ulquiorra's own attack concentrated, then exploded, the amount of power would most likely be devastating. Even with his armor, and the Alchemist's Armor, David was still blown back, both of his armors cracking significantly. They both healed up in mere milliseconds.

David's eyes widened slightly, at surprise at the amount of raw energy Ulquiorra had. It was amazing, and never before had David been so happy. He grinned behind his helmet.

Indeed, David would have to release all of his energy, and he did. David's energy began to do what it usually did, giving that odd static feeling, and the strange pressure. Everything vibrated, the floor seeming to be unsteady. The cracks Ulquiorra's energy made were widened further, tiny pieces of the tower actually rising up and floating in mid-air, due to the conflicting spiritual pressures.

"Armor Infusion." David said. At that moment, his armors seemed to actually melt into him, being absorbed into his skin. David's skin became midnight black, taking on that odd texture that his armor had. Not just that, but the Alchemist's Armor was also absorbed into his skin.

The black armor in his skin began to emit a high frequency sound, focused only around David's ears. Only he would hear it.

This was a use of Psychoacoustics, the effect of sound on the brain. Currently, it was speeding up the rate at which his brain waves traveled, heightening all his senses, reflexes, and movement, many times over.

Just as well, David began to control the water in his blood, using that to increase his speed, reaction time, and strength.

The armors in his skin would also increase his speed, and strength, while also increasing his defense greatly.

What other things his armor might be able to do now was a mystery at the moment.

The orb of energy shot a beam at David from behind, colliding him with amazing force. It seemed to do nothing, and even more so, it was being absorbed into David. After a couple of seconds, the beam would stop. This was an ability of the late Kiriel. That specific weapon needed heat, light, or electrical energy, as food, so it could perform its other abilities.

When it changed into armor, it also gained the ability of being able to convert those three energies into spiritual energy. This energy was transfered to David, which he stored and compressed into his body. All of the pockets of energy on his appendages, as well as a portion of his chest storage, was restored.

David was smirking now, his eyes shining in simple happiness. "I'm quite happy that I chose you as my opponent. This has been an incredible experience. I'm so happy, I might actually take you up on your wager." David said, his smirk turning into a full on grin.
