you know you're a band geek when you have graduated high school but still go back just to hang out in your high school band room.... i did that yesterday... for like 2 hours.... rofl

You know you're a bandgeek when you go to a basketball game and start humming your part to the national anthem and realize you were doing it subconscously by about halfway through the song

You know you are a band geek when you are sitting in class, surrounded by musically illiterate people, while in a music appreciation class, and someone says "hey i love this song!" and you snap at them "it's only a song if it has words in it! it's a piece when there aren't any words!" i am totally guilty of that.... razz

you know you are a band geek when you are sitting in a class (same class as the afore-mentioned one) and you can sit there and name every song that the professor is playing because you heard it in your high school band class during the listenings they made you sit through... if only i knew to pay more attention

You've learned how to play the fight song on your telephone
You type 'Band rules' and other band things in your TI-83 calculator in math
You've actually typed 'Band' instead of 'and' a few times
You can bribe the uniform managers
You can bribe your band director to give you rides home
Or you don't have to bribe your band director to give you rides home
You've slept on the floor of the instrument storage room
You know at least 25 different ways to fall asleep on a crowded, noisy bus
You play along with your CD's that your band has recorded
People know not to make fun of band around you
But they do it anyways just to tick you off...
You try to make rhythms out of any sort of clicking noise you hear
You spend more time in the band room than at home
And you ENJOY IT! domokun

You know you're a band geek when...
You've read through all 69 pages of posts and still have new ones to say.
You get excited when you hear that the new marching band(/football...heh) field will be made of astroturf (guilty).
You hear the word (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor) Dreamcoat and you think of either your uniform jacket or the drum major's honor band patch-covered jacket.
Getting acknowledged by a marching upperclassman makes your day.

DiddleFreak61387 Masquanade You know you're a band nerd when you dressed up in your old band uniform as your halloween costume. I didn't do it . . . but someone else did sweatdrop i was gonna do that, but i think my BD burned the old ones... uhmmm You know your a band nerd when you know the tone of the school Bell Our bell is flat. lol Please dont ask how I know that! Its an odd and stupid story.

You know your a band nerd when you agree with your BD as he/she compairs you with cake.
Our BD says -percusion is the cake, woodwinds are the iceing, and the brass is the funny design on top.
