Shyrae chuckled, "If you learn anything about me from this encounter, Captain, I'm banking on it being that I don't make bad meals. It's all a little softer than you're probably used to it and has some seasoning in it, but it's good enough for anyone on your crew to eat." Her gaze moved to Gem and she gasped for a moment and would have slapped at her forehead but she was holding a steaming bowl of soup. "I'm so sorry Captain. I should have brought you a bowl as well but I just wasn't thinking. If you'd like some, there's a whole pot in the galley just waiting to be eaten. Settling next to Hunter on the bed, she lifted the spoon and began feeding the soup to him. She'd used one of her mother's tricks and runed the bowl so that the liquid was at a constant temperature. One that was hot enough to still be soup but not scalding, the perfect temperature for soup. "There, now aren't you glad you weren't stubborn?" she asked wiping his mouth with a cloth. "Look at what you'd be missing out on."
Uh-oh, she'd made a boo-boo. Glancing back for a moment, she frowned...she hadn't meant to upset anyone. "Well, I was just saying what I saw but I guess this is what Lynnie meant by not having a filter. I wasn't designed with one and I don't think you were either." Obviously getting upset now, she fluttered haphazardly. "Do you think they'll hate me now?"

"Well that makes sense...seeing as that's not a book you pick up just anywhere." It was hard to make idle conversation when things like this were happening around you...master of recovering from perhaps awkward situations though. A few blinks before looking to him, "I'm fine...just a little unexpected. If that makes sense." Things like this went over Kaz's head...and while a sweet quality, it was frustrating sometimes how he picked up on some subtleties and not others. Yup, she liked torturing herself like this, she was sure. But a look to her shoulder and she blinked before a poke. Wait, were those scales that were trying to grow back in? Already? "That's new and different..." Certinally explained the itchy feeling.
Gem gave a smile and a dismissive wave. "Oh don't be so upset girly, I'm a pirate and used to getting what I want by going after it myself, or not getting it at all. Thats' the way we work. Though I do appreciate the though. Would crush Galley's heart if I didn't eat what he painstakingly made every night." Galley of course just what she called her cook...his real name was Adam. But amused as Hunter was being fed and more or less catered to, you think he'd enjoy this. "Play nice and we'll be playing pirates soon enough again. Though I may have to get one of those dragons to push us out of this cove, we're not catching any wind in here."

"You don't remember, do you? Mother... used to do it for you too..." The frown didn't vanish from his face however, as he looked down to examine her wounds. She was right, new scales were indeed growing back... "Don't touch." Catching her hand then. You never knew how easily these things were irritated. "Eilynne must have given you a potion to help with the pain and to speed heal your injuries. It looks like you'll be fine in a day or two." Features softening at that good news. "Would you like to talk to her later? Maybe get re-examined?"
"A filter... Is that what it's called?" He didn't know they were 'equipped' with some other part that increased self-awareness and control. "Why would they hate you? They barely even know you. That was just a delicate situation... If you stay around Kaz and us more, you'll understand." Well, she was quite the mood changer wasn't she? From super bouncy to depressed just like that.

"I don't know. I told you I just observe and then more often than not I let people know what I see." A shake of her little ball self. "I think they're just both being silly. Kazzy doesn't really get it, does he?" She flitted back over and shined on Jae's shoudler then bounced. "Exactly right. Lynnie's magics do that kinds of stuff but it won't take longer than a day to grow back in. They should be done in the next hour or so and then you'll be good as new!" THus her voice lowered, "Lynnie's got good stuff like that, but to get her to give it to you...well, she must really like you."

She looked away some at thetone his voice had taken, she knew it and she didn't like it. No, Bell didn't know much about Kaz's mother, but she had been exposed to her...she was still very small. "I didn't mean it that was I...just...meant..." Trailing off some, she knew he didn't like to talk about her. "I haven't forgotten, it just..." Not a good subject to mention and she was grateful this time for his ability for distraction to come over things such as she was undergoing. And apparently she wasn't allwed to touch at them either. "That's nifty...but I guess, if she'll let me. You're the one she favors after all." Before tossing a look to Areesa with a blink...she had been given no impression that the Laerethe put any favor in her, heck she couldn't even use the creature's name yet. "It's harmless, just a little irrtating and un-nerving perhaps."

"It's alright." Oh, if only he had any idea how frustrating it was to deal with him sometimes... In Kaz's dictionary, trailing off and looking away correlated to being uncomfortable which then made him think that her wounds were still bothering her, despite the sped up healing process. "She did say she wanted to help us and she's probably able to tell how well you are just by looking at you. I'll come with you, if you want." Looking over to the little yellow glow at the Seons came back, he nodded knowingly to Jae. "She won't deny you anything."
"You should be a tour guide or something then. But no, he doesn't think those things. Someone will have to break him out of the shell eventually..." Turning to follow her back towards the dragons, hovering by Jae's hand. "See, even Little Ms. Sunshine says so... And maybe it's just my claustrophobia acting up but are we going to hang around in this musty corner all day?"

For once Areesa didn't say what she was thinking since it would have only upset someone most likely. Personally she felt that Jae could probably break him out of his shell. "I'll do it if it needs to be done." Though she flittered about the other two. "The sun is still shining upstairs on the deck."
"Areesa, are you pestering people again?" Eilynne walked up and glanced over the two dragons, then brushed a hand over Jae's shoulder which thankfully was back at her height. "The strange feeling will go away once the underlayer is back in. The upper layer will not cause you any discomfort at all." Then she turned and glanced at Kaznec. "You are both welcome on the deck. I would appreciate some company."

Well with the whole gun crisis avoided pretty much Caden felt good that nothing had gone wrong, also he felt that at least his friend wont be bothered much about his true from though he did hope that he would transform back to being human, it would work out for everyone that way. So after chatting a little to his friend Caden decided to head topside to get some fresh air.
Moments later Raynes was leaning against a railing, staring out to the open sands with a watchful eye. There might be sand as far as the eye could possibly see but the guardian didn't mind it much, after all it was somewhat pleasant to look at even through a spyglass. Speaking of which Caden dug into his new leather pouch to pull out what he had purchased at the pirate port they had stopped at about a week ago and stared at it, it was a lovely piece of work and he was happy to get it. So after extending it Caden lifted the end piece of the spyglass to his eye and began to scan the area, no one knows what they could spot out here.

"She doesn't seem the type to, but if you think it's best that I see her then it won't hurt if it puts everyone at ease." Though she jumped lightly at the enigmatic voice of Eilynne as she more or less popped up on them...at least in Bell's opinion she had. She watched as the Laerethe examined over her somewhat. "Oh, that's good to know, scales growing in is never too fun a feeling." Not to mention the ones that were there but not visible since she was in neutral human form. "Thank you M'lady." Before a look back to Kaz. "There you have it, it's still light and we've been invited on deck. I think some sun would do us good, and Xeke is deperately missing it."
Savvy took leave of the men, werewolf, and whatever else was in that fiasco. She was still pissed that she was owed money...those were expensive. Or maybe...maybe she could get daddy to send her some more. And knowing him he'd send her the latest little necromancer thing, be it trinket or spell. Acquiring some paper and ink, she sat down on the deck, using a barrel as a table and began penning out a letter to her father...again by line feel though...sometimes actually looking at the letters confused her.

A glance up in surprise as the familiar voice appeared out of the darkness and Eilynne joined them. "No, we were just making our introductions. Areesa is a rather refreshing change to have around." He was relieved as Jae was indeed checked over by the Laerethe though and nodded his thanks to her also. "Yes, I feel the need to stretch my legs too. There's your answer, Xeke. Go on, lead the way." Though he did take the time to dress himself properly again, putting on the shirt that Jae had mended for him before following the group up to the deck.
"Is it pestering if she's just being herself?" Pulsing in humorous fashion, bumping against the yellow light once before zooming off as if issuing a challenge. "Sometimes I envy the creatures who are able to feel the heat of sunlight." But yes, he was less irritable now that they were out in the open air.

Eilynne merely rolled her eyes and lifted a finger at the bouncing yellow ball. "Tone it down Areesa." Thus heading up to the deck and settling on the side of the ship. A quick glance at the elf who was busy with her letter before going back to the dragons and Seons. "It's almost evening but the Captain is still incapacitated. The elf is still with him as is the other Captain. Is there anything else that have the two of you concerned?"
Bobbing slowly in place in answer to Eilynne, Areesa giggled happily and spun around the blue ball. "Xekie! You made a funny. I am a good influence on you. C'mon." Thus she happily bobbed her way on up to the surface, humming some sort of tune.

Well, seeing as Eilynne was ordering around the Seon, they must be right that it did indeed belong to her. The Seons were fascinating, and it was quite a thing to even know a person who had one, and now she knew three, she was lucky sometimes wasn't she? But she waited for Kaz, after all, he was still sore and such, and then followed up to the deck. Indeed the sun felt good...well what sun they were getting what with being tucked in the cove as they were, ships one behind the other. "The dragons...something was very off with them. But other than that I think all is relatively well." Walking over to Kaz and taking his arm, starting at his hand she took to massaging. Wanted to make sure that pain stayed down. "Would I be right in assuming that Areesa is your Seon, M'lady?"

Even though Caden wasn't an elf his hearig was pretty good, so when a small batch of his companions came up from below the guardian pulled away from his spyglass and looked over to where they settled themselves. With a small smile across his lips he compressed his spyglass back to it's small form and made his way over to them. "Hello Commander, Bell." He gave a small nod of his head before he turn to the oldest one in the group and smiled. "Hello M'lady, it's nice to see you again." Though a pause as he looked to the floating balls of light and grinned. "Why hello there...the names Caden it's nice to meet you two." He has seen the blue one around but not the yellow one, still he never actually talked to these beings before until this moment.

Up on deck, he tried stretching his wings though the left one was still somewhat straining and giving him pain. It did feel better to be walking around and such though, sitting down for extended periods of time were not so healthy for one's circulation. He noted Savryn and the human guard as well, nodding to the latter in acknowledgment. "Raynes." Leaning against the rail by the Laerethe, he cocked his head somewhat. "It seems as the ship repairs are well underway and almost done. That is a good thing. Jae is right though, I too was wondering about those that attacked us. Did you get the chance to examine them closely, Eilynne?" Then a surprised look down to his arm that was being massaged, lips twitching at the pleasant feeling.
How easily amused Areesa was... "I think the proper term is 'joke'... And don't get ahead of yourself now, I can be humorous when I'm in a good mood." Spinning a few times in the air around the mast, occasionally knocking against her. "You said sometimes there's another Laerethe among us. How come I never feel it?" But attention to the person that approached them, flaring in light somewhat. "You're the human guard, I've seen you around."

Nodding to Caden as he appeared she glanced at the white dragon. "Call me Eilynne, Jaebelltiah. You allowed me to know your name and you are free to use mine as well. And yes, Areesa is my Seon. She glanced out over the sand for a moment and nodded. "Yes, I did. I'm quite concerned. They were real and yet not. I have a feeling we'll see more like them though."
"Since when have I cared about proper? Making a funny, everyone understands. You told a joke...some people don't know what those are but everyone knows what funny means. It makes so much more sense." She was knocked off balance a few times by Xeke but settled back down and bounced. "It's not sometimes right now, Xekie and it's complicated." Though she bobbed around Caden's head. "Hi! I'm Areesa."
