Kohana gave a mischevious smile.
"I was bored. Being a princess makes life boring, so I needed a change in environment. Oops, did I just say I was a princess? Well, now that it's out, yes, I am the Princess of the Zoras!" she piped out, acting naive. She waited for the boy's reaction while gazing to the north where Hyrule City could be seen. She slowly pulled her hand out of Link's grip and set her eyes upon the tallest tower in the castle.
"Have you ever wanted to live inside a real castle?" she asked quietly, forgetting about her mission to act as naive as possible.

((You know what I just recently found out? Arryl is the name of another character from the Zelda series. 0.0 I didn't have that in mind at all. xd ))
"Thank you, Inariie," Ganondorf told her. He followed her for a moment before turning and staring off to where he knew the castle was. He wasn't too surprised that he couldn't see it. Falling to musing, he ran through what he hoped would happen, yet again. The parade into town. The marriage. Departure. And finally enough food. That was a plus, even if the marriage was bittersweet.
Inariie caught Arryl's eyes, and for a moment it seemed she understood what Arryl was hoping for. Everything. All her dreams. Then she ceased, and Arryl realized what her expression had fallen into. Shaking herself slightly, she went back to stoic, glancing back to Ganondorf. For a moment she wondered what precisely he was thinking. Probably thinking about their entrance to town. It was on her mind, too, she just didn't much want to think about it. She couldn't ignore it forever, though.

Link was taken back by the revelation that this particular Zora was Royalty. but still something about her words seemed to humanize the Princess. "I guess it depends. A larger home would be nice, and so would a royal title. But still, it seems to me, the bigger the home, the more room there is to be lonely. I'm guessing that's probably why you took off."

Kohana sliently noted Link's reaction to her words, even down to the fact that he seemed to associate her meaning with someone else's. Turning back to him, she sighed.
"I have many duties in the Zora Domain. Sometimes, I start to feel that routine takes up too much of my life. That's when I just take off from home and find somewhere to relax. So yes, you have it right. Where do you hail from?" she asked.

Artanis saw the girl's body tense, and had just enough time to think, Oh no, before she was off and running. He ran after her, keeping to the sides of streets. He almost wished that he didn't have any idea where she was going, but he recognized the look she'd gotten just before she ran; it was the look of a rabbit who's suddenly realized the thing around it's leg is a snare. She was getting out.
Unfortunately, his progress was blocked by the crowds, and he lost sight of her quickly. It was a bodyguard's worst nightmare. He pushed on grimly, but by the time he reached the field was little more than a red-tinted speck. He thought for a split second, then calmly pulled out a tube and slipped a small dart inside it. He took a deep breath, brought it to his lips, and fired. Time to go home, Your Highness.

"Lon Lon Ranch. My family's owned it for six generations. We have th best milk in all of Hyrule," Link replied embarrassedly, knowing it was nothing compared to the life of royalty. The noblest task he had ever been given was cleaning up after the Kings prized horse.

Zelda felt a sudden, sharp sting in the back of her neck. She gasped, bringing her hand back to touch the spot, and froze. It was a dart.
As though it had been waiting for her to realize what had happened, the dizziness started. She shook her head, trying to think calmly. She had to get out of there; she had to do something, anything...
"Your Highness?" came a muffled, timid sort of voice.
Zelda opened her eyes, still feeling slightly woozy. Her breath caught in her chest as she realized that she was somehow back in her bedroom. She sat up in bed, looking around. It was definitely her room.
There was an apologetic knock on the door, and the voice came again. "Excuse me, Your Highness, but the King sent me to help you get ready, since you didn't send for anyone. You'll be late. May I come in?"
Zelda blinked. "Y-yes, of course."
A slim, plain young Hylian came in, smiling shyly. As she looked at Zelda, the smile faded. "But- but you're not ready at all! Did you fall asleep, Your Highness?"
Zelda opened her mouth, then closed it again. After a second she smiled a strained smile. "Yes, I suppose I must have. I'm sorry."
The other girl turned pink. "It's no trouble, Your Highness. Though if you don't mind, we should really start getting you ready now. Your finance is due in little more than an hour."
Zelda's smile stayed, but something went dead behind it. "Yes. We can't keep him waiting, can we?"

((I need to leave, but I'm not going to leave Takerucoh hanging. This will probably be the shortest post I have ever typed. Sorry...))
Kohana smiled.
"The best milk, ne?" she asked.
((Note: Ne is the Japanese equivalent to 'hey' or something like that. Not literal. I've started to use it even when I'm talking English, so I just put it in there))

Link's pointed ears lifted in excitement, comparative to a dog's, upon hearing the girl's wonrs, "The secret is all in what you feed the cow..." From there it was very easy for him to speak of his life on the farm.. Of the menial labor, and horse training and most imposrtantly, his playing of pranks on Gustave, "Now imagine it's just him... alone...in a room filled with three hundred penguins."

Ganondorf grimaced. They were already underway, yet Inariie had departed into their little guard and hadn't come back yet. Glancing up at the sun and at their progress, he judged there was little more than an hour left in their journey, and a little less than a hour's worth of sun. Traveling in the dark was something he was accustomed to; significant travel just wasn't done during the day in the desert. He'd hoped to avoid it, though, since it took away from the shining armored caravan he had intended on bringing in.
It could still be played at another angle, though.
Torchlight would look good. Mysterious, frightening, unknown figures shining in only partial light. Absolutely perfect. Make the Hylians fear him even more. Brilliant.
"Lord Ganondorf, we're going to arrive in darkness." "That's true. We'll use torchlight. More intimidating. "Quite right." Arryl didn't just say that in obeisance, either. The effect of an army, no matter how small, given the right lighting, was quite stunning. She knew herself; she'd seen Gerudos on the march at night. The standard load of jewels added a gleam that just pushed mysterious into unknown. I must admit... he's got a sense for dramatic entrance.

Inariie rode up on her tan mare, looking irritated. "Sorry about the wait. I couldn't find either of them. I know they're in the caravan; people have seen them." She shrugged, trying not to look as tired as she felt.

((We need to make and time skip! Only like an hour or so (as I've said) but it needs to be done.))
"Very well. There is no problem; if need be, we'll go with just the four of us." Ganondorf wasn't happy about it, but it had to be done. He couldn't wait forever.

(alright, this is probably not going to be my character for muchj longer, but I figured since I designed them, I should at least start them offf to establish a personality)
"Artemis, Inariie was looking for you before," Another gerudo informed her. Already she knew what her fellow gerudo wanted, it must be time. As he sword swung from her side, Artemis jumped out of the caravan and detached one of the nearby horses. Quickly she dashed out to the front of the large troupe of soldiers to were she was sure Gannondorf must be waiting.
It had been three days since Lyra's sister had left for Hyrule Castle without so much as a goodbye. Lyra had just woke up one morning and no one was home. She was aware that many of the warriors would be leaving but Artemis had never said a word about her plans, not that Lyra truly had to guess. Ever since the death of thier mother ten years earlier, her sister had completely devoted herself to her training. Most days the teenaged girl wasn't even sure that her sister even remembered her name.
Lyra stared at the setting sun and thought, 'If I was home, I'd probably be finishing training right now' Almost immediately after her sister left, Lyra had departed for the Spirit Temple. It wasn't that she had no place to go or nobody to stay with. In all truth, she had plenty of friends who would welcome her in an instant. But right now, the last thing she needed was to be surrounded by happy families, she wanted to be left alone for awhile to get her thoughts straight, and the abandoned temple seemed like the perfect place.

"Ah. Artemis. So we've got five out of six. Very well then; we'll dicuss our plans.
"I want Artemis and Kia flanking me in a wedge formation, both carrying torches. The rest will organize themselves in a wedge behind the first. I don't care how you do it; just do it, and stick close. Behind that we'll keep the majority of our army. I'd like the ring of troops on the outside to distance themselves from the rest and carry torches." He talked about his place for perhaps fifteen or twenty minutes. "Is all well? Good. The walls are in sight, as you can see. It won't be long now," he added, glancing off to the setting sun.
~~ One Sneaky Timejump Later ~~
"Get everything together! Get the torches lit!" Ganondorf shouted, turned nearly backwards in his saddle, yelling orders back to his Gerudos. "We're gonna put on a good show even from a distance!" The sun was completely set, leaving only the last rays of day shining from below the horizon. "Let's do this!" The walls were less than fifteen minutes away, although that was still only a little less than a mile. Those who had armor were already wearing it (although they were quite numbered), and they sparkled amidst the other ranks of the Gerudos. All in all, a good show, once the torches were lit.

(sorry seirra but by the looks of it, Link is gonna have to go home soon)
The two continued to speak for well over an hour, at which time, Link noticed the colorful sky that always preceded the sunset, "Sorry but I've got to go, mom's probably worried sick, I'm sure your father is too," Link told the Zora then stood up from his spot on the ground and headed toward the staircase leading to Kakariko Village, "I'll see ya'll around."
Upon entering the village, the blue eyed teen immediately spotted the bomb shop and headed towards it, certain that they could lead him in the right direction towards finding his friend.
