Shinji had been on a roll. His genjutsu skill wasn't so good, but he was doing so good and felt great. He put his hands tgether again, this time in another handseal, the nezumi handseal. He concentrated again, and thought of another horrifying figure.

The thought was too terryfying even for the person who created. That made Shinji break the seal. He mumbled something unaudible, and put his hands together again into the Nezumi handseal.
If you can insert horrifying images, why not sweet and peacefull images? he thought doing just so.

Only one more time and he would add something more to his genjutsu. He put his hands together into the Tora handseal. He did not close his eyes this time, seeing that the eyes were the best source to transfer the jutsu. He did it successfully, and transfered the happy image he had in his head to the Kage.

Now it was time to add some smell into it. Illusions like smell were usually one of the hardest, so it would take more chakra and dedication from Shinji's part. He put his hands together into a handseal. He reviewed his past doings, vision and hearing, which he masteres quiet well by now, now to add a little smell.
A rotten smell would be awesome for this kind of vision.. he thought.
He could almost smell it, and his face twisted in disgust.

Shinji was almost sure the smell was passed, as an expression of disgust formed on the Kusakage's head. He put his hands together again into a handseal. This time, he would transfer a soothing aroma that would be better. He fit this into a picture of a garden and the sound of the breeze and bees buzzing.

Shinji smiled as the soothing aroma came into his head. He, then, sent it successfully to the kage.
What to do next... he thought.
Then, for some strange reason, he thought of cheese.
That would od... he thought.
He put his hands together, but the smell wouldn't come clearly to his mind.

After thinking a little more about cheese, he finally got the right smell. He imagined a piece of cheese sitting on a plate. The cheese had been left in the plate, uncovered, for days. The smell was fermenting, and it smelled really bad. He managed to transfer this, and to add sound, he imagined some flies buzzing around the smelly cheese.

After the cheese, he thought of something else smelly, fish. He really hated cheese, the only thing he ate fish in was sushi, and still, sushi was not his favorite, but at least it didn't smell. He thought of the smelly smell of fish, and broke the handseal he had. He had imagined it so hard that it made him want to throw up.

Shinji tried to get that strange smell out of his head, seein it made him throw up.
"Maybe something not smelly would do..." he mumbled as he giggled.
He thought of some nice cologne he had smelled on his dad before his parents disappeared. That scene came back to his memory, and he tried to pass that scene with his Genjutsu. But it didn't work.

Shinji instead thought of something else, seeing that vision he just had kind of sad.
"Hmmm..." he said putting his left hand on his chin.
He put his hands together, and imagined the aroma of good old homecooking. THis, brought memories of the festival, in which he had eaten a lot of things. This vision was also not transfered to the Kage.

His chakra was getting exhausted. It seemed that everytime he failed, it was because he was using too much chakra. He put his hands together again, and imagined the training grounds he was on full of flowers with good smell.

Shinji was getting frustrated. 3 of his past attempts failed in a row. It was kind of ridiculous. He concentrated, and made a horrific monster with lots of sound, and a horrifying smell. After breaking the seal, he found out that he had transfered this successfully.

Shinji concentrated to add more flowers and odor to the previous genjutsu he had transfered.
"Hmm...." he hummed concentrating.
The odor intensified, and the number of flowers multiplied.
"That's the way!" Shinji said breaking the Genjutsu.

"AH!" he said turning on the lightbulb oer his head.
He imagined a dead body walking, and then imagined mournful sounds followed by a putrid rotten smell. The illusion was fully transfered.
"P-U!" screamed Shinji, then giggled.

Just a couple more times qould do. He put his hands together into a handseal, and concentrated on making a simple smell of homecooking. This was probably because he was really hungry. Well, the hunger diverted his mind, and the illusion was passed without that good smell.
