After Nik had situated himself, Alex sat down next to him. "Not bad." Lifting the cup he went back to nursing it's contents of caffeine goodness.

Nik shifted to allow him room, sipping at his mug off coffee quietly. He stared down at it, it's lack contacts letting him see his reflection. He felt young for a moment, though jiggled the mug ever so slightly, so it was all better and not reflecting him anymore.

Even if Nik had said something, it would have went right by, Alex was engrossed in his own thoughts. He didn''t have time to become attached, at least not yet. He glanced at Nik unsure if the boy would be able to handle it if they did something and Alex dropped of the face of the 'earth' for a brief period of time.

He sipped his coffee again, and glanced over to him, tilting his head. "So why -did- you get me drunk?"

Alex quirked an uneasy brow, his eyes shifting toward Nik but the rest remained pretty motionless and fixated on the warmth slowly spreading throughout his hung over body. "We actually went over this once already. You volunteered."

Alex stopped dead setting the half emptied mug on his leg. "You're thanking me for a headache? A mind numbing headache?"

He gave him a gentle smile, shifting a bit this way and that. He finished his coffee, and sat the mug on the coffee table. He glanced around.

He glanced around, looking up at the cieling. "Just you and me, I believe." He relaxed into the couch, pulling his legs up close to himself. "Why?"

"Curious on weather the three? of them had returned yet." It was slightly mumbled from the rim.

Nik waatched the other, keeping a close eye on hiim, seeming to scan over hiim for somethiing, though his eyes told a different tale. He wanted to be close.
