Mystic Wondering ohhh, i'm just slow i guess Don't say that! Quite a few of my friends/acquaintances have told me they don't get my jokes so, maybe yer just one of those people. sweatdrop I agree with Mel! I usually like to know about a certain something before getting into a discussion, otherwise I'll be getting into trouble along the lines cuz I'll probably run out of arguments. You know? Since I don't know about Salvatore's books, and frankly, I don't really care THAT much to find out in the first place, I'll stop talking about it right here. Hey! How about a character a lot of us know about? Harry Potter! I know some people here like the concept while others don't. I myself like the concept but not to the point of defending HP to the death when it comes to discussing/arguing about it. mrgreen

Harry Potter dominates all, and he turns his aunt into a BALLOON! Ok, my moment is over.

I refuse to talk about Harry Potter other than to tear him into shreds viciously. So, therefore my argument would be no more constructive than what I said earlier regarding him (in one of the first instances where I got involved with the Drizzt argument).
So...that's it. sweatdrop

This is pretty much what I thought would happen, he-he. Say, has anyone seen any new concepts lately? Ive seen some in various new video games like the one that was featured here on Gaia a while back. If you don't know exactly what I'm talking about, then you should check out the link of the game called Harry Hatsworth.I even tried the ROM for this but it's not something I'm gonna be buying any time soon. I thought it was a new and innovative way of combining puzzles with adventure gaming so it isn't bad. Aside from this, there are plenty of other characters that are fairly new, aren't there? Does anyone have any favorites from those? It seems a friend of mine has made the new character from Castlevania: Judgment as her new favorite. I'm talking about Aeon, the character who wields a Watch-blade. Isn't this curious? It's kinda like saying Witch-blade, he-he. mrgreen

The reason why i love the Harry Potter series is because it turned me into a reader. MY 2nd grade teacher was a die-hard "You need to read!" person. She read us the first two or three and i fell in love with them. Before then i would only like to be read two, but after that i wanted to pick up a book and actually read it by myself.

DM_Melkhar My argument with Eoforgar was no more than him having slated his character based on the fact he's from Forgotten Realms and got dragged into D&D seeing as it's the same world. It should also be noted that, though Forgotten Realms began life as a D&D campaign world, it is completely enjoyable without the D&D aspect. You don't need to play D&D to enjoy FR novels. Also, not all D&D is Forgotten Realms. There are many campaign worlds; Dragonlance, Ravenloft, Mystara, Greyhawk, Eberron, just to name a few. There's a whole list of them on Wikipedia.

Well yes but, what exactly? Have you ever seen the movie Krull? I like the character known as the prince (I forgot his name) there cuz he gets to wield a cool chakram like thing that is more like a shuriken but it also comes back like a boomerang. That's an 80's movie, if I'm not mistaken. mrgreen

Well currently I'm rereading the Chronicles of Narnia, Demonata series, about to start the Dangerous Days of Danial X, and others that i just don't feel like listing. And i don't think that I'll have to see that movie.

Wait, is there a movie about that already? And why is it that you (or anybody else for that matter) haven't made a comment on the movie I mentioned? Is it too old for you? Cuz if it is, you can find info about it here! 3nodding

I said that i haven't seen it yet, but it sounds like something i will have to look into.
And yes, Chronicles of Narnia has been made into two movies, The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe plus Prince Caspian.
