Akuyoko I think this is kinda neat. Not the greatest thing in the world but, like Sakurai said, "bust[ing] a gut laughing at some accident will be quite fun!". True. Watching other people's pain is fun. To be honest, betting to get coins sounds a lot more convenient than playing Classic mode over and over and hoping you get more than four coins at the end (Melee, please stand up). I also enjoy watching other people play Smash, so I think I'll get quite a bit of fun out of Spectator mode. I wish they'd posted a character today instead, but there's nothing we can do.

This update is... well, when I'm eating something, I just turn on the Wii, and watch other people across the nation beat the crap outta each other. That is sweetness. Those of you who want a new character update....
ARE FRIGGIN' BABIES. All I hear outta've youse peoples is "This update sucked! I want Megaman! This is a pointless update! I need a diaper change!"
Can't you appreciate the fact that there are updates coming EVERY weekday?
Those of you who don't complain... I have nothing to say to you. Intelligent people need no praise. (Hah, contradicted myself.)

I realize they update every weekday, I don't think anyone needs an update from you to realize that. But there are many veterans that would not spoil the essence of the game by being introduced to the public. There are lots of charatcers that we know are going to be in it, but they haven't announced yet, and if they haven't announced a character in 3 weeks, I think we have a right to say "What the butt?"

I have a feeling most of the matches we'll watch will be pretty terrible. 80% chance it's some 8 year olds screwing around.
Then there's the 20% chance it's people our age kickin' a**, and it'll be a fun fight to watch.
Getting coins out of it is a major upside.

I guess it's an easy way to get stickers and coins, if you know who to vote for.
Also, if we were able to know who the players were. I bet a lot of people in my town would place there bids on me and my friend Terror_King, since we are our town's top 2 Champions of Melee.

It looks to me like their trying to avoid duplicate players this time, unlike in melee, where almost every character had a match with the same moves.
