OMG I am much too young for any more of this type of talk, I must insist that from now on you ceompletely describe every action involved in this idea of copulation, as graphically as possible. Though, the actual term was coined by a man who made biscuits for a living; it is also worth noting that he his surname was biscuit. He also had a son. Everytime someone asked the son who he was, he would say "I am the son of a Biscuit." Eventually Mr. Biscuit had another son, now, neither son could say "I am the son of a biscuit," no, no, no, they had to say "I am a son of a biscuit." Becuase when one says "I am the son of a biscuit" it implies there is only one son, whereas the other phrase "...a son of a..." implies there is more than one son. When these children grew older, they became quite the trouble makers. When ever they would reak their havoc, the victim would always say "Son of a Biscuit," and that is how the phrase "son of a biscuit" formed.

And when I say yes, I mean maybe, and when I say maybe, I mean that I highly doubt anyone will believe that. But, the whole account is true. Trust me, I made it up, I would know.

Of course people believe you! What in the lovely story in unbelievable? I mean, come on, even someone who doesn't belive anything would belive that because it's completely believable and though they don't believe anything else they would probably believe that and and one who doesn't believe you must believe everything because their believy-ness is run out so they... don't...believe...you.... sweatdrop okay nevermind.

Just a suggestion. I think that the guild homepage should be changed. Quote: Every year hate crimes are committed because of a person's religion Of course they're committed every year. But this sentence just means that at least 2 are committed. That's petty- Either provide statistics, or make a general statement about how common they are. I think it should be more like: "[An amount] of religion based crimes are committed (every year?). Quote: Every year people are discriminated against because they have a religion that's not well understood. Same problem as above. 'Cept here, I think we should bust out the (main) definition of tolerance, "understanding and respect of belief". Quote: My only question is: Why? You already answered this question when you said "because they have a religion that's not well understood". The question is unnessesary. Instead, I think it should say something more like, "Intolerance can be prevented with understanding." Quote: I don't care if you're black, red, white, green, blue, yellow, or purple, everyone is welcome to come here. I'm also not sure about this statement. I know no blue, green, or purple people. Since it's the religious tolerance guild, maybe more examples of religion could be given.

Chaotic Puppet: xd xd xd I shall relay the story to my mom next time she's angered enough to use that sacred phrase. And then I shall run. xp
Contingent: I really don't have any intentions of changing the opening statement. For one, its an open guild. If I were relying soley on that paragraph to snag people in, you're right that is a bit loose. However, since it is an open guild, people can come in and browse around to see if they really do like the place or not.
Yes, saying hate crimes does show that there were infact at least two. But keep in mind that crimes committed because of that are hard to prove as a hate crime. It could go off as just a homicide statistic, so the numbers won't be correct. Not only that but 56% of all statistics are made up on the spot.
As for people being discriminated against, there's the same problem with above. Tolerance isn't really understanding of a belief. I don't know very much about Mormons, but I respect their beliefs and won't judge someone as a good or bad person based on that.
Yeah the why is redundant, but it helps lead to the next point.
I've seen people turn people with rage, blue from choking, and green from envy. xp But seriously, I don't want the place to sound like its too uptight. The reason we have such a high number of people is because the place is laid back and relaxing to be in. 3nodding

Quote: Yes, saying hate crimes does show that there were infact at least two. What I meant is that saying "every year" on the end makes it sound like you're using statistics. And it's just a bit confusing. Quote: Tolerance isn't really understanding of a belief. Well it's the definition I knew of. If you're accepting of something but don't understand it, I wouldn't consider that really tolerance; just acceptance/respect. Quote: Yeah the why is redundant, but it helps lead to the next point. I don't think so. Your 'why' isn't followed by an answer to 'why', but a resolution to the answer to 'why' which you already posted beforehand. Quote: I've seen people turn people with rage, blue from choking, and green from envy. mrgreen Quote: he reason we have such a high number of people is because the place is laid back and relaxing to be in. 'spose so. I think it's also because a lot of people are frustrated with religious intolerance. --------------------------------- Anyway, I'm not saying that you should be obligated to change it, but I think it would be good if you made it a little more coherent.
