Hi I'm Zang, I am here upon an invite from a vp- i'm interested in the mythological creatures such as Fawns and Minotaurs and such- I also enjoy medieval fantasy and is why i am mainly here- however, my invite mentioned a contest and i'm not sure what he meant- i would like to become one of the "crew" as he said, so could you redirect me to it?

Hi every1,im Dillon,my interest in mythology started in my first yeah of highschool,wer we had to do men and Gods for literature and well i liked it razz ,my favorite God is Poseidon and favorite Godess is Aphrodite.I joined this guild because I wanted to learn more about mythology and meet some cool peoples who share this same interest.Its nice to be here and i cant wait to meet u all biggrin

ok,call me Chris,or whatever works for you.
Im from florida,im 13 and in the 8th grade and having high school classes so it stinks so far and i liked greek mythology since...well around 5,when i saw the cartoon movie Hercules XD but seriously though,thats where i got my interest from.

I own a dictionary myths, which holds anything from Gods to Legends.

Hi, My name is Shawna. I started to get interested in Greek Mythology about 4 years ago. I didn't really start loving it until about a year ago. Me and my boyfriend Ryan both love it and I love learning new things about it. I know some facts about it but not as much as i would like. So i would greatly appreciate it if anyone could teach me more!!! Thank you so much for letting me join, and I'm exited to learn. biggrin

Hi! I love greek mythology. I'm pretty obsessed with it. My mom used to read me myths as bed time stories. Thanks to that I actually knew more of the actual myths than my college lecturer who took that particular class.
My favourite myth is the 'Rape of Persephone'. It always has been.

I know that this is probably a little out of the norm but my friend when she was applying to join the guild got excited and forgot to paste in her answers to the quiz. She asked me to paste them here for her. Her name is Isabella Morena.

Hello, my name is Tim I'm 14 years old and I became interested in Greek mythology years ago after playing a game called "Age of Mythology". It had lots of nifty tid-bits about Greek mythology inside of it so I just started researching it a little bit and I got hooked on it. My favorite Greek god is Hepheastus, god of Technology and volcanoes and black smiths. All that good stuff. Also my favorite Greek Goddess is Athena and my favorite Titan is Gaia.

wow, am I old. I'm 23, and I've already finished my minor in Classics. I think I remember a book of myths in elementary school, and I definitely got more interested in early high school when I was worshiping the Goddess, and researching Her different incarnations. I've actually settled on the Virgin of Guadalupe, which isn't Greek at all, but my favorite Goddess right now is Elethuia, Goddess of Childbirth. Her name is just too fun to say.
I think my favorite myth right now is Pasiphae and the Bull. tee hee!
What I love about myth is that they cover everything, and they're so accessible.

My name is Luna, I'm 18 and I'm writing a novel mostly based on Greek myths in a roman setting (look out for Archives of Katryoneia when its done). I know a lot about the Greek Mythos- but not when I found out I liked it. I do Classical Civilisations at College and will probably go on to do a degree in creative writing and history.
I don't really know who my favourite deity is, but I've narrowed it down to three- godwise, Apollo, Ares and Hermes. Goddess-wise, Eris, Artemis and Athena.
If you're going to ask about my favourite tale- don't. I've no idea.

Hello everyone. I am Crystal Dragon Wings and I am 24 years old. I don't really remember when I first came across Greek mythology, I just know that I fell in love with it right away. Actually, it could have been Fantasia that got me hooked on it. I loved the musical number with the centaurs, gods and cherubs.
Learning Greek history and mythology was one of my favorite subjects in school, and I also studied it in my free time.
I joined this guild so I can meet other people who have the same appreciation for Greek mythology as I do. I hope to have great conversations and fun with everyone! heart

Pasithea here. I'm 21 years old and have been a fan of Greek and Roman mythology since I was very young. I started to study it a lot more when I was 16 and began writing a novel of sorts starring a Greek deity and several other assorted characters. I have since then revised and gone over that story hundreds of times in my head and several times on paper (but have scrapped those as well).
I hope to learn more about Greek mythology from other people here who are far more knowledgeable about it than I am so that I may be very well informed when I finally complete my novels.

oh wow. I haven't formally introduced myself, have I? stare
..okay. I'm Hades. If you're into mythology, which you probably are (If you aren't, why the hell are you here?), then you know me as the Greek god of the underworld and such. I'm not *as* vengeful as Zeus or a chronic rapist like Poseidon. Pardon my French, but screw them. So no, I am not evil. Don't listen to anything Disney says. Althogh I particularly liked The Beauty and The Beast. I'm getting off topic, aren't I?
So yes. What else? I'm happily married to my wife Persephone, currently reside in the underworld (Which is actually quite pleasant if you're afraid of sunlight like I am.), and will not donate gold or any of my cheap Daily Chance items to you, no matter how hard you haggle me. I earned 'em. Hmph!!!! Oh, and those of you who feel old, I'm worse. Trust me. *cough1millionyearsorsocough!*

Hi everyone,
I got interested in mythology in elementary school which led me to taking Latin in middle school and high school. Currently I am a classics major in my senior year of college. Mythology is my favorite part of classics, which is why I am excited that in my Latin and Ancient Greek class we're translating Ovid's Metamorphoses and Hippolytous. I'm looking forward to talking to you all.
