Oh he had ENOUGH.
Grabbing hold of one spider, Ryan lifted it up off of the ground and slammed it into a group of them before tearing into all of them with his claws. At this point, with the way he was attacking them, he might have looked like an enraged cat.

It was raining spiders.Lucky was paralyzed at the sight of it. Song leapt into hand, but his fingers were twitching, and his resolve was eroded entirely. He could practically see a sundial transposed over the seething black and red mass. Time inevitably skipping back, reversing and switching just before the end, a conditional immortality that let them suffer but not succumb. They could not die until they had fulfilled their purpose --He took a step back. They could not die until-- Another. They could not die -- He turned and fled to the back of the room without another word. His actions were meaningless. Success and failure were meaningless. Song howled and screeched. He brushed a hand over the ragged incision through his vest and shirt, where a jagged blade had impaled him through. "Mimsy..." He spotted her easily. Like several other Life hunters, she was crowded in the back, away from the worst of the insect and arachnid invasion. He was afraid to even ask, at first. Piosenka was probably right. She didn't want him, or need him, or anything he had to offer - especially his concern.

He moved on ward, though his arms kept getting hung up on something mid swing, making it weaker.

"Big bad..?" Finally making it to the boss made Maebe look up, and up, and up.. just in time to get shoved back into the mobs by Aria. She didn't know if she was upset, or grateful.
