Henry watched Rain leave, wondering where she was going. Now that Odori was gone, there was no one to drag her back and force her to be social. He glanced at the newcomers and Alex. He didn't really know them - there was no point in staying. With a sigh, Henry made up his mind and jogged slightly to catch up with the girl. "Hey, Rain. Where are you going?"

Cameron splashed through the mud as well, feeling it against his skin and in his socks. He grimaced and would have complained, but knowing that Odori was watching and listening, he didn't say anything. Soon he caught up to her and slowed down when he saw her stopped, and covered in much more mud than he was. Then he picked up speed and veered off to the left, forcing his motor to climb a small hill.
Isabella watched as the group split up and frowned. She hated making decisions like this. Should she stay with Alex and Ayumi, or depart with Rain and Henry? Figuring that she probably should get to know her roommate, she decided on staying, although she was still rather skeptical.

"I feel like we're the odd ones out," Ayumi commented. Everybody had seemed friendly and then all the sudden they were running off. She looked at her roomate Belle and then at Alex. "Any suggestions guys? We don't have any scheduled activities until tonight." She didn't really feel like listing the options - she didn't like them. Exploring the woods, swimming in the river, going and hanging out in their cabins like losers...

"We have something scheduled for tonight?" Isabella asked. She hadn't had time to look over anything that the camp had given her. After all, her mother had chosen this place, and since Belle was running late she didn't have time to look over anything. Ayumi seemed to be informed though, at least. She looked to Alex, searching for any sign of recognition of the event scheduled that night. "Are we sitting around a campfire or something?" Isabella asked, not sure that she entirely liked the idea and twirling a curl around with a finger, contemplating it.

Hearing her name Rain turned and waited for Henry glad the rest of them didn't seem interested in coming. She wasn't fond of large groups, "Hey Henry. I was just going to grab some paper and pencils from my room and then head down to the river to draw and maybe swim a little. Want to come?" Looking at him as she walked at a lazy pace she wasn't sure why she asked but it beat being alone and he was at least not as overly critical and appearance oriented as the others seemed.

"Uh, sure," Henry said, suprised at the invitation. It didn't seem like Rain. "But I'm not swimming." He paused, his mind drifting. "Oh yeah, I uh, think you still have my notebook." In the hubbub over the 4-wheelers he hadn't really thought about it.
[[Hey, sorry to bug you guys, but you should check out Ghosts of Dudley. It's Noelani's roleplay and it's really cool and so far I'm the only one that has sent my profile.]]
"Yeah," Ayumi answered. "There's going to be a fire in the pit that's in the middle of all the cabins. It's a cook-out and we're supposed to be all cliche and tell ghost stories and what-not. It could be fun though," she said with a shrug. "You never know."

"Ghost stories are fun," Isabella said with a smile. Sometimes it could be fun to scare yourself. "But I'm not sure that I know of any good ones," she added with a tinge of disappointment. "I hope they have more choices than just a hot dog though. I don't exactly like them very much." She watched as Rain and Henry started to walk off together too, before turning back to her own group.
[[ Heh... Thanks. =) ]]

"I hate busses." Victor Scarfe, aka Vic, told himself as he glared through his hair and out the window. At least he was the only one on it - and he had decided to sit at the back, to avoid conversation with the driver. Usually he was quite the outgoing kid, but he was angry that he had to leave all his friends to go to a lame summer camp with no one he knew. He was also angry, because he remembered doing this when he was about 8 years old. Now, he was 17, and still going to camp. Noticing the bus came to a halt, he looked forward and saw a few buildings.
Vic sighed as he picked up a small suitcase and slung another bag over his shoulder. Stepping out of the small bus that held only him, he groaned at his surroundings. Camp. Not only that, but he had arrived late, so everyone probably knew each other already, and he felt as though he would be left out. Shaking his head, he began to walk towards a large building, which he guessed was the main hall, or something of the sort. Reaching a slender hand to the door knob, he twisted and pushed the door forward, walking inside. Someone here would know where he was supposed to go, right? "Hello?" He called out softly, but not too loud.

A man looking not much older than twenty looked up as Victor stepped into the main hall. The room was large with square tables set up and a stage-like raised platform in the front of it. The man was sitting on the one step of the platform, his laptop on his knees. He glanced at Victor before making a few clicks. "Victor Scarfe, age 17, Cabin B2, rooming with Alex," he read off. "Hi, I'm Benji, one of the counselors here. You're a little late for lunch, but you're welcome to have something at the cafeteria to our right." His tone was friendly, accomodating. "It's kind of a free day so everyone's probably wandering around by now..." The corners of his mouth threatened to turn down, but he quickly corrected this with a smile. He set down his laptop and went over to Victor. "Welcome to Camp Blackwood."

"Huh?" Looking down she was still holding his book making her smile, "Oh yeah, Forgot about that." Holding the book out to him, "Your a really good artist. Just so you know." Getting to her cabin, "Be right back." she said as she opened the door making no move to close it but instead took her bags bumping them upside down on her bed until she found what she was looking for. It was a 9" x 13" leather bound sketch book that was over half full or portraits and landscapes though the most recent one was a self portrait she had managed from inside the box. Limited movement and her sketch book as a cruel joke she had used it to pass time. Coming back out she left the mess on her bed shutting the door. Looking down her sketch book was flipped open to her latest one and though it was not definedly her it was a female in the picture taking out the pencil she had used as a marker she snapped it shut, "Did you need anything from your room while we are near by?"

Henry ran a hand through his hair, a little embarrassed at Rain's praise of his artwork - it was just for him really, not something he normally let others look at. Maybe that's what his parents wanted of him. A change for the better, a chance to get to know people he would never have met. By the time Rain came back he had put his sketchbook away and the slight blush had vanished. "No, I'm okay," he answered. "Do you know where this river is?"
Ayumi shrugged. "They'll probably have s'mores at least," she said, not able to hide a smile. "I don't know if you like those. I know I don't. Marshmallow's too sticky and fluffy." She made a face.

Vic looked at the man with the laptop, a little scared. Not knowing how he knew everything right off the bat from his computer creeped him out a little. Shaking ot off, Vic smiled at the man. He seemed friendly, but there was something a little odd about him. Hearing he was late for lunch, he shook his head lightly. "That's alright, but thank you. I'm not that hungry, I might just grab something later." He told him kindly as he turned his head to look out the window. "So, which direction is the cabins? I think I'm gonna go and put my stuff away and then wander around for a bit." He told him as he continued to smile.

Rain shook her head, "Nope. I just know its that way somewhere." she said indicating toward the east with a smile. Away from the crowd it was almost as if looking at a different person. Smiling more and generally happier her previous annoyance and disconcert had vanished leaving behind a better mood. Shrugging and pointing she started to walk at an easy pace and though Henry didn't want to swim she was thinking about it anyway. It had been so long since she had the chance too. Looking over her shoulder with a grin, "We won't find anything standing still" she said laughing.

((Niwa, sorry, but I got bored....))
She followed after him easily up the small null, amused be the grimace. So it seemed he didn't like to get dirty, huh? Ah, well, too late now! She continued to follow after him for a few minutes, before getting bored and taking a sudden left through some underbrush. Hopefully he would notice and follow her, if not, well...it was his loss then. Odori pressed the gas pedal harder, pushing the machine further, unbothered by the small cuts she recieved from the thorny path. She found another path after escaping the thorns and quickly followed the sharp turn.
Prehaps she took it too fast or maybe there was a malfunction with the machine, but one moment she was sitting atop the seat, grinning wickedly, the next she was on the ground, her head throbbing. She vaguely remembered the 4-wheeler leaning to one side on the wheels, but that was about it. Dazedly she stared up at the tree branches above, wondering what the sticky sensation was on the side of her head.
"Ghost stories are good," he said, smirking at the two girls as they spoke, "and so are s'mores!" Alex watched as Henry and Rain walked away, wondering if they were going to hit it off or not. He turned suddenly at the sound of another bus pulling up and was slightly surprised at the sight of another boy. Probably my roommate, he thought, watching him for a moment, before turning back to Ayumi Isabelle. "How's about we just walk around for a bit? Get the layout of the place?"

[I was actually about to do something like that, so it's fine with me.]
Cameron followed Odori at a slower pace, since he had to take the time to turn his 4-wheeler all the way around. He with a sigh, he heard her crashing through pushes. Apparently he would get a little more dirty. Quickly, he charged through the underbrush, but soon slowed down as he saw thorns. He certainly didn't want to get hurt. He came to a spot where the path had a fork and decided on the one without thorns, although he wasn't sure that it was the one that Odori would take. He sped up then, and eventually he found Odori's vehicle, without her on it. Seconds later he saw her on the ground, bleeding. "Odori!" he shouted, hopping off his vehicle without bothering to turn it off and rushing over to her. "What happened?" He couldn't tell if she was weak, or how much pain she was in.
"The chocolate is yummy," Isabella added. Then she looked around the camp, realizing that she didn't know very much about it. Looked like all the late arrivals were gathered together, she thought, oblivious to the fact that another boy had arrived. "That's a good idea. I don't know anything about this place, not even where my cabin is," she said with a small laugh.
