As the dove flew by one of the feathers mad a graceful landing onto his scarf where he greeted it with a warm touch ,and a blow in the right direction where it used the air as it's cushion. He loved those type of things nature specifically to him this place was his eden. With little human interaction insects and animals alike saw this a a place of comfort as did Kyuii. he then returned his attention to Hikaru. "Beautiful things things really."He hesitated for a moment to specify his words "Flying creatures I mean...the have all the freedom in the world while all we can do down hear is have small talk" A small chuckle followed soon after accompanied by a smile to small for his face. "Someday I want to fly in the sky with them" He said without giving Hikaru enough time to respond. A stupid type of dream ,but hey isn't that what childhood is about he pondered.

Raine squealed open the door. And closed it behind him. The place was busier than usual for some reason. So he just looked around and tried to find something to fix. The garden did look a bit in the ruts, still Raine wasn't quite sure what to do. He scuffled over to one of the older medic nin that looked friendly enough to talk to. "Excuse me?" he asked poking the mans shoulder. He turned and smiled. "Yes, Little boy? What can I help you with?" Raine pouted as the stranger called him little. "I'm just here to clean up, what should I do exactly?" he replied blandly. The man grew an even bigger smile, it was odd to see how freakish a smile could look without their face splitting in half. "Oh good! Please fix that planter over there first. once your done maybe I'll have a nice piece of candy for you huh little man?" The man patted his head. And Raine cringed, being treated like a baby wasn't exactly what fit into his ideal persona of Tekkenseisai. Raine sighed "yeah sure" and left to check out the long wooden box that was missing a side completely. He left to the back of the garden where a few bits of equipment had been left, including some long planks. Raine grabbed one and shoved some nails in his pocket. Unfortunately he didn't find a hammer but a big flat rock laying next to the planter would work. He set the plank up and nailed it in place. The work took long ans was hard holding such a big rock. But at least it was using his arms.

Raine hammered in the last nail on the fourth plank, while whistling a little tune his mom used to sing when she cleaned. His listening was a little sketchy. but none the less it was a cute, because the song just happened to be a well known tune about husbands going off to war. A few of the older people looked down at the small boy and laughed at his ignorance. After a while of hammering Raine stood to grab another plank, and noticed all the hard working people around him. Planting and studying. Everything looked so dull. He turned to a girl that looked about 15 and asked, "Hey you wanna hear a joke?" she turned up to him from pulling thorns from a plant to study them her fingers red and almost bleeding. Slowly she nodded her head. Raine smiled and walked back to his post. Still facing her he hammered a little as he thought, "K got one! Did you hear about the shoe factory that burnt down? Two hundred soles were lost." the girl laughed at his simple joke, and scooted closer to him, while continuing her job. Raine hammered more and smiled glad that he had helped somebody feel a little better. Work truly was a miserable thing. He was about to get on back to work when suddenly the girl said "Go on." Raine looked up happy at the request and nodded back.

Raine soon had himself laughing along with jokes as he talked with the girl he had just meant. Apparently here mother had sent her to study flowers to become a herbologist. Raine was just happy he didn't have to work alone. All she asked for was jokes. So Raine thought and thought remembering ones that he had heard in the village when Mom would go to the store and tie him to a tree out side that shop. Heisei always use to laugh, and try to explain them to him. But over his head they flew. Raine didn't care though as long as they made people laugh it didn't matter. "K I got one I got one!" he said holding his rock hammer still after getting the last side of a plank done. " Two men walk up to each other on the street. Both are dragging their right foot as they walk. As they meet, one man looks at the other knowingly, points to his foot and says, 'the great ninja war.'The other points his thumb behind him and says, 'Dog crap, 20 feet back.'" The girl in front of him gasped, and at first Raine thought he had done something wrong. Until she burst out laughing and had every other person in the garden staring at her. Raine hadn't realized it was that funny. And now the man who he had first spoken to walked over. Great..... Raine thought, but just put on a fake smile when he approached. "Your a funny little boy, but don't go joking about the Great ninja war some people might take offense." He smiled and walked away. Raine turned back with a red blushed face. The girl stuggled to hold in her giggle. While Raine just hammered harder.

Raine had almost nailed in all boards before he had his first accident. Raine smashed his thumb in the rock. And let out a loud yelp while dropping the rock and the plank. He grabbed his finger and seethed. Pulling his throbbing thumb closer to his mouth and bit lightly on one of his fingers. The girl sitting across from him, stood up in surprise and asked if he was ok. Grabbing his pink thumb and examining it closer. At her touch Raine's cheeks turned rosy red. And he turned away from her. "Yeah whatever I'm fine. Tekkenseisai don't feel pain." He said pulling his hand away. The girl giggled at his obvious attempt to stand up for his masculinity. At first he pouted a bit, but got over it and pushed his hair out of his face. "Man I really need a hair cut." he noticed pulling his hair up. The girl pulled scissors out of her pocket and gave him an evil smirk. "I'll cut it all off for you!" she gave him and evil laugh. Before little Raine dropped his hair wide eyed. Thinking she was serious, and hopped back. Suddenly Raine got the joke, but just to test himself. Raine quickly preformed bunshin. His clone poofed beside him. And Raine watched the girl's face go from sick humor to utter surprise. The two Raines both laughed and gave each other a high five before the clone puffed into smoke. The girl stood in awe. "Amazing your a ninja! I would have never guessed your so small." She teased. Raine stuck out his tongue. But smiled in side knowing that he had just preformed the jutsu so well. Even if it was only an easy jutsu. It felt good.
Cp=8-1=7
Bunshin no Jutsu: This is a basic technique taught to ninja at an academy. In certain years, Ninja are required to know this jutsu in order to advance to the Genin level. Bunshin no Jutsu creates one or more clones of the user, which can be used as a means to create a diversion, distraction, or cause confusion. Unlike Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Art of the Shadow Doppelganger), these illusory clones will simply disappear if come into contact, thus, they are without substance, and cannot do anything to damage the opponent. Cp cost: 1 pt. per bunshin. Damage: N/A Requirements: Academy students learn it on the academy as a basic jutsu. Training days: Academy. Chakra control check DC: 5 per bunshin. Special: Can create 1 per 5 points in Chakra control. Up to 5 bunshin can be created. *The user assigns a number 1 through 6 to themselves and each of their clones indivudually. The attacker rolls a 6 sided die to see what they hit. The Intelligence check DC to see through an attacker's bunshin is the 1/2 the attacker's int mod + half the attacker's chk mod.

"Well, we should get working. I'm only doing this to get some free lunch." he rubbed his belly and pulled the girls hand back to their positions. Raine grabbed a board again. And made sure not to get his thumb in the way of his rock this time. He hammered hard a few times and finished off the planter. While the girl sat down across from him and continued to study her flower. Raine sighed wondered what to do next. "Be right back I have to go talk to that man again." Raine pouting, not enjoying the thought of being labeled as "little boy" again and again. As well as being treated like a little baby. he may have been younger than the other academy students. But the boy truly was tough, and was just as mature as any of the other kids. His fists were stronger too. Raine thought putting a confident smirk on and heading over to where the man was bent over in a bush. Reluctantly Raine pulled on his shirt, "hey mister, I finished with the bench over there what do you want me to do now?" the man jumped a bit not noticing Raine and turned around with a large smile once more. "Very good little boy! I didn't think you would finish that job for a very long time. Your daddy must have taught you to work well. In that case I've got a special surprise for you." The man pulled out a small piece of wrapped candy, and held out his hand. However offended Raine was by the "dad" comment he didn't want to be rude and smiled like he thought an excited person would and grabbed the candy. "Um... thanks, so what should I do." The man stood to his full height and put his hand to his forehead as he looked around the garden. "ah I've got the perfect god for you. Our beautiful bridge was destroyed. Those mislead youngsters smashed a whole for it. Will you pull out the old boards and nail in some new ones?" Raine nodded and headed off to grab his things.

Raine ripped off the yellow rapper. To reveal a small yellow candy with a purple swirl mixed into it. His curiosity had the sweet treat popping into his mouth before even his hunger. The candy tasted of creamy lemon, and melted in his mouth. So that guy has some good qualities Raine thought as he sucked on the small candy which helped relive his growing hunger a bit. Soon he was back at the planter. "I've gotta go work on the bridge." he said pointing to the far side of the garden. The girl jumped up with her flower, "I'll come." Raine laughed at her enthusiasm. As he picked up his hammer and a few boards The boy noticed something about her, "Hey what's your name?" The girl giggled next to him as he walked. She was taller than him by a good few inches, "I'm Jasmine." She smiled, "And you, little ninja?" he bucked up and balled his fist in front of him. "I'm Tekkenseisai Raine, From the invinci..OW!" he was interrupted as the girl punched his army playfully and ran in front. "Hey!" he laughed running after her. She stopped at the bridge and Raine followed her actions. There was a massive whole right in the middle of the bridge and Raine dropped his supplies and started pulling. Ripping and tearing all the left over wood from the wreckage.

Raine felt happy that there was sweat dripping from his brow and his legs burned with overload. He knew that he was getting somethign from this hard work, including a hot steamy bowl of miso soup. Raine stopped and fantizized for a bit. Jasamine noticed and giggled. "Why are you doing all this just for some lunch?" she asked setting her pencil down. Raine looked over setting down a plank and suddenly he was punching the air in front of him, the imaginary enemy going down with one.... two... three punches. Raine finished with a hook smashing his opponents ribs, so hard that raine had to grit his teeth with victory. Jasmine's countenance grew confused. "I'm going to be the greatest, I'm not doing it for lunch I'm doing it for all the people I'm going to grow up and protect. Imagine if I had just paid for my stupid soup! Than I'd be fat and lazy! I wouldn't be able to save people from war and hate, I wouldn't be able to save little kids never knowing their fathers and watching their brothers get put under a stupid stone!" he said almost yelling, Jasmine smiled at his enthusiasm, little did she know that he had really been venting the pain he felt deep in his being. She stood slowly. And the small gasping boy set down his fists wondering what she was doing. She approached and leaned down to eye level. "You're going to be a very good warrior if you don't fight for blood, but for peace." she gave him a light peck on the check and Raine lit up like a strawberry, his roses cheeks flushed bright red as his eyes shot open. Jasmine laughed and backed away, while raine gagged at the vile deed. He threw himself at the ground and acted as if his cheek were melting from girl acid. As soon as he realized the older girl had returned to her seat, Raine rolled to his knees and looked at her sternly, "Well coarse I'm gonna be great."

Raine sniffled, jumping back to his duty. His back turned to Jasmine who was continuing her work, Raine chanced a glance back at her, before rubbing the cheek she had kissed and smiled. Raine had never felt the lips of anyone but his mom, and still he wouldn't let her sneak in a peck often. The small boy couldn't help loosing focus more and more, wood slips fell into the pond below. And Raine had to lower himself head first to grab out all the s**t he dropped. The process was long and hard. In fact Raine didn't feel like he was getting anywhere at all. Pulling the boards from the bridge was easy enough, but getting the tiny details of splinters was killing his fingers, and his patience. Raine hating nothing more than working and getting nothing from it, or failing. It seemed he failed so often, never getting a break. Always training for what! A bowl of ramen? He wanted real missions real teachers and a real team. Unlike before, Raine grew a mean growl on his face as thoughts boomed in his head of failures. At the garden, and with Hatchi. No one knew where his mentor was because He had started something. He knew it in his soul, that he had been the cause of all of their problems. Raine's attitude smoked like a furious dragon, hoping some one would stumble into it's cave so it could unleash it's wrath.

Just keep going, just keep going! RAine thought struggling more and more and his frustrated fingers stumbled on the spikes of wood. "Damn" Raine said to himself pounded on the wood. Raine stood up and clutched his finger tips. They burned with the penetration of tiny attacks, each splinter getting deeper in the most sensitive part of his body. He wasn't about doing the little things. If only this stupid garden needed something to be punched! Jasmine watched as his attitude got colder, when he looked to her and saw her worried face. Raine calmed, he took a deep breath and walked over to her sitting on the rail of the bridge, "Sorry it's just this is taking forever, and I had a bad morning." he said thinking back to that mystery man with long white hair. His fist clenched at his side, someday that man was gonna get it. Raine dreamed of facing him and driving a punch straight into his gut.

Raine leaned back on the bridge rail, looking up into the deep sky and wondering when the sun would show it's face again. Suddenly a fat little drop caught him in the eye, Raine surprised leaned back, forgetting his need to balance on the rail. His arms flew out to his side as he yelped. Jasmine was caught in worry, and laughter. She thought he was just fooling around until he fell back even more, and is but slipped off the rail. Raine fell on his back submerged in the water, he struggled on the bottom only a few feet away from the surface. While giant koi escaped from the invader. For a second Raine lay still seeing each ringlet made by falling droplets of Raine, as seconds passed the ringlets covered the entire surface. The small boys lungs burned though and Raine pushed off the bottom to the surface. He crouched in the water, realizing that everything around him was soaked as well. The sky had finally thrown away the heavy burden of water. All the people were either scrambling out the gate or under trees, while Jasmine was standing soaked in front of him with a worried expression. "Are you ok?" she asked crouching down, droplets fell off of Raine's long eyelashes as he nodded. His mohawk now plastered to his head, and all his clothes stuck fast against his skin. The boy's legs looked scrawny and small but his chest and shoulders were trained and muscular. Slowly he lifted his body out of the water still submerged up to his waist. Jasmine helped him up out of the pond and Raine shivered, before running with jasmine to the safety of branches reaching over the gate, where many of the others stood including the man who treated him like a baby.

Jasmine and the man stood next to Raine, who now had a lab coat draped over him from one of the other medic nins in the garden. His face was blank, while both the older girl and Man looked worried for such a little boy to be so drenched and cold. Honestly Raine didn't mind he could take the cold, but a break was nice. He looked up to them, "Don't worry I'm a Tekkenseisai, not even kunai can hurt me." he said, the older man's expression changed a little, for he had heard of this clan before and could not see such a little person having such a harsh heritage. Jasmine picked up some soggy papers, "Let's go I'll buy you some ramen if you really want it." she said. But Raine nodded and put on a stern visage, "I set out on this mission and I'm going to finish it!" Raine stood and dropped the coat, he unwrapped his bandages as well, because they were already falling over his eyes. "Really little boy, you shouldn't go out in the rain, you'll catch a cold." Raine didn't give him anything to tell his emotions. He looked up, it hadn't rained in a long time. It had been almost a year now, that he had become a ninja, he thought about hos stupid it had been thinking he could become great just by going to that stupid school, he thought back to the forest with Mashida. Each begging for their lives like pathetic little weaklings. And suddenly he thought of heisei, thinking of the time he had told him why his name was Raine. You came to us like the miracle of Raine, You were the reason mom was able to be happy again. It seemed like such a dark day, the day you were born it rained and flooded, and it refilled all our streams and grew the rice even better. You were our blessing." Raine stepped out and felt each cool drop on his skin, he could almost feel Heisei's words in that Raine. While Jasmine and the man stared at his queer actions. "I like the rain." he said walked back over to the bridge.

Raine pulled the last pieces of wood form the bridge, and pulled up his hood. This didn't help much but it saved his ears from the cold a bit. He hurried back to the planter and grabbed a good few planks of wood. Wobbling and struggling as he inched back to the bridge. Raine dropped them a ever few steps. But he felt the strain in his back and legs. All the time keeping a determined face. But each time he dropped a plank and had to set them all down to start over, Raine couldn't help felling breathless and discouraged. Why was this so hard? Sure he wasn't good at reading but manual labor was his only skill it seemed. It was the only thing he really wanted to be good at. Ever step he took though his spirits were shot down. Raine even felt his eyes burning with the threat of tears. But Raine wouldn't allow it. He slipped on the mud though and dropped all the planks on his freezing toes. Which were so numb he couldn't really feel anything. Jasmine watched sad that he would keep trying even though it was obvious he was suffering.

Raine picked all the planks up and kneeled with them taking a deep breath before pushed up with all his might and running toward the bridge. He slid on the mud as he stopped and all the boards fell to the ground but he was back at least. Raine grabbed one board and pulled the nails out of his pocket that he had grabbed before. They slipped in his fingers and Raine could barely manage to not smash his fingers under the heavy stone. But with each hit and as the nail drove father and father into the plank Raine felt satisfaction, that he finally had and easy job, and sure enough he had the first board in place in no time at all. Raine was in a better mood now that he finally felt like something was getting accomplished. The small boy smiled back up at Jasmine and the man still shivering under the cover of the tree. Raine was feeling the chill as well, but toughed it out. As tiny goose bumps formed on his arms. Watching the wonderful show of rain drops dancing on the pond stage fascinated the small boy. As he placed board after board. Soon he had nearly half of the gap cleared, but the wet was starting to get to him. Raine stood and jogged back to Jasmine. My god you must be freezing!" she said holding out the coat to him. Raine grabbed it and rubbed his hair being careful of his stitches. After he had finished his short red hair stuck out like a bad case of bedhead. While his Mohawk had deflated and made him look almost like a red skunk.

The boy plopped down on the grass, his back against the fence. "That's some hard work. Chilly too" he said pulling his shirt over his head and wringing it out. The bandage on his belly from the scratches he had received on Shikome's crazy adventure had ripped halfway off. Raine looked up and saw Jasmine staring at his chest oddly. "um... ok than I"m gonna get back now." he said leaving his shirt behind so he could put it back on later. Raine hurried out to the boards and grabbed two of them along with his rock. Finally realizing that carrying more the three was a bad idea, and not quite as functional as taking more than one trip with a small amount of boards, Raine didn't have trouble transporting most of his supplies to the other side of the bridge. The kiss of each drop on his bare skin cooled the burn in his body at the hard work. And Raine felt good now under the dark sky. A smile on his face he hammered away slowly. Putting attention into how each nail looked and how it would feel if you stepped on it with bare feet. He felt like an artist carving away at a canvas, or was it brushing? Raine didn't care he felt happy. His hunger was starting to get to him though, and Raine wished he knew the jutsu Raito sensei used to go pick up the ramen last night when they were training.
