Dion looked after the elf,"Lighten up!We do this all the time!!!HE CAME UP WITH IT!!!!!" he shouted angrily.'She's a p***k!' Quartz growled,'A rider and a dragon can't have fun?I'm not even drunk!!!'
Dion shrugged,"Sometimes I don't know buddy." he said eating his apple.He picked up the apple that had "knocked" Quartz over and tossed it into the dragons open mouth.

Remix woke up, the feeling of cold air running through her arms was enough to wake her up form a nightmare she was having just now, she looked around, still in mid-air, Denica seems to be a bit energetic right now, so Remix didn't bother to land, they kept flying until they reached a clearing, Denica slowly landed on the soft grass and bent her head, so Remix could get off, she slid off her back and landed on her feet, her sword dangling from her waist, she looked around, no one seemed to be there, she sat down and told Denica to rest, and let her be the guard for now.

Lydia stalked through the forest. I belong in Ellesmera, Artemis,she told her dragon, we elves don't trust humans, you know that. Indeed, Artemis said slowly, Why not though? Humans prey upon the very animals that are the elves friends, they cut down forests, they lay waste to precious resources, thats why I don't trust them.Lydia said through clenched teeth. Let's go back to the feast before we leave, she decided. Artemis and Lydia turned around, back to the feast. I fought on your side once, but never again, she said to Dion, then she mounted Artemis, to Ellesmera!she told Artemis, Yes, back to my home as well, Artemis said happily, I don't fancy being around humans either.

'Oh yeah lady?I don't need your help!There are other riders,many stronger than you,that will help me!!!You got lucky yesterday admit it!You couldn't have taken Thorn or Murtagh if not for their blunder,and you know it.' Dion answered angrily,he was fuming and felt his old desire to kill if not obeyed.He restrained it and sat down to have a drink.'What is it Dion?The Beautiful elven woman getting on your nerves?' Quartz asked,slightly teasing,he winked and gave a smile,for what it was Dion could tell it was a smile.

Lydia sat by a clear spring near Artemis, so what if others thought she was weak? Then it would dependd on if she was weak mentally or physically. If her mind had been weak, she wouldn't bother with difficult magic, if she was physically weak, she would use magic to her advantage. Lydia smirked, the insult was not well aimed, lucky? Then I have luck to stand by my side, at the very least, that isn't an insult, is it? I can't rely on luck alone though. No, Artemis said, waking up, you need skill and luck to win. I'm hungry, Lydia smiled, then lets get something to eat, there are plenty of plants in the forest.

'Quartz,we don't need luck like that pretender do we?We were trained by the one who destroyed the Riders right?That woman is insane!I don't know how to treat my dragon my butt!!!' Dion said a little while later to Quartz.
'Well Dion,it depends on how you look at things,I mean if that woman wasn't there in the first place we wouldn't be here,and you know that.' Quartz answered matter-of-factly.
'I have to apologize don't I?'Dion asked.
'I would,you don't have to though.You never know,she could be a strong allie' Quartz answered,'I beleive she is beautiful as well but,you know,it's your opinon.'
Dion sighed and looked down.

Lydia came back to the clearing, holding something in her hands, Artemis, I believe you have never tried this, she told the pearly white dragon, here, she ground the plants that she was holding with a stone, try it. Artemis lapped it up slowly, there wasn't much and it didn't taste very good, but it did take care of the hunger. You shouldn't be too hungry now, she said, what were those plants? Artemis asked, a little sage and a few other things I don't know by name, or rather, I cant pronounce their names, Lydia replied. Artemis sat up, was it supposed to taste good? Lydia laughed, actually, its supposed to taste horrible, but it'll take care of hunger, and its good for healing, why? Did it taste good to you? No, Artemis said, it wasn't horrible though, but I think I prefer stew.

Dion mounted Quartz and flew away,Dion knew he had to find her and apologize.He reached out with his mind,searching.He found her and told Quartz where to go.Quartz lightly touched down be hind the elf and her dragon,"Excuse me miss?" he said.

Lydia turned, "oh," she said, coldly "sorry, I'll get going then" Artemis snorted, glaring at them, before turning, lets get going, Artemis said, and she stalked off into the forest, Lydia gave them one last icy look before following.

Artemis narrowed her eyes and growled, flexing her claws. "And when did you learn that once a word, good or bad leaves your mouth, you can't make it return?" Lydia hissed, "or maybe you're too caught up in battles and such that you never learned about these things?"

linku walked along a small beaten path in the forest, he had decided to go for a walk but had some how ended up hunting instead
"see anything" he asked aloud to the small dragon that was following behind him.
the dragon itself was not very large just about knee high and could hardly fly, so it was more or less grounded for the moment
"i see nothing" it replied to him, linku picking the words up in his mind as it spoke
"well what ever...we can go a bit farther if anything else" the dragon nodded at linku's words and happily followed behind him as they walked

"I had a bad influence all my life,you don't choose your parents..." Dion said looking down,"I'm trying to change.I really am!" he began crying,"I...hate...Gal...batorix...more...than...you...can...realize!He's...my...father!!!He made me kill people for stealing food,small things like that,I hate him!!!" he looked up,tears streaming down his face,"I don't want to be him,but he tried to make me become him!!!I have images that haunt me that you should pray never to see.When I didn't obey him he would torture me,threatening to do worse to me than he did to the original Riders!He threatened to kill me many times and almost did a few!!He's crazy!" he said,the tears never stopping,"So,I'm sorry."

Remix looked at the blue sky, nothing but clouds and the sun shining above them. Denica soon woke up from the sound of grass being blown by the breeze passing by. "do you want to go walk a bit?" Remix asked her "that would be fine.." Denica replied. They both got up, stretching their limbs. They started walking and soon got to a nearby forest, the trees were big and their leaves were plenty to block some of the light. They continued walking when both heard foot steps from a distance. They silently walked over to the source and saw a man and his dragon. They stayed hidden to see what they were doing.

"there!" the small dragon yelped" as it jolted forward and pounced, dissapearing into the underbrush for a second only to emerge with a rabbit
"well thats dinner i suppose" linku said as he reached down and took the kill from bain and put it in his bag which was sllung over his back
"now what...keep going untill we find a place to camp then?" linku asked as he looked down at his dragon who replied with a slight nod
"ok then" was all linku said after that as he started to walk along the trail again, causing a limb from a tree to crunch under his feet or a bit or rustling leaves as he walked through them, all the while he was scanning the area ahead of him intently as he walked
