Personality: Rather aloof, Leith was once a slave in a pride. It wasn't one of those dramatic slaveries you read about, though. Keep your head down and do what your told and you're fine, they rewarded you for it. So he didn't have it too bad(though he's been caught being snarky before). Until a couple's daughter ran away. Leith was forced after her. She was obsessed with some lion, and made him tag along. The lion, in turn, was in love with a cheetah. Long story short, the girl made him race the cheetah for her. The cheetah lost on purpose, he could tell, but once running, he simply decided not to stop, and ran head first into freedom.
Needless to say it felt great.
As for now, he's gone into that distant, occasionally sharp-tongued teenager. He is a bit bitter towards lions, but not too much. He'd been born into the slavery, after all.

Personality: Tano is a bit of a grumpy guy. He's had a bit of a complex since early on, due to his father. However, he fiercely loves his pride and would do anything for it, also being extreme loyal to his cousin. Because of his father, Mapatano fears he isn't really accepted and as such, despite being sardonic and grumpy, he's rather careful with what he says or does. He's getting a bit more comfortable nowadays. Walks with a limp.

Personality: As a cub, Ari wasn't very nice, being groomed to one day rule her pride. She considered herself superior, and seemed to do most of what she did just for her own personal gain. She could be rather mean and bossy, though in a subtle way; a pride is supposed to like it's queen, not hate her.
Fortunately, this kind of attitude has mellowed out in her adulthood. She still doesn't ingle much with the lower ranked members of the pride, but she has become kinder. to those in the pride, anyways. Any member of Tianxia is okay by her standards, so long as they remain loyal. As a cub, she found her relation with the pride more of a duty, but she has become more passionate about it. She envisions Tianxia becoming a great pride that all should look up to and fear when appropriate, and intends to do what it takes to get it there. She's a just, fair ruler, though not exactly emanating warmth and friendliness.
