Saddly no, Me and my husband are both really fertuil. The first time we tried to get preganet we did. This pregancey was an UH OH,I was using both FC and birth control and my husband used condoms, but it seemed we where destined for a second child.

I learned that while growing up on the ranch. We could breed are cows and hef's the starting of the month to get a bull calf.

Good Luck!
Other than the already mentioned pre-natal vitimins I can't say that I really have much to offer. We got preg the first time we really tried, miscarried, and got preg the first time after the miscarriage that the Dr said was okay to try (my OB told me we were very fertile considering). We didn't really DO anything, but enjoy being newly weds *giggles*
I will pass along the advice that I was given after the miscarriage though; "enjoy the practice!"

BTW the orgasm thing--I've heard statistically 40% of women don't (the source was a Dr in that field) so don't feel bad!

Well now thay you have coverage you might want to inquire about a couple of things that can help.

1. Ultrasound of the ovaries can tell you IF you are ovulating, and when abouts you are. Since you have not got periods this could help you have an idea of when you may be fertile.

I was told that concption of my daughter would be difficult unless the conditions were perfect. I misscarried badly and there was scarring. I had to ovulate from the left side to concieve becasue the rigth side was blocked. So we had an ultrasound with a sonographer who was a specialist in fertility and she advised that the left side would be "ripe" between october and december. We then tried our hearts out... nothing... then a Christmas we decided to stop trying and had sex off the schedual... Bing baby!

2. The Hystero-Salpingogram (HSG) is both a diagnostic and Theraputic procedure! I know it was mensioned earlier. This test will tell you if you falopian tubes are open. and if they are slightly blocked by mucus or such like it can clear them.

The combination of the above procedures helped me to concieve.

Before going into all that though, it would do well for hubby to have his sperm count tested! It is a very simple test, and the best place to start. If all his lil swimmers are active and healthy then you can look into other things.

Finaly about positions. Sometimes a woman can have a retrograde uterus, pointed backward instead of forward. If this is the case with you (your doc can tell you) then a rear entry position will be best for conception. And insteat of pillows under your bum, lying on your knees with you bum in the air and head down is the best position.

I wish you all the best of luck and joy of your baby when you concieve!

Fortunately im fertile, thank goddess, but i have had many friends who have had problems. One of the simplest things to do is make sure your husband is keeping his sperm at the right temperature. switch from briefs to boxers, and sleep naked at night. That did the trick with one of my friends.

Even if you can't, or have difficulty, the act still feels good. wink

Both times we decided to have kids (with lissa and now) we weren't really in the PERFECT place to have a kid, but you also have nine months to adjust whatever is holding you back from thinking that.

The first time we lived in a shitty one bedroom single wide with NO SPACE. I told William if we were going to have a baby we needed to move to an apartment with more room. By December we were moved.

Now, William wants to take some time off but his company is not covered by the FMLA when it comes to Paternity leave because it's too small. So I told him we needed to budget and open a savings account so that when he takes the time off we have the money.

Well my budget has us saving nearly 4k by the time the baby is here. Which gives us PLENTY of money to take off time from work.

Though you kinda need Tommy around to do the baby making...

If you don't have periods very often, one thing to do is to try to cut soy out of your diet. It's more difficult than you think, because it's in everything, but soy has a plant estrogen in it which can suppress your natural cycle. My friend did this and after 3 months started having regular 28 day periods, her whole life before, she only got about 2 a year.

If you suffer from headaches, sinus and allergy problems that are hard to treat, that's also a sign you may be hyper-sensitive to soy. It's a sensitivity, not an allergy, so it doesn't show up in allergy tests.

Also, cut down on soy when TTC, and early pregnancy, as it has been rumored to increased chances of miscarriage.

Hmm I never heard about the soy thing. Is that the medical association's standpoint? I'm addicted to tofu, lol.

Yeah, I have to wait for hubby to get back before the baby wants can happen. I think a lot of it is because he's not here. I really want another child but I can't have a child willingly if I don't have insurance. I like what I have now, but we might not have it in a few months and there will be a period where we might not have any. I just would feel really bad if I didn't have insurance, all of it.

I'd be interested if you could provide some links on that, Catira.

We're going into our third month of TTC now. We have until August before it gets put off for a year. xd

I'll email my friend for the sites she found, she's much more informed than I am and she's also a member of some boards. It was a bit of a surprise for me too, as I'm vegetarian. Still, I'm trying it coz I keep miscarrying.

Just doing a quick search on soy allergy and infertility came up with this:
http://www.soyonlineservice.co.nz/ the site is a bit alarmist, but has some solid info. Go to the section on infertility.
Also, a Mothering magazine article: http://www.mothering.com/articles/growing_child/food/soy_story.html, it's a long article, so you might just want to scroll down to "Soy and Reproduction".

At the end of the day, you have to make your own mind up as to how solid the research is, but since I actually know someone who went from blinding headaches and 2 periods a year to headache free and a normal cycle, I'm inclined to give it some thought. Every little I can do to actually try to keep my babies is worth it to me.

We don't eat soy anyway. ^^; But caffiene may cause issues.

At the moment, our situation has become extremely unstable- babymaking has been put on hold.

(Heck, with the amount of stress right now, sex has been put on hold. xp )

I'm sorry to hear that Kyoki, and I hope that things will improve for you.

Actually, you probably do eat a lot of soy without realising it. It's in most vegetable oils and margarines, so it finds it's way into everything from bread to meat sauces. As lecthin it is even in chocolate. If you check the ingredient labels you'd be surprised, it's everywhere.

Anyway, hopefully that advice will be useful to some other folks TTC, but obviously that's furthest from your mind at the moment. I hope things get better in your relationship.

Its not relationship stress... its "OH NOES, TEH HOUSE!" Stress. Our house is being foreclosed on, (mind, its not our house, its his parents. That's a different rant.) And so we're in that stage of not knowing whats happening at all.
