Devvyl chuckled a bit. That wasn't exactly what Devvyl had meant; he'd meant that he'd have liked to know that his mate was going into labor. But he let it pass, giving the pups... his pups... a lick before nuzzling his mate and resting his head on his paws, content to simply watch his new family.
But new scents were approaching all too quickly. Instinct settled in, and though his eyes saw the fox-colored Soul, his brain registered a threat. He lifted his lips a bit, and when the navy-and-brown male showed up, Devvyl barked out a barely-audible warning. Isaac made him wary; something about his eyes wasn't right. And the funny feeling in his head wasn't right either. He shook his head vigorously, trying to get the strange feeling to begone, and resumed his eye-lock with the three wolves at the entrance to their den.
((Sorry guys, Devvyl's going a bit ballistic. Bear with him, I promise he won't end up tearing out anyone's throat... yet. wink ))

She would look up at the sight of Soul and Issac...this male she didn't know, yet he somehow seemed familiar in a sense that he was like someone else she used to know...eyeing them warily, she gave a light smile when they both showed their respects...knowing that this male was no threat to them, she would nuzzle her pups, nosing them closer to her body for warmth. "Hello, Soul," she called up from the den, resting her head on her mate's back to get a good look at the two at the entrance.
"Whose your friend?" She questioned in a soft tone, her own instincts having kicked in...but she was placed half over the pups, so there was no way for anyone to grab them. She smiled to Issac, canting her head and waiting for a reply.

Aoiko was nearby, simpely sitting, and waiting, listening to the wind and the ongoing conversations.
"Might I see the pup next, Selia ?" He asked, respect deep in his tone. He was curious to see how the little ones looked like.

Souls eyes shook as Dev bared his teeth. Her tail curled slightly under as she let out a whimper and skittered backwards into Isaac. This was the time she needed to fear. Her ears flattened against her skull, her heart racing.
She quickly calmed as Selia spoke to her. Her tail rose slightly with ease as she eyed Dev. Respecting his wishes, she stayed FAR from Selia and himself, just far enough so she could speak to Selia, but away from Dev's bite.
'Hello Selia. Dev...' She nodded to both of them, then peered to the pups. Such a...wonder bunch...So timid, fragile...she smiled.
'This is Isaac. You met him briefly...or atleast saw him.' She nodded and nuzzled against him, tring to stay away from Dev. She could see that Selia was protecting her pups, and Dev was as well. It suddenly hit her why they where acting as they were. ((Took a while eh! XD))
Souls eyes peered towards Aoiko, and she let out a short whimper of happiness. She parted gently from Isaac, making sure he didn't make any false moves, or fall over, then she moved towards Aoiko, licking at his head. 'Dont get to close. Stay your distance, its a parents instict to attack if movement is fast.' She let out a giggle sound as she continued to lick at him, then she moved towards Isaac once more, her nose flareing slightly. 'Let us go to the den ((Now XD!)) We'll introduce each other there.' She smiled and lead both Isaac and Aoiko towards the den, if they followed that is. 'Your pups are beautiful Selia...' she yelled back as she continued out towards the dens safety.
((I totalleh understand! crying What a devoted father *clings to dev and Selia* ))

(( OMG. Puppies and Faenaro drama! I NEED TO GET ELPHIE BACK HERE.

Luce Ravenier Thayne trotted up to the den, a still-warm hare hanging from his maw. He had already caught and eaten one, but he had thought that Loki might still need something to eat. He had no idea how much she had gotten from the deer, or if she had eaten since then. He poked his head in the den and barked softly. "Hige? Loki?" It echoed gently off the den walls. No one home, it seemed. He retreated from the den and looked around, sniffing the wind. Scents around the packground were different. Loki's scent came to him, as well as Devvyl's, Soul's, one unknown male's scent -- his hackles rose -- and four, much fainter but nonetheless unfamiliar scents. He picked up the rabbit and made his way to Loki's side. He dropped the rabbit by her foreleg and nuzzled his "big sister" lightly in the shoulder. "What's goin' on?" he asked softly. The scent of blood, in Selia's scent, wafted up from the den and he lifted his lips. "Is Selia a'ight? She 'urt?" he asked, lower and almost growling. He laid down to Loki, his ears laid back. "An' where's Hige?" Bloody hell, this was what he got for messing around with rabbits! ((*cough* I'm solazy ><)) Loki looked to Thayne and cleaned his forehead. "Selia had her pups." she commented softly, being so close to the den, she didn't want to upset Devvyl anymore than he was. "Soul brought a new wolf to the den.. to meet the pups, but Devvyl is in protective father mode. She smiled, wanting to congratulate the pair, but not wanting to intrude.
"S'that for me?" she asked, regarding the rabbit. She was hungry, not having hunted for herself since she thought Hige was out hunting. But if it wasn't for her, she wouldn't mind. It wouldn't be hard or bad for her health to go catch her own food now, anyway.
"Hige went back to the freelands. I don't know why, but Devvyl told me briefly that he met up with him a few days ago. I have to talk to him about things... " her voice got quieter. "About possibly moving..." she finished in a hushed tone, hoping to convey to Thayne that she wanted to keep quiet about it for now.

((Uh, shia, mind editing your post...? You kind of turned a spark into a forest fire. xD Devvyl didn't snarl and bark wildly, he simply bared his teeth and growled a bit. Barely audible, but noticeable. whee ))
Devvyl said nothing, but curled up closer around his mate protectively. No wolf, packmate or not, would dare attack his family. At this moment, his brain was running on pure instinct. There was no room for rational thought.
Grumpily, he laid his head down on his paws, his glittering yellow eyes gazing upon his packmates near the mouth of the den.

Plus, he didn't really want to think about the ramifications of moving so soon again, not just after they had gotten here. He picked up the rabbit and deposited it in front of his brother's mate. "Aye, s'for you," he said, nudging it towards her. "Y'aven't eaten lately, s' I thought y' might need't." Hige's disappearance troubled him. The older wolf didn't seem the type to just up and leave his pack or his new mate. The tricolored teen wondered about his brother's absence, then put it away to the back of his mind. "Wonder if Devvyl an' Selia want a rabbit or two?..." he mused aloud. To his train of thought, it made sense that Selia wouldn't leave the pups for anything, and Devvyl probably wasn't going anywhere for a while, either.

((That might be my fault too, Leso, X3;; Hige and Yero were RP'ing right before the time skip. We're three weeks after the move now, I think to make room for the pups and to speed things along. Me myself- shall have to do a time warp to bring Hige back from the freelands. @_@))

She would nose her mates neck a bit, before looking down to her pups. Removing her head from his neck, she'd lean back a bit, baring the small pups to the packmates above...since Aoiko had wanted to see them. She knew none would lunge in toward them...and, if one dared to do so, she and her mate most likely wouldn't let them get far. The pups were growing at a rabid pace...soon they would open their eyes, and be running around with the pack.
Leaning her head down, she would lick each individual pup, sniffing them, then setting her head back down against her mate's back. Closing her eyes, she'd perk her ears up, flicking them about to listen for any undesirable noises that she could get rid of...or scents, for that matter. She knew Feanaro would be about again soon--she was just glad the pups would be old enough to stay in the den by themselves while she and Devvyl talked to their old 'friend'.
Sighing heavily, she shifted her aching legs a bit, so that the pups could get closer to their parent's warmth.."So," she began speaking to her mate, looking down to the grumpy father. "What should we name them?" Rofl. >_>;;

She would lead the few awaken pups up and out of the den, over her mate..who was with three of them, so far. Sniffing a bit, she popped her head out of the den....Devvyl was still with Syn, Realin, and Teivel, so she had nothing to worry about with them. Yin and Yang wanted to go out...she wasn't sure at this point if the others were asleep or just resting with their father, so, she decided to show them the outside world. "Okay boys, go ahead and play." She mumbled, seating herself, then awaiting the pups to run outside.
Yang, the first male to want to get out, would bolt out into the snow, rolling onto his back instantly as fragile legs flipped him over. He yelped, before blinking up at his brother, Yin, who stepped over to him and stared. "What?" He questioned, rolling over onto his side before yawning, looking to his mother with a wagging tail. "Mommy, when will the others come out?"
"Nothing...nothing." He looked to his mother as well, canting his head lightly before giving a whuff. Sneezing once, he wrinkled his nose, and flopped onto his brother's back. And..was attacked quite quickly by the other young male, rolling themselves over in a flurry of white and black fur.
