大学に日本に行くつもりなので、日本語を勉強しています。 I am studying Japanese, as I plan to go there during college.
I only know one phrase in Spanish, though I'm not sure my grammar is any good: Me gustan los chicos en faldas!

In order of knowledge: English Spanish French German Portugese Italian Russian Latin Tagalog (filipino) Swedish Japanese Chinese
All of which I've spent more than a week trying to learn some of! In case you're wondering, I'm just white. xD nothing special. I've taken 3 years of spanish in high school, skipped level two of it, and next year will be my second year of french in school. There, also, I'm skipping level 2. I studied German individualy and extensively for a year. Portugese and Italian come naturally now because of my french and spanish knowledge. I spent 3 months trying to learn some russian for a few friends I had. Latin is also connected with the other romance languages I know. I know random words in Tagalog because I spend tons of time at my best friend (and ex-girlfriend)'s house, who is filipina. I spent a month trying to learn Swedish. I know random japanese from those around me who've tried to learn japanese, and from the anime I've watched. And... lastly, I'm making an attempt to learn mandarin because next year I'm hosting a chinese exchange student.
I intend on being a linguist for a living, so no, I'm not wasting my time with this knowledge. xD
oh... and @ anfinity: You like boys in skirts? xD

Languages I want to learn: russian, german, japanese, latin, and chinese.

Yo hablo un poco de español. Está lloviendo. La chica en la falda es caliente. El chico en la falda... no es caliente. Él es feo. sweatdrop
I took two years of Spanish, so I know basics and that's about it. I'm very fluent with English though as it is my native tongue.
Do sarcasm and '1337 speak' count?

azndragon42415 Are you one of those band geeks that can speak 2+ languages? What language do you speak? Do you speak to other people in another language? Do you speak the other language(s) fluently? Yep Spanish and Italian To bug them,or get them to leave me alone. Only Italian. While Spanish is similar,I haven't quite gotten to the point where I can speak it with ease.I had to learn Italian because my grandfather shouts at me when I speak English instead. He refuses to learn it stare

Quote: Phantom of the forum: Don't call the language Spanish, 'filipino', please. It's rather offensive to a lot of people. (not me though...I'm not Spanish.) Dude. There is such a thing as a Filipino language. It's called Tagalog. I have friends who speak it. Hai! watashiwa nihongo o sukoshi hanashimasu. anata wa nihongo o hanashimasuka? watashi wa doitzugo to tagalogugo o zenzen hanashimasen. watashi wa hiragana to katakana o maamaa jyoozu desu. Translation: yes, I speak a little Japanese. Do you speak Japanese? I speak no German or Tagalog at all. I am so-so at Hiragana and Katakana (Japanese characters).

Guten morgen. Good morning.(because it's 12:44 am here)
german, if you didn't guess. I'm not fluent, but I know more than the rest of my class because of the excessive amount of books I read.
I am full of useless facts and phrases that I pull from who knows where.
