"I saw a few zombies, but I don't think I saw any real living person.
There might be some hiding out in what remains of the army base, though."
He smiled softly at Alex and pet his head once, then laid back against the couch.

"Yuki says that he thinks people survived. The bomb only affected people in a 500 mile radius. We could always just leave. Start a new life some where new."
He paused for a minute. "I'm kind of afraid to go to the army base. If they find out people survived and aren't zombies they might come after us and do God knows what..."

Tynan nodded and shuddered, bringing his knees to his chest.
"Probably..
Maybe we shouldn't go there then..
I'd rather not experience all that pain and torture again.
