Mizoko Miz just back from seeing Batman Begins. She was sorely disappointed. Oh, you were? I'm probably going to see that movie tomorrow. Why was Miz dissappointed? Clara has heard good things about that movie.

Comrade Clara Mizoko Miz just back from seeing Batman Begins. She was sorely disappointed. Oh, you were? I'm probably going to see that movie tomorrow. Why was Miz dissappointed? Clara has heard good things about that movie. Let's just say that the critics were way too generous. The beginning was far too drawn out, it became predictable less than half-way through, it could've been reduced by half an hour or more, and the so-called 'action' scenes wouldn't wow a five year-old.

Well, I did hear that the action scenes were pretty cruddy, but that the character development was good. And it is pretty hard to be surprising with a super hero movie. I mean, we all know what happens. They just have to make the ride interesting. But it is annoying when movies get too damn long.

The character development... was okay... but still even that was too drawn out. I was downright bored for most of the movie. For me, the most exciting part was when I went to the bathroom, as I had consumed far too much root beer.

My cousin thought I was crazy since I didn't know what War of the Worlds is about. Neither did my brother. I was ABLE to connect something with the radio convincing people of aliens invading Earth with a fictional story but...
I'm sorry I was born in 1989 and that was like.. early 1930s? Whatever.. I'm also sorry I didn't realized they had a television series or something during the 90's. Which if they were in the late 90s I'm SURE that I would have heard about it... or at least seen it.
Though.. I don't see how Tom Cruise is supposed to be so special...

I just saw Millennium Actress, and fine, it kicked a**. A lot of a**.
But I had to read the subtitles because of the lazy non-dubbers. That made Clara sad, because she would have enjoyed the movie more had it been in English. But it had a really cool story and pretty art and cool music, so that made up for it.

Ichigo's working on her Renaissance-dude costume. When I'm through being the Wall in A Midsummer Night's Dream, I get to walk around the faire and be a snooty actor guy and hand out quest items to small children. o.o
