Haruko stops and thinks over Hikari's words for a moment, and then it hits her. She won't be able to break free from this, hers or any others in the future, if she can't control her energy. Haruko focuses, and stops the flow of reiatsu into holding up the reiatsu. While this wouldn't break it, it would cause it to weaken, just enough for her to break free. She sat there rubbing her wrists, there were small marks on her arms, and it felt as if she had actually been bound with ropes.
She stands up, looking at Hikari. "Heh, I think I need to read up on it a little more... I think I can get it, though." She said, smilind softly and sitting down in the chair she had been in before, with the books in front of her. She immediately begins to read the section on general bakudo, which in the big book is well over thirty pages of small text crammed onto large pages.

Rei gritted his teeth, and as soon as he did, what reiatsu he had gathered suddenly bit back and plastered his back against the bookcase he was behind, his arms had tiny burn marks on them. Rebounding, Rei felt a sudden rush and let loose a tiny growl and repeated what he had done only moments before, the veins in his hands shown slightly as he tensed, a look of domination in his eyes. the rush he felt inhibited his ability to think rationally, or else he would have stopped. Pure desire and determination took over, the bits of Reiatsu whipped and licked his hands in a wild and enraged fashion, like a caged animal. He wasn't going for the barrier anymore, he was suddenly hell bent on an attack Kidou.

Hikari knew that kidou was harder to control with harsh, raging emotions. She may be bubbly and upbeat on the outside, but she always felt so calm and serene on the inside while doing something like kidou. She excelled at it, and Sumizome didn't seem to bother her while she practiced it. It felt good not to have that harsh voice interrupting things. On top of that, she could sit and practice however she wanted. When Haruko takes a seat and begins reading, Hikari manages to seat herself on the table and watch her as she studied. Even as she does so, she concentrates reiatsu to her fingers and begins drawing shapes in the air with them. She's practicing moving from envisioning to control. Her movements appear smooth, even when sharp turns are made as if closing a knot.

Haruko can't help but occasionally glance up at Hikari as she reads, and she can't help but shudder a little. The fact that they started at the same time, but Hikari is so much more advanced already startles her down to the core. She might never be able to catch up, but she sure would try. She shakes her head and looks back down to her book, not just reading, but analyzing every passage over and over in her mind, contibuting it to memory. It may take time to commit every aspect of kidou to memory, but Haruko doesn't really mind, as long as she does it right.

Hikari twitches her nose as she watches her fingers gently smooth around curves and sharp turns, leaving the lightest trail of reiatsu. Others might not be able to tell, but she can sense the little mistakes she's making. She finds it hard to believe how easy this was to use within her inner sanctum, and now it seems like she's using it for the first time. She almost sighs but catches that before it escapes. She knows she just needs to work on keeping her reiatsu flowing while her mind is serene. "It'll come... It'll come."

Rei strained his body and his will, his hands began to close together without the intention of doing so, his black Reiatsu whipped around faster,and with more verocity as he attempted. "RIDICULOUS! THIS IS MY REIATSU! MY POWER! I SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO WHAT I WANT WITH IT! ESPECIALLY IF I EXPECT TO SURVIVE A SIMPLE HOLLOW ATTACK!" At the thought, Rei took in a sharp breathe of surprise, which broke his concentration, giving his objective Reiatsu a chance to strike again, plastering him against the bookcase even harder, but instead of wasting it, the black Reiatsu flowed back into him through his face, leaving burn marks a random places on his face. Slumping to the floor with an extra glazed over look in his eyes, he sighed and got back up, taking the stance once more.

Oddly enough, Shunketsu had already begun to figure out what Medixia had commented on...Slowly, he began to shift his focus from releasing reiatsu to using just the amount necessary...He didn't have the natural talent for kidou like Hikari did, so he had stopped trying to copy her methods...it was pointless being that his strengths lie elsewhere...Instead, he focused on what he could already do...He then began quietly mumbling to himself
"Ranboukaze...a violent wind...a storm...what is a storm? a system...it flows..."
The glowing reiatsu around his palm seemed to reach out and gather something and before long, he had the makings of a ball of concentrated reiatsu and air in front of him...
It wasn't very stable though, as it seemed to leak in all directions, and as Shunketsu began to lose his concentration...it dissipated into nothing...
"Sorry Kusinagi-san...I don't really feel like giving that section a second read-through...I'm not that patient..."

Upon finishing the chapter, Haruko determines that the easiest way to learn the use of this technique is to take the reiatsu ball one step further. She will have to mold it into shapes and forms, until she can form it into items of complexity. Because the step before controlling someone else's reiatsu and turning it against them is to be able to control your own outside of your own body.
Haruko forms the reiatsu ball in her hands again, and she gives it a moment to make sure its stable. Then she contorts the flow of he reiatsu ever so slightly, and the reiatsu starts to move shape. It now lookw like a kind of squashed egg. While it's not quite what Haruko had in mind, it is still stable, and it is a start.

After searching through the books Kenji found a Kidou that seemed easy enough and kind of useful the Chiyu no Ichi, he closed the book and found himself a nice open space to practice, he closed his eyes and let his Reiatsu flow freely then he began to move the pull towards his left palm he had done it earlier so it shouldn't be to hard but there was still resistance and strain and he began to form the ball slowly in his hand as the sensai had instructed.

Kaosu sighed, standing. "Hallowed battlefields and rotting dreams..." He muttered, pooling his reiatsu again. He stopped, and wiped sweat from his brow. It was harder to use his energy than bring it out and let it back in.
"Hallowed battlefields and rotting dreams..." He started again, bringing his hands together. "Transgressions repaid..." He continued, bringing his hands apart, watching the threads form. "Go forth and rend. Hadou no Ni...Happaji!"
He brought his hands to his side and fired the Hadou, watching it fly across the room, growing in brightness. As it hit the wall, it immediately dissolved, not enough energy to do any damage what so ever. He smiled, patting his hands. "Whew. Let's see if I can do this again..."

Kaosu wiped his sweaty palms on his gi, and sighed. Attempt four... He closed his eyes, bringing his hands together again. "Hallowed fields and rotting dreams..." He brought the strands out again. He smiled, he was getting the hang of things! "Transgressions repaid, go forth and rend..." Bringing his hands to the side, he paused.
"...Hadou no Ni, Happaji!" He watched the ball of energy fly, accompanied by five strands connected at the back, until it hit the wall again, the energy dispersing. He sighed, wiping the sweat back.

"Ok now concentrate carefully." He said to himself as he let the Reiatsu build in his palm, as he got it bilut up he focused carefully to get it just right as he focused to remember the incantation, he really needed to get this down he was already behaind.

Kaosu smiled, clasping his hands together. "Hallowed fields and rotting dreams..." He quickly pulled his hands apart, cockily moving through the motions. "Transgressions repaid...go forth and rend!" He brought the energy together, placing it at his side. As he went in for the final chant, the energy died and went back into Kaosu.
He frowned, looking at his hands. I suppose I'm not ready enough for such a lack of concentration.

She remained on the desk, bouncing lightly in place, legs kicking gently against the edge of the desk, as she watched the students. Each one seemed absorbed in their own movements and actions, their practice things, and she was content to just watch them all, waiting to see who, if anyone, would ask for her assistance.
Her tongue clicked against the inside of her mouth, and she lay her hands across her one over the other, as small bubbles of reiatsu flowed across her palm, fading away as they reached the other.
