I'm sorry, old chap, but we'll have to kill you as you have just violated our border. Is that allright? And, yes, a spot of tea would be lovely.

I say, I seem to have acquired a british accent, and a taste for tea, and it seems people are aiming at me...the army men theses days have no manners

There were guns in the Civil war that had bullets like the revolver and some rifles, but yes most of the guns took a while to reload. I saw footage of the game and it took about 6 seconds to reload those single bullet guns. Well it is less then 10, but yes, it does take too long. Just make sure you take cover while reloading. But I still think a WWI is much better. Vietnam is a terrible idea because we lost that war. The korean war is also a bad idea. WWIII set up in the cold war is a good idea, as long as they get it right.

I think we should stick to fictional wars. WWII was a real atrocity that happened to real people and lots of those real people really died or really lost family members and body parts. It was horrible. And now we play games about it? For entertainment? I just don't feel right about it. I think Saving Private Ryan traumatized me or something. :mrgeen:
I like EndWar's concept of a near-future fictional war. Gives it "believability" without it having to actually have happened.

WWIII set up in the cold war is a good idea, as long as they get it right. the colt revolver and the gaitling gun didn't come out till the end of the civil war and they were technology that was almost exclusivly available to the north only as for vietnam and korea those wars were stupid should have never happened we did lose and theres so much contraversy surounding them u can't make a good game about them with out over romanticising some asspect and offending some one fictional wars maybe if we have a break from aliens while they fun they are overused as villians and enemies we need somethign fresh maybe world war 3 but the cold war big bad red army comunism has been so overused it self its not even funny remember freedom fighters theres a prime example of the big red threat and all it was was political hype who gives a s**t abotu comunism these days china is still under it and they are doing fine its not the big bad monster it once was made out to be so that idea is dead if not dying the wars come with steryotype villains and enemies thats the problem the enemies are almost alway comunists/spviiets nazi/fascists alien/invaders or a new one coming out due to the crap of the world we are in today and I won't even touch on that one we need something fresh anything original would be welcome if its a departure from these things

Well, having to been able to sit down for several hours to play Super Mario Galaxy, I can't deny the games charm and that it's a damn good game... However, I don't think it's game of the year.
I stand by Uncharted, CoD4, or Bioshock being the best titles this year.
